SEAT CONSOLE ASSEMBLY
A seat assembly is provided with a seatback having a forward surface to support an upper body of an occupant and an upper console portion formed on a rear surface of the seatback. The seatback pivots at a seatback pivot axis to a use position where the seatback extends generally horizontal. A bottom cushion has an upward surface to support a lower body of the occupant. The cushion pivots at a cushion pivot axis to an access position to access a lower console formed along an interior surface of the seat bottom cushion.
MOBILE DEVICE HOLDING SYSTEM FOR A SEAT
A mobile device holding system for a vehicle is disclosed. The mobile device holding system includes a seat having a body, where the body of the seat defines an enclosure. The mobile device holding system further includes a mobile device holder moveable between a stowed position and a deployed position. The mobile device holder includes a holder base and a retractable arm. The holder base has one or more retaining members configured to secure a mobile device to the holder base. The holder base is stored within the enclosure of the seat when in the stowed position. The retractable arm defines a first end coupled to the seat and a second end coupled to the holder base. The retractable arm is configured to extend the holder base from the stowed position and into the deployed position to move the holder base out of the enclosure.
Apparatus and method of securing an item for transport in a vehicle
An apparatus and method are provided for securing an item for transport in a vehicle. The apparatus includes a tether anchor bezel, having a housing and a displaceable cover, a tether anchor held within the tether anchor bezel, and a hook carried on the displaceable cover.
VEHICLE AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A vehicle and a method of controlling the vehicle are provided. The vehicle may include: a speaker configured to output a sound into the vehicle; a detector configured to measure internal environment information representing an environment inside the vehicle and a noise factor determining a noise generated in the vehicle; and a controller configured to determine a tuning value based on a type of sound, to adjust the tuning value to correspond to at least one of the internal environment information or the noise factor, to adjust the sound by adjusting at least one of a size or a phase based on the adjusted tuning value, and to control the speaker to output the adjusted sound.
Systems and methods for monitoring the health of vehicle passengers using camera images
Systems and methods for monitoring the health of vehicle passengers using images of the passengers taken by onboard imaging devices (e.g., digital cameras), determining health data (e.g., vital signs) on-board the passenger vehicle using the images, and communicating (in one or more instances) with a remote telemedical monitoring system to determine medical information regarding the passengers and/or enable communication with a medical caregiver for diagnosis and treatment. The system may be especially useful in larger passenger vehicles, such as commercial aircraft, to monitor the health of all or most of the passengers but may also be used in other passenger vehicles including passenger trains, buses, ships, boats and automobiles. In one or more instances, the systems and methods primarily utilize images to determine health data (e.g., vital signs) of the passengers, such that the health data is obtained without physically contacting the passengers (contactless), as opposed to typical vital sign devices which physically contact a person.
Accessory Pocket with Resilient Arm
A vehicle accessory has an arm extending from a pocket. The arm preferably has sides which can flex and then push outwardly to assist in mechanical retention between seats of a vehicle to locate the pocket in front of a seat. The pocket may have at least three sides extending upwardly relative to a bottom, if not more, and accessory may be manufactured from a single planar sheet bent to shape.
Acoustic processing device, acoustic processing method, and recording medium
An acoustic processing device performs acoustic processing in a space having a first listening position and a second listening position apart from the first listening position. The acoustic processing device includes a first input unit, a first output unit, and a signal processing circuit. The first input unit receives a first sound source signal to be reproduced at the first listening position. The first sound source signal includes a first left-channel signal and a first right-channel signal. The first output unit outputs the first sound source signal to a first speaker group including a first speaker disposed near a place of a head of a listener at the first listening position. The signal processing circuit draws out a first common signal common to both the first left-channel signal and the first right-channel signal and outputs the first common signal to the first speaker.
Loudspeaker assembly for a vehicle
A loudspeaker assembly for a vehicle includes an enclosure arranged to be positioned outside of a passenger compartment of the vehicle adjacent a first vehicle body panel. The enclosure has a front side, a rear side, a top portion and a substantially enclosed bottom portion, where the top portion includes an outer wall structure. A loudspeaker is mounted in the enclosure and configured to generate an acoustic signal to be radiated into the passenger compartment through an opening in a second vehicle body panel. The enclosure may include a plurality of ribs extending between the loudspeaker and the outer wall structure. A barrier may be disposed within the top portion inward of the outer wall structure and substantially surrounding the loudspeaker. The ribs and the barrier damp high frequencies to reduce propagation of high-frequency noise toward the passenger compartment.
System of optimizing activation degree of occupant of vehicle
A system of optimizing an activation degree of an occupant of a vehicle, the system including: a speaker configured to play music for the occupant; and a controller configured to: determine whether an activation degree detected by an detector is in an appropriate state set in advance; and actuate the speaker to play music when determined that the activation degree of the occupant is not in the appropriate state, the music being selected in advance, being unique to the occupant, arousing pleasant emotion of the occupant, and being high tempo music having a tempo equal to or higher than a predetermined tempo or low tempo music having a tempo equal to or lower than a predetermined tempo.
INFORMATION DISPLAY DEVICE
An information display device attachable to a structure includes a display panel and a surface member. The display panel has a display surface and displays information on the display surface. The surface member is disposed on the display surface side of the display panel and is in a state where only the information displayed on the display surface of the display panel is visible through the surface member when the display panel is turned on. The surface member includes a first layer disposed on a front side, and a second layer that is disposed on the display panel side with respect to the first layer and adjusts light transmittance of the surface member.
