The present disclosure relates to a headlamp leveling system. The headlamp leveling system includes a leveling controller that generates a control code based on information on a location of a speed bump, information on a current location of a vehicle, and information on a vertical level of a rear surface of the vehicle, and a headlamp leveling device for changing a light irradiation angle of a headlamp to a light irradiation angle corresponding to a code value of the control code.

A vehicle lighting device includes at least one headlight, a position and/or acceleration sensor, and a control unit for adjusting a light/dark boundary of the headlight. Pitch movements of the vehicle can be detected by the position and/or acceleration sensor, and a change in the light/dark boundary due to the respective pitch movement can be compensated for by the control unit. The position and/or acceleration sensor and the control unit are arranged in the headlight or directly on the headlight.
HEADLIGHT CONTROL APPARATUS
A headlight control apparatus for controlling an irradiation angle of a headlight of a vehicle based on a pitch angle includes a height sensor and a camera. The height sensor detects a displacement amount of a spring upper member with respect to a rotation axis of the vehicle as a contraction length. The apparatus obtains an infinity point correlation value based on an infinity point position in the image obtained by the camera in a vertical direction. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, the apparatus obtains a standard pitch angle based on the contraction length and obtains the infinity point correlation value at the present time as a standard infinity point correlation value. When the condition is not satisfied, the apparatus obtains the pitch angle based on the standard pitch angle, the standard infinity point correlation value, and the infinity point correlation value at the present time.
