AIRCRAFT EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM
An aircraft emergency lighting system is disclosed. This emergency lighting system may include interior emergency lighting, interior ambient light sensors, exterior emergency lighting, and exterior ambient light sensors. The interior emergency lighting, the exterior emergency lighting, or both, may be controlled based upon an input of the interior ambient light condition (e.g., using an output from at least one of the interior ambient light sensors) and based upon an input from at least one of the exterior ambient light sensors.
ILLUMINATION SYSTEM AND AIRCRAFT LAVATORY UNIT
An illumination system illuminates a periphery of a mirror that reflects a face of a user. A light is provided around the mirror. A sensor detects information on the face of the user and is located on a periphery of the mirror. A light control unit controls the lighting state of the light based on a detection result of the information on the face by the sensor.
PASSENGER SERVICE UNIT HAVING A COVERING, PASSENGER SEATING AREA AND VEHICLE HAVING A PASSENGER SERVICE UNIT
A passenger service unit, a passenger seating area, and a vehicle having a passenger service unit are provided, wherein the passenger service unit comprises a carrier element that can be extended in a longitudinal direction and a covering. The covering covers at least a section of the carrier element. At least one electrical and/or electronic element is integrated in the covering.
LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE CABIN
Apparatus, systems and method for providing cabin lighting within a vehicle cabin are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a non-transient memory, a processor coupled to the non-transient memory and an application stored in the non-transient memory and executable by the processor for determining whether a predetermined cabin condition is satisfied, detecting movement of a passenger within the vehicle cabin and upon detecting movement of the passenger within the cabin and upon determining that the predetermined cabin condition is satisfied, causing cabin lighting within the vehicle cabin to provide cabin illumination that follows the movement of the passenger.
FIXTURES WITH SIGNALING DEVICES
A light fixture for a public transportation train system powers an antenna used for train signaling. The antenna can provide to the train a location marker associated with the location of the antenna. The antenna can provide to the train other data communicated to the light fixture through the light fixture communication system.
Galley insert multi-purpose LED system
A galley appliance system includes an integrated light emitting diode (LED) strip to display operational data, detect certain states of the galley appliance, and alter the LED strip accordingly. The integrated LED strip illuminates the area adjacent to the galley appliance and the interior of the galley appliance when the galley appliance door is open. The LED strip provides customizable galley mood light when not otherwise occupied. Multiple appliances may be in data communication to provide galley wide mood lighting. The system may be in data communication with aircraft systems to provide environmental feedback via color coded illumination.
