AVN MONITOR DRIVE UNIT FOR VEHICLE
Provided is an audio-video-navigation (AVN) monitor drive unit for a vehicle, which is configured to tilt an AVN monitor coupled to a crash pad in a direction toward a passenger seat. The AVN monitor drive unit includes a monitor assembly, a hinge bracket slidably positioned at a rear of the monitor assembly, and a tilting portion configured to connect the monitor assembly and the hinge bracket to each other and tilt the monitor assembly from the hinge bracket.
VEHICLE CAMERA MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle camera arrangement, including: a camera mounting assembly coupled to a structure of a vehicle adjacent to a lower portion of a windshield of the vehicle; and a camera assembly coupled to the camera mounting assembly having visibility through the lower portion of the windshield of the vehicle. The structure of the vehicle is associated with a dashboard of the vehicle. The camera mounting assembly includes a sealing member disposed between a front portion thereof and the lower portion of the windshield of the vehicle. The vehicle camera arrangement further includes an air duct adapted to deliver an air flow to a front portion of the camera mounting assembly and the camera assembly through the structure of the vehicle.
Connection device for releasably connecting two assemblies
A connecting apparatus detachably connects two assemblies. The connecting apparatus includes a fastener module securable to a first of the assemblies and including a negative-pressure element, and an attachment component of a second of the assemblies. The negative-pressure element is connectable in an attachment direction to the attachment component for connecting the assemblies with one another, wherein, in a connected position, the negative-pressure element interacts with the attachment component such that, in the event of a load acting in between the fastener module and the attachment component opposite to the attachment direction, the negative-pressure element and the attachment component are held against one another by a negative pressure acting between the negative-pressure element and the attachment component. The fastener module includes an adjustment element which is adjustable relative to the negative-pressure element and which is movable relative to the negative-pressure element.
VEHICULAR VISION SYSTEM WITH CONSOLE VIDEO DISPLAY AND MIRROR VIDEO DISPLAY FOR EXTERIOR VIEWING CAMERAS
A vehicular display system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) and a plurality of cameras disposed at the vehicle. The cameras capture image data and provide captured image data to the ECU. The system includes a video display screen and a video mirror display screen that are operable to display video images derived from video images provided by the ECU. When the vehicle is traveling forward at a speed below a threshold speed, the ECU generates rearward view video images derived from image data captured by a rearward viewing camera and provides the rearward view video images to the video display screen. When the vehicle is traveling forward at a speed at or above the threshold speed, the ECU generates rearward view video images derived from image data captured by a rearward viewing camera and provides the rearward view video images to the video mirror display screen.
Glovebox
A vehicle includes a housing disposed within a dashboard, a bin rotationally operable within the housing, and a hook integral to the bin and positionable around a post assembly integral to the housing, wherein the hook is operable between a design position when the bin is in a closed position, an open position when the bin is in a fully ajar position, and an assembly position when the bin is in an installation position.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device for a mobile vehicle comprises at least one light emitting part, an emission angle adjustment part, and a light control film part. The emission angle adjustment part is configured to transmit light from the at least one light emitting part therethrough while adjusting an emission angle of the light from the at least one light emitting part. The light control film part is configured to switch between a transmitting state to transmit light from the emission angle adjustment part therethrough and a diffusing state to diffuse the light from the emission angle adjustment part. The emission angle adjustment part has at least one louver portion that is made of reflective material and is configured to adjust the emission angle of the light from the at least one light emitting part.
Robot for vehicle and control method thereof
The present disclosure relates to a robot provided in a vehicle capable of performing a function related to the vehicle. The robot includes a body, a head positioned above the body, an actuator configured to apply an external force to allow the head to move relative to the body, a camera disposed on the head to capture an image, a communication unit configured to perform communications with one or more devices provided in the vehicle, and a processor configured to control the actuator so that the camera is directed toward an inside or outside of the vehicle based on information received via the communication unit.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus includes a display panel, a frame, and a bracket. The frame surrounds an outer circumference of the display panel in a planar view in which the display apparatus is viewed in a direction orthogonal to a plane of the display panel. The bracket holds the display panel from a back side of the display panel and extends outside the outer circumference of the display panel in the planar view. The bracket (i) has a bending portion that extends toward a front side of the display panel outside the outer circumference of the display panel in the planar view, (ii) supports the frame from a back side of the frame by the bending portion and (iii) has a projection in the bending portion that holds a lateral surface of the display panel.
Vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The component provides a user interface with a display/image when illuminated. The component comprises a composite structure with a cover material providing a light-transmissive effect and a surface providing a surface effect (grain/wood texture) visible when the display is off. The image is presented at the cover surface when the display is on. The cover may comprise a wood veneer with backing (paper, fiber material, etc.). The composite structure may comprise a mask layer and a lens, filter, colorant, etc. The user interface may include a sensor. The light source may comprise a display panel, LED/array, module, etc. The image is visible at the user interface when display functionality is in operation; when display functionality is not in operation the surface effect of the cover (e.g. wood texture) is visible with substantially no indication of display functionality.
