Headlight for a Motor Vehicle
A headlight for a motor vehicle includes a first lighting device and a second lighting device, which are provided for generating a dipped beam. The first lighting device, when switched on, generates a first light distribution on the ground in front of the motor vehicle, and the second lighting device, when switched on, generates a second light distribution on the ground in front of the motor vehicle. The first lighting device is permanently switched on when the dipped beam is activated, and the second lighting device is switched off when the dipped beam is activated and when a predetermined condition is met. The second lighting device is always switched from being switched off to being switched on when the speed of the motor vehicle is greater than or equal to a specified speed threshold.
Vehicular lamp
A vehicular lamp is provided with a plurality of light emitting units and configured to independently control ON/OFF of the light emitting units. The plurality of light emitting units are disposed so that a desired light distribution is formed by overlapping scanning of illumination spots formed on a virtual screen by emitted lights thereof. The plurality of light emitting units are divided in a plurality of channels, the same direct drive current is supplied to at least one light emitting unit of all of the light emitting units included in the same channel, and the direct drive current is constantly maintained during a scanning period. The current amount of drive current for each channel is set in accordance with a light distribution mode, and ON/OFF of each light emitting unit is switched at a predetermined timing determined in accordance with the light distribution mode during a scanning period.

VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD
A method for controlling a vehicle that includes at least one camera and a lamp, the method including: controlling the at least one camera to capture at least one image of an area in front of the vehicle; extracting, from the at least one image, a light distribution pattern formed by the lamp in the area in front of the vehicle; and performing at least one control related to the extracted light distribution pattern, based on a comparison result obtained by comparing the extracted light distribution pattern with a reference light distribution pattern.
VEHICLE HEADLIGHT CONTROL APPARATUS
A vehicle headlight control apparatus controls headlights of a vehicle including LEDs. The vehicle headlight control apparatus includes: drivers and each of which gradually changes a luminance of the LEDs between a predetermined on state and a predetermined off state over a switching time period; and a lamp ECU that determines the switching time period in a changeable manner.
HEADLIGHT CONTROL DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A headlight control data generation device that generates headlight control data of a vehicle including a headlight includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit sequentially acquires, when a manual mode is selected, set data including a detection value of an illuminance around the vehicle, and ON and OFF data indicating that the headlight is in an ON state or in an OFF state at the time of sampling of the detection value, and generates the headlight control data based on the acquired set data. The headlight control data includes data regarding information on a probability of the headlight being in an ON state.
Method and system for automatic control of a headlight of a vehicle
The present disclosure relates to a method and system for automatic control of a headlight of a vehicle by a mobile computing device. The mobile computing device receives vehicle related information and external information associated with the mobile computing device, where the mobile computing device is associated with an operator of the vehicle and is communicatively coupled with vehicle. Further, the mobile computing device computes an intensity and an orientation of a headlight of the vehicle based on one or more vehicle lighting patterns, where said vehicle lighting patterns are generated based on behavior of the headlight of the vehicle, which is operated by the operator, for a pre-defined duration in association with the vehicle related information and external information and provides computed intensity and orientation of the headlight of the vehicle to a lighting control module of the vehicle for automatic control of the headlight of the vehicle.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE AUTOMATED ADAPTATION OF A BRIGHTNESS OF AT LEAST ONE LIGHT FOR A VEHICLE
A method and a device for the automated adaptation of a brightness of at least one light for a vehicle. The method includes a step of determining a position and/or a moving direction of the vehicle relative to a first and/or second national territory; a step of ascertaining data that represent a brightness requirement for the at least one light as a function of the position and/or moving direction of the vehicle; and a step of the automated adaptation of the brightness of at least one light as a function of the ascertained data.
Vehicle lighting fixture
A vehicle lighting fixture is configured to form a predetermined light distribution pattern (for example, a high-beam (driving) light distribution pattern and a low-beam (passing) light distribution pattern) by superimposing N partial light distribution patterns wherein N is a natural number of 2 or more. The vehicle lighting fixture can include a light intensity changing unit configured to change a light intensity of at least one partial light distribution pattern out of the N partial light distribution patterns.
