A new concept vehicle comprises six major components: Sedan body shell with back opening, Entity of movable roof, rear pillars, and liftable back window, Unit of foldable trunk top and tailgate. Rear side widows with glass panels, Auto track systems, and Affiliate parts. Based on a basic sedan body with rear trunk opening, the entity of movable roof, rear pillar and liftable back window moves backward or forward along the track systems, and the unit of foldable trunk top and tailgate that enclose the trunk and body back works together with rear side windows and other components to make two types of vehicle configurations of standard sedan and light SUV/station wagon.

An adjusting device for providing a storage compartment having a storage space the volume of which is variable, including an adjustable part by means of which at least part of a wall delimiting the storage space is defined and which can be adjusted between an initial position and at least one adjustment position, the volume of the storage space in the initial position of the adjustable part being different from that in the adjustment position of the adjustable part. In order to provide a motor vehicle with a luggage compartment of variable size, the motor vehicle comprises a cover attached to a vehicle portion of the motor vehicle adjacent to the luggage compartment opening and/or defining the luggage compartment opening, and which is made of a flexible material and is configured and arranged such that, in the open position of the tailgate or by pivoting of the tailgate into the open position, it can be transferred from a compact rest state into an extended function state.

A luggage device for a vehicle includes a container including a door that is openable and closable, a first mounting portion facing the door, and a second mounting portion configured to connect the door to the first mounting portion, the container having a fillable space formed therein, and a drive mechanism configured to connect the container to a mount subject such that the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion is attached to the mount subject and to switch mount directions of the container.

A multi-purpose vehicle having a fastback state and a wagon state, which comprises a vehicle body, a main liftback body and a first driving device. The vehicle body comprises a roof, a C-pillar and a tail. The main liftback body is movably connected with the roof and the tail. The first driving device is located in the vehicle body and is connected with the main liftback body, so as to drive the main liftback body to move relative to the C-pillar, therefore the multi-purpose vehicle can be converted between the fastback state and the wagon state.

A cargo hold extender can include a plurality of folding walls. The plurality of folding walls can be folded into a stowed position contained entirely within a cargo hold of a hatched vehicle. The plurality of walls can also be moved to an extended position in which the plurality of folding walls extend outwardly through an aperture of a hatch of the hatched vehicle supported by a mounting mechanism mounted within the cargo hold. The plurality of folding walls can be deployed and connected with the hatch of the vehicle, thus forming an extended cargo hold for a hatched vehicle.

A vehicle trunk includes a panel having a leg protruding past a perimeter thereof and a trunk floor defining a recess and cavity. The leg occupies a first portion of the cavity to secure the panel perpendicular to the floor, and a second portion of the cavity different from the first to secure the panel flush within the recess such that the panel is disposed over unoccupied portions of the cavity.

Aspects of the disclosure provide an adjustable storage panel apparatus for a vehicle (e.g., bus) that includes an upper panel assembly; a lower panel assembly, wherein an upper edge of the lower panel assembly pivotably engages a bottom edge of the upper panel assembly; opposing horizontal tracks comprising a front end and a back end, the horizontal tracks configured to be disposed on each of opposing side walls of the vehicle, wherein the lower panel assembly slideably engages each of the opposing horizontal tracks; and opposing vertical tracks comprising an upper end and a lower end, the vertical tracks configured to be disposed on each of opposing side walls of the vehicle along a vertical plane. The upper panel assembly slideably engages each of the opposing vertical tracks such that the upper and lower panel assemblies are positioned along the vertical plane in an extended position and the lower panel assembly is capable of being slid along a length of the horizontal track such that the lower panel assembly remains substantially parallel to the vertical plane and the upper panel assembly becomes oriented at an angle relative to both the vertical plane along the opposing vertical tracks and the lower panel assembly.
