SELF-ADAPTING VARIABLE LOUDNESS AND/OR VARIABLE SOUND PATTERN EMERGENCY VEHICLE SIREN SYSTEM WITH OPTIONAL COLLISION WARNING
An example emergency vehicle siren system can include: one or more emergency lights; a siren; and a controller including a processor and memory, the memory encoding instructions which, when executed by the processor, cause the controller to modify a sound of the siren based upon a context of the vehicle, the context including at least one of a speed and location of the vehicle.
SAFETY ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR PRESENCE DETECTION INSIDE A VEHICLE
An electronic device for detecting the presence of an occupant on board a vehicle includes an audio sensor to acquire sound-sensing signals on board the vehicle. A movement sensor acquires movement-sensing signals associated with movement of the vehicle and an environmental sensor acquires environmental-sensing signals on board the vehicle. A processing unit is coupled to the audio sensor, movement sensor, and environmental sensor processes the respective sound-sensing signals, movement-sensing signals, and environmental-sensing signals to monitor the presence on board the vehicle of the occupant and the absence of a responsible person to determine a situation of danger and to activate a corresponding alarm warning.

EMERGENCY WARNING APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
Disclosed herein is an emergency warning apparatus for a vehicle. An emergency warning apparatus for a vehicle according to one embodiment includes: a housing; a balloon which is placed in the upper portion of the housing, which is connected to the housing by a string, and which is expanded by introduced gas; a gas storage part which stores gas in order to supply gas to the balloon; a solenoid valve which controls a gas flow to the balloon; a main switch which operates the solenoid valve; a control unit which controls the main switch; and a main power supply which supplies power to the control unit; wherein when the main switch is operated, the solenoid valve is opened, gas is introduced from the gas storage part into the balloon, and finally the balloon rises upward and enters a state of being identifiable from a distance.
SYSTEM AND METHOD TO INDICATE A VEHICLE STATUS
One general aspect includes a method to exhibit a vehicle status, the method including: receiving a signal that the vehicle status be exhibited at a vehicle; and based on the signal, generating a vehicle status indicator that corresponds to a status of the vehicle, the vehicle status indicator being a visual cue visible in an environment surrounding the vehicle, where the vehicle status indicator is generated by an antenna module located on a portion of the vehicle.

TFT LCD AUTOMOBILE LIGHT FIXTURE
A light bar has a circuit board positioned within a housing and having a plurality of light emitting diodes (LEDs) or a thin-film-transistor liquid-crystal display (TFT LCD) is configured to transmit light. The housing has wiring electrically connected to a controller. The controller is configured to receive signals from the electrical system of the vehicle, interpret the signals received from the electrical system of the vehicle, and in response automatically control illumination of independently controllable segments of the vehicle light bar. The controller is initially programmed to perform specific function(s) and/or strobe according to specific patterns and is thereafter at least partially restricted from being reprogrammed by a user to serve other function(s), either by restricting the emission of light in at least one color and/or preventing specific strobing pattern(s).

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE SYSTEM WITH ACOUSTIC EXTERNAL WARNING
A method for operating a transportation vehicle that includes an emergency assistance system to issue a warning signal to the surroundings of the transportation vehicle based on a risk factor in the presence of initial indications of no longer sufficiently guaranteed human or technical control of the transportation vehicle.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE AUDIO SOURCE INPUT CHANNELS
Systems and methods for generating sounds in a vehicle, comprising generating a first type of sound via a first channel, and generating remaining sounds via a second channel, wherein the second channel is different than the first channel, and wherein the remaining sounds are different than the first type of sound. In at least one example, the first channel has a volume output that is fixed-defined in an audio system of the vehicle. The first channel may additionally have a fixed output channel with a subset of speakers of the first channel being fixed-defined in the audio system.
