ADJUSTABLE PORTABLE DEVICE HOLDER
An apparatus for mounting a portable electronic device to a pair of spaced apart posts (e.g., of a vehicle headrest or a suitcase), is also useful as a stand to support a portable electronic device at an angle relative to a horizontal support surface on which the apparatus rests. The apparatus includes a first element configured to be selectively attached to a pair of spaced apart posts by application of an external compressive or expansive force to thereby decrease or increase a distance between portions of the first element until grips of the first element can be aligned with and attached to the spaced apart posts, and then removing the external compressive or expansive force. The apparatus also includes a second element that is attached to the first element and is configured to selectively hold a portable electronic device. The apparatus, when used as a stand, functions like a tripod.
Mounting clip
A holder device to hold a mobile device with respect to a vent or a surface of a vehicle has a ball-and-socket joint pivotally coupling together a clip to engage the vent or surface, and a clamp to releasably carry the mobile device. The ball-and-socket joint has a ball pivotally disposed in a socket. The ball-and-socket joint has a friction fit or an interference fit between the ball and the socket sufficient to hold a position between the ball and the socket under a weight of the clamp and the mobile device without an applied external force.
VENT BLADE DEVICE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A vent blade device mounting assembly (20). The assembly (20) including a first body part (24), a static jaw (38), a movable jaw (34), a spring (32), a second body part (26) and a link means (30). The static jaw (38) extends from the first body part (24). The movable jaw (34) extends from the first body part (24). The spring (32) biases the movable jaw (34) towards the static jaw (38). The second body part (26) telescopically mounts to the first body part (24). The link means (30) is between the second body part (26) and the movable jaw (34). Depression of the second body (26) part inwardly into the first body part (24) drives the link means (30) which in turn drives the movable jaw (34) away from the static jaw (38) against the bias of the spring (32).
In-vehicle device
An in-vehicle device includes a functional unit to be arranged at an instrument panel of a vehicle and configured to perform an operation toward a driver seat of the vehicle, and a blinding panel covering a front surface of the functional unit. A plurality of perforations is formed in the blinding panel to extend through the blinding panel in a thickness direction of the blinding panel.
MAGNETIC MOUNT FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES
A magnetic mount includes a case and a support. The case includes a soft protective cover, a hard protective frame configured to removably mount over the soft protective cover, and a first member placed between the soft protective cover and the hard protective frame. The soft protective cover includes a back panel to cover a back portion of the electronic device, and a side wall extending from a top surface of the back panel along edges of the back panel The support has a second member and the first and second members are magnetically attractable to each other for magnetically attracting and retaining the case to the support.
Air outlet support
The present disclosure provides an air outlet support mountable to an air conditioner of an automobile, belonging to the technical field of fixing supports for vehicle-mounted electronic devices. The air outlet support includes a first housing, a second housing, a snapping part, and a rotating part. The second housing is connected to the first housing, and has a first through hole; the snapping part penetrates through the first through hole and has a first bent portion; and the rotating part is rotatably arranged between the first housing and the second housing, and is movably connected to the snapping part. When the rotating part rotates, the snapping part is displaced along an axial direction of the rotating part, and the first housing and the second housing are configured to limit displacement of the rotating part in the axial direction of the rotating part.
HOLDER FOR HOLDING PORTABLE DEVICE
A holder for holding a portable device on an air-outlet grille of a vehicle. The holder includes a body portion having a fixed pad supporting one side of the portable device; a moving portion having a moving pad that is linearly movable between first and second positions; an elastic plate that restricts movement of the moving pad at the second position; a depressible button to release the moving pad from a fixed state to a movable state. The moving pad contacts the opposite side of the portable device which is then retained between the fixed and moving pads. A tongs portion, having a tongs clip, a coupling clip, and a tongs holder, secures the body portion to the air-outlet grille. A spring compressed when the moving pad moves from first to second position, moves the moving pad back towards the first position when the button is depressed.
Vented Detachable Phone Holder for Automobiles
The invention provides an automotive detachable holder for devices such as cellular phones. The holder can be attached to an air vent in a vehicle, permits adjustment of the position and orientation of the device, and is equipped with passages and vents that allow the air flowing from the vent to be directed in a desired direction. The invention is an improvement over prior art holders that block and/or misdirect the air flow from the vent to which they are attached.
Adjustable Vent Clip And Gripping Clamp System
A support system which allows for the mounting of a smart phone, or a video player, or similar electronic device, in a variety of ways at a distance from the user. The support system may be adapted to plug into the vents of an automobile, facilitating use of the electronic device while driving. The support system may include a kit of parts which allow for the mounting of a gripping clamp adapted to grip a smart phone. The kit may include a lever mount adapted to facilitate mounting of the support system, and the electronic device it supports, onto the stowed tray table of an airplane.
Holder for holding portable device
A holder for holding a portable device inside a vehicle including a body portion having a fixed pad supporting one side of the portable device when placed thereon; a moving portion having a moving pad that is linearly movable between first and second positions; an elastic plate that holds the movement of the moving pad at the second position; and a button that is pushed by the portable device when placing the portable device onto the body portion to release the moving pad from a fixed state to a movable state. The moving portion may include a spring that is compressed while the moving pad moves from the first position to the second position, and moves the moving pad back to the first position from the second position by an elastic force.
