Vehicular forward viewing image capture system
A vehicular forward viewing image capture system includes an accessory module configured for attachment at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle, whereby a CMOS image sensor views through the windshield forward of the equipped vehicle. With the accessory module attached at the in-cabin side of the windshield, and while the vehicle is traveling along a road, captured image data is processed to determine (i) presence of an object of interest viewed by the image sensor and (ii) location and/or movement of the object of interest viewed by the image sensor. Multiple frames of captured image data are processed in determining location and/or movement of the object of interest. Image data captured by the image sensor is processed for an automatic headlamp control system of the equipped vehicle. The vehicular forward viewing image capture system automatically compensates for misalignment of the image sensor.
Aircraft lamp that changes irradiation direction
An aircraft lamp includes a variable lamp unit in which an irradiation direction of light by a light source changes; a behavior detection unit that detects behavior of an airframe; and a controller that controls the irradiation direction of the light by the variable lamp unit based on a detection result of the behavior of the airframe.
Headlight module and headlight device
A headlight module includes: a light source for emitting light; a condensing optical element for concentrating the light; and an optical element including an incident surface for receiving the concentrated light, a reflecting surface for reflecting the received light, and an emitting surface for emitting the reflected light. The condensing optical element changes a divergence angle of the light to form a light distribution pattern. The reflected light and light that enters the optical element and is not reflected by the reflecting surface are superposed on a plane including a point located at a focal position of the emitting surface in a direction of an optical axis of the emitting surface and being perpendicular to the optical axis, thereby forming a high luminous intensity region in the light distribution pattern on the plane. The emitting surface has positive refractive power and projects the light distribution pattern formed on the plane.
Adaptive headlight system
A motor vehicle includes headlamps having a plurality of LED light sources, one or more processors, and a memory storing instructions. One or more processors executing the instructions are enabled to receive first data, including at least map data, indicating a road curvature upcoming along a road on which the motor vehicle is traveling. The processors are also enabled to determine a light change, the change adapting a light pattern of the headlamps in at least one of color, intensity or spatial distribution to increase light in a direction of the road curvature ahead of the motor vehicle and shaping light based at least in part on the road curvature. The processors are further enabled to control at least a first plurality of the LED light sources to provide light based at least in part on the determined light change and prior to the motor vehicle reaching the road curvature.
AIRCRAFT LAMP
An aircraft lamp includes a variable lamp unit in which an irradiation direction of light by a light source changes; a behavior detection unit that detects behavior of an airframe; and a controller that controls the irradiation direction of the light by the variable lamp unit based on a detection result of the behavior of the airframe.
Light projection device for a moving body having an optical scanner and control portion controlling a mirror portion
A light projection device for a moving body is provided on the moving body and includes: a light source for irradiating light; an optical scanner which has a mirror portion for reflecting the light irradiated from the light source and a drive source for swinging the mirror portion, and scans the light irradiated from the light source; and a control portion which controls to acquire change information of an angle range at which the mirror portion swings, change the angle range at which the mirror portion swings by controlling the drive source based on the acquired change information, and change an irradiation range of the light irradiated from the light source.
VEHICLE LIGHT FIXTURE
A vehicle light fixture include a first light distribution illuminator that emits a first light distribution to the front of a vehicle, and a second light distribution illuminator that emits a second light distribution having a light-dark boundary line at least on a side of the vehicle, wherein illumination of the first light distribution illuminator and the second light distribution illuminator is controlled in response to a predetermined operation of the first light distribution illuminator by the driver of the vehicle. The second light distribution illuminator includes a light source, and a projection lens that projects light emitted from the light source to form an illumination pattern surrounded by multiple light-dark boundary lines and emit the illumination pattern to a side of the vehicle, and the projection lens focuses more of the light emitted from the light source passing outwardly from the optical axis of the projection lens.
STEERING WHEEL
A steering wheel is provided. A steering wheel of a vehicle capable of autonomous driving includes a grip unit having a rim shape and held by a driver to steer the vehicle, an illumination unit provided in each of a left portion and a right portion of the grip unit in a circumferential direction of the grip unit, and a control unit configured to control the illumination unit to light up in a hold induction pattern for inducing holding by the driver according to a situation of the vehicle and a vehicle state pattern for guiding the driver through a state of the vehicle.
Vehicle having a projector for projecting an image on a road surface
Information related to a vehicle can be displayed by projecting an image based on the information on a road surface or the like. An image projection apparatus that projects an image includes: a sensor unit that acquires information related to a vehicle; and an image projection unit that projects the image based on the information acquired by the sensor unit.
