Retaining assembly to attach one or more mobile devices to a mobile object
A retaining assembly to attach one or more mobile devices to a mobile object. The retaining assembly may include a mounting plate that attaches to the mobile object by way of a mounting bracket or scorecard clip-on. The mounting bracket provides dovetails for selecting engaging the mounting plate in different orientations. The mounting plate facilitates various magnetized components to removably attach to the mobile device. If the mobile device has a third-party extensible grip, a retaining ring may be employed to attach the mobile device or the extensible grip modified to one of the various magnetized components.
Hand-held device holder
A device for mounting a hand-held device is disclosed. The device providing hands free operation of the hand-held device during a vehicle operation is also disclosed.
Auxiliary terminal-control apparatus and method
An auxiliary terminal-control apparatus, where the apparatus includes a back plate sticker, a control key embedded into the back plate sticker, a communications module, and a control module. The control module is configured to recognize a target operation on the control key, and generate, based on the target operation, a corresponding target operation instruction, where the control key includes a roll ball and/or a key, operations on the roll ball include a roll operation and a press operation, and an operation on the key includes a press operation; and the communications module is configured to establish a communication connection to a terminal device to send the target operation instruction to the terminal device, where the target operation instruction is used to operate an application program on the terminal device or trigger a service.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED DEVICE
A vehicle-mounted device includes a switch unit installed in a traveling object and configured to be operated by an occupant; a speaker unit installed on a far side of the switch unit from the occupant; an air chamber installed on a far side of the speaker unit from the occupant; and a substrate provided between the switch unit and the speaker unit and including at least one opening.
Enhanced amusement vehicles and a method for simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry for improved race experience
An amusement vehicle, retrofittable hardware gamification attachment, and method for simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry for improved racing experience are disclosed. Amusement vehicle comprises sensor-specific transmitters/receivers for communicating with other amusement vehicles moving in amusement environment. Amusement vehicle comprises a processor simulating power-ups in-game virtual vehicle enhancements and virtual weaponry based on sensor-specific signals transmitted to or received from other amusement vehicles. Power-ups and virtual weaponry are simulated by increasing/decreasing speed, causing damage, providing temporary protection from damage, freezing weaponry, and deactivating weaponry the amusement vehicle for pre-defined time corresponding to sensor-specific signals transmitted to or received from other amusement vehicles in gaming event of amusement environment. Amusement vehicle comprises cameras for capturing still images/video of amusement vehicle and surroundings. An adaptive video system (AVS) processes, transmits, and displays still images/video on a display screen of amusement vehicle and display device external from amusement environment.
Head-up display control system and head-up display display method
A normal information display quantity of a head-up display device is set as a first information display quantity, an information display quantity of the head-up display device after a control unit receives a detection signal of detection of installation of a mobile terminal on a terminal holder from a mobile terminal installation detection unit is set as a second information display quantity, in which the second information display quantity is set to be smaller than the first information display quantity, and at least a part of display information that is displayed in the first information display quantity but is not displayed in the second information display quantity is displayed on the mobile terminal.
Media sensing phone mount for a vehicle
In some embodiments, an apparatus may install easily like a simple cell phone holder while facilitating controlling cameras mounted and/or fixed to a vehicle using a cell phone. For example, the system may facilitate installing, monitoring, powering and/or controlling vehicle mounted sensors without having to integrate the system into each particular vehicle. An aspect of some embodiments of the current invention relates to an integrated apparatus for mounting a mobile device and a media sensor on an open and/or two wheeled vehicle and for positioning a media sensor on that vehicle. Optionally, a camera integrated to the mount such that the field of view (FOV) of the camera is preserved over a desired scene even as the position of the mobile device is changed and/or the vehicle performs various maneuvers. In some, embodiments an integrated apparatus may be mounted to a rearview mirror of a vehicle.
Computer cradle
The present invention concerns a tablet device (10) and an associated cradle (12) holding the tablet device. The cradle comprises a mounting portion (18) for mounting the tablet device (10) and cradle (12) to a steering wheel (60). The mounting portion (18) is configured such that when the tablet device (10) and associated cradle (12) is mounted to a steering wheel (60), a bottom edge of the tablet device (10) and associated cradle (12) lies outside a first airbag-deployment-zone (70) and within a second airbag-deployment-zone (72). Contact between the bottom edge of the tablet device (10) and associated cradle (12) and an airbag deployed into the second airbag-deployment-zone (72) pushes the tablet device (10) and associated cradle (12) into the steering wheel (60).
Driver station with module comprising an electronic communication interface element and associated vehicle
A driver station of a vehicle including a support structure and a module that has a central part, a steering wheel and an electronic communication interface element. The central part is connected to the support structure. The steering wheel and the electronic communication interface element are arranged on either side of the central part along a main direction. The module is able to be moved relative to the support structure between a first position, in which the steering wheel is provided to be across from a driver, and a second position, in which the electronic communication interface element is provided to be across from the driver.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR LOCALIZING A SENSOR IN A VEHICLE
A method for localizing a sensor in a vehicle includes using a first sensor mounted on a vehicle to capture at least one image of a moveable element of the vehicle, the moveable element having a predetermined spatial relationship to a second sensor mounted on the vehicle, the moveable element being moveable relative to the first sensor; determining a spatial information on the moveable element on the basis of the at least one image; and localizing the second sensor on the basis of the spatial information by a transformation rule representing the predetermined spatial relationship between the moveable element and the second sensor.
