OPTICAL ASSEMBLIES FOR AIRCRAFT DISPLAYS
A light emitting diode display panel may comprise a substrate, a plurality of light emitting diodes located over the substrate, and an optical assembly located over the plurality of light emitting diodes. The optical assembly may include a lens array and a diffuser. An inner surface of the lens array may define a plurality of inner curves.
System and method for illuminating a moving object within an enclosed space
A system for illuminating at least a portion of an object within an enclosed space includes an object configured to be moved within the enclosed space, and a beacon coupled to the object. The beacon is configured to emit a light tracking signal. A light sensor is configured to detect the light tracking signal emitted from the beacon. A lighting control unit in communication with the light sensor is configured to determine a position of the object within the enclosed space based on the light tracking signal as detected by the light sensor. A lighting assembly is in communication with the lighting control unit. The lighting control unit is configured to operate the lighting assembly to emit the illuminating light onto the at least a portion of the object based on the light tracking signal as detected by the light sensor. The system may also be configured to guide a passenger to a seat, and provide way-finding illumination.
Lighting device
A lighting device includes an indoor lamp (11), being provided in the cabin of a railroad vehicle (1) in order to wholly irradiate the inside of the cabin over the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, a vehicle body power supply (20), supplying electric power to the indoor lamp (11), and a storage battery (30), being charged with a voltage applied by the vehicle body power supply (20). The indoor lamp (11) includes a general lamp light source (12) and a standby lamp light source (13), being lighted at an illuminance lower than that at which the general lamp light source (12) is lighted, and the general lamp source (12) being supplied with electric power from the vehicle body power supply (20) not through the storage battery (30), while the standby lamp light source (13) being supplied with electric power from the vehicle body power supply (20) through the storage battery (30). In an emergency, electric power is supplied from the storage battery (30) only to the standby lamp light source (13), and the standby lamp light source (13) is continued to be lighted at the low illuminance.

Area light integrated in a cabin furnishing element
A cabin furnishing element for a cabin, such as a cabin of an aircraft, includes a panel having a panel body. The panel body includes an illumination surface having an illumination zone, and defines a lighting recess within the panel body relative to the illumination surface. The panel also includes a lighting system having a light source assembly and a light guide. The light source assembly and light guide are retained within the lighting recess defined by the panel body. The lighting system is adapted to selectively illuminate a portion of the illumination zone.

OFF-ROAD VEHICLE
A vehicle shown herein is a side by side utility vehicle having frame configured to effectively transfer various loads throughout the frame as whole. The vehicle may further or alternatively include a routing tray configured to retain various fluid lines of the vehicle, a transmission including a passive duct acoustical attenuation device, a door seal configured to allow the frame to contact the seal at an angle, a modular door actuating mechanism, and/or a modular skid plate.
DEVICE FOR ILLUMINATING A CAB OF A UTILITY VEHICLE
The invention relates to a device for illuminating a cab of a utility vehicle, preferably a truck. The device has a roof region (10) and a storage compartment device (12), which is arranged in the roof region (10) and can be closed at least partially by means of a door element (22, 24). The device has an illumination element (38, 40), which is arranged on a roof liner (34) of the roof region (10) such that, by means of the illumination element (38, 40), a cab interior and an interior of the storage compartment device (12) behind the door element (22, 24) can be illuminated when the door element (22, 24) is completely open. The device thus provides function integration since the illumination element (38, 40) is used not only to illuminate the cab interior but also to illuminate the storage compartment device (12) or the luggage rack.
Light-emitting device and mobile object
A light-emitting device includes: a holder having an elongate shape and flexibility; and a flat light-emitting element held by the holder and having a rectangular shape and flexibility. The holder includes a frame portion extending in a longitudinal direction of the holder, and a holding part protruding from the frame portion in a plan view. The frame portion of the holder and the flat light-emitting element overlap in a lateral-view direction, and the flat light-emitting element is joined to and held by the holding part.
