System and method for surveillance
Provided herein is a system and method implemented on a vehicle. The system comprises one or more sensors, one or more processors, and a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the system to perform: obtaining data from the one or more sensors; comparing the obtained data from the one or more sensors with reference data; determining whether one or more characteristics of the obtained data deviate from corresponding characteristics of the reference data by more than a respective threshold; in response to determining that one or more characteristics of the data obtained deviate from corresponding characteristics of the reference data by more than a respective threshold, determining an action of the vehicle based on amounts of the one or more deviations; and performing the determined action.
DISPLAY FOR REAR LAMP OF A VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a rear lamp display configured to display images as well as perform the usual functions of a rear lamp assembly. The rear lamp display may include a light source and a digital mirror device. Obstacles detected may trigger display of a static or animated representation of the obstacle in the rear lamp display. Detection of a turn may invoke display of a direction of the turn as well as text indicating a target of the turn. Detection of an intervention of a vehicle system to maintain stability, a warning may be displayed that indicates potentially hazardous road conditions. Where opening of a door is detected, a representation of an open or opening door may be displayed. Where a following vehicle is detected, the speed limit or cruising speed of the vehicle may be displayed. Objects left in the vehicle may trigger display of an alert.

Systems and methods are provided for adjusting headlight properties according to the speed of the vehicle. In particular, some embodiments aim to optimize a vehicle's lighting in suboptimal conditions. Using the data processed by the ADAS, the system is able to optimize the vehicle's lighting by taking into account various factors beyond the current speed limit on the road.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR NOTIFYING EXPECTED MOTION OF VEHICLE
An apparatus and a method for method and an apparatus for notifying an expected motion of a vehicle are provided. The apparatus includes: a light projection module disposed on a body of the vehicle and operable to project a visual light pattern to an external environment in which the vehicle is driving; and a processor configured to: obtain trajectory information indicative of an expected motion of the vehicle; and generate, according to the trajectory information, and transmit to the light projection module a projection control signal for controlling the light projection module to project the visual light pattern onto a surface in the external environment such that the expected motion of the vehicle can be visually observed from the external environment.

The illumination control unit is configured to change the illumination state of the left-side illumination unit (40L) when a vehicle (1) has detected a pedestrian (P). The illumination control unit is configured to change the illumination state of the left-side auxiliary illumination unit (42L) according to the speed of the vehicle (1). The illumination control unit is configured to change the illumination state of each of light emission segments (43L) of the left-side illumination unit (40L) and each of light emission segments (44L) of the left-side auxiliary illumination unit (42L).
