Off-road wheeled side-by-side vehicle
A vehicle includes a frame, front and rear wheels, a motor, and a driver seat. A passenger seat disposed side-by-side with the driver seat has a seat base that is pivotable about a horizontal pivot axis between a seating position where it extends horizontally and a storage position. A retaining surface having a seating position groove and a storage position groove is fixed with respect to one of the seat base and the frame. A retaining member fixed with respect to another of the seat base and the frame is complementary to the grooves. The retaining member is received in the storage position groove when the seat base is in the storage position, thereby retaining the seat base in the storage position. The retaining member is received in the seating position groove when the seat base is in the seating position, thereby retaining the seat base in the seating position.
Truck bed with selectively actuated magnetic floor sections
A pick-up truck bed having controllably magnetized areas for retaining cargo or attachment devices. A first permanent magnet may be attached below the lower surface of the truck bed with a second permanent being rotatable relative to the first permanent magnet to control the magnetic flux provided to retain objects in the truck bed. Alternatively, one or more electromagnets may be provided that may be turned on to retain objects in the truck bed and turned off to allow removal of objects.
Foldable attachment system and a vehicle comprising a foldable attachment system
A foldable attachment system arranged for holding objects within an interior vehicle luggage compartment. The attachment system includes an attachment post, an elongated guide member, and a hook structure, where the hook structure is connected to the attachment post. A first end of the attachment post is slidingly and hingedly connected to the elongated guide member, and the elongated guide member is configured to be connected to a first vehicle interior structure. The attachment post and the hook structure are movably arranged in relation to the elongated guide member between a storage position and an in-use position.
Sound generating apparatus for vehicles and vehicle including the same
A sound generating apparatus for vehicles may include a sound generator including a sound generating member configured to vibrate a vehicle interior material of a vehicle. The sound generating member may include a plurality of vibration generator spaced apart from one another, a first protection member at a first surface of the plurality of vibration generators, and a second protection member at a second surface opposite to the first surface of the plurality of vibration generators.
Support structure for on-vehicle high voltage component
A support structure for supporting a flat inverter located between seats aligned along the vehicle width direction is provided. A bracket supports the inverter in a horizontal position above a floor tunnel of a floor between the seats in a passenger compartment such that it is spaced apart from the floor tunnel. The bracket has a pair of rear leg portions aligned along the vehicle width direction. Middle parts of the pair of rear leg portions are formed so as to be easily bent outward or inward in the vehicle width direction. When a load is applied to the bracket due to movement of the seats during a side impact on the vehicle, the pair of rear leg portions bend, and the horizontal position of the inverter is disrupted.
Off-road wheeled side-by-side vehicle having a storage space
A vehicle includes a frame, at least two front wheels and at least two rear wheels operatively connected thereto, and a motor operatively connected to the wheels. A cockpit area includes a cockpit floor extending between a left end and a right end. A roll cage connected to the frame is disposed at least in part over the cockpit area. A driver seat connected to the frame and disposed in the cockpit area includes a driver seat base. A passenger seat connected to the frame and disposed in the cockpit area includes a passenger seat base. The passenger seat is disposed side-by-side with the driver seat. A storage space is defined at least in part by the cockpit floor and the driver seat base. The storage space is disposed under the driver seat base, and extends continuously laterally between the left end and the right end of the cockpit floor.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle which can provide more accommodation space for articles on a vehicular body frame is provided. A rear cab mount on which a cab of a hydraulic excavator is mounted is mounted on a revolving frame and forms a hollow rear under-mount space. An opening portion is formed at a position corresponding to a side of the rear under-mount space in an exterior cover which laterally covers the revolving frame. A rear door body can open and close the opening portion. The rear door body opens the rear under-mount space to an external space with the opening portion being opened.
Adaptable equipment mounting system for a vehicle
An adaptable equipment mounting platform in a vehicle application wherein a fixed equipment configuration is to be secured therein to provide a mobile use configuration. A universal mounting frame having multiple fixed vehicle mounting points that conform to the vehicle's required safe drill access areas provides correspondingly adjustable equipment attachment fasteners. The mounting frame therefore allows for a variety of different equipment configurations to be installed in a commercial vehicle that heretofore were unavailable due to their structural design that limited the areas in which safe mounting could occur.
Temporary platform brake for a vehicle
A platform for use with a temporary or auxiliary brake in a vehicle. An upper portion of the platform has a raised wall and stabilization flanges. The temporary or auxiliary brake is mounted on the raised wall. The raised wall is spaced from a floorboard of the vehicle. The stabilization flanges engage the floorboard to stabilize the upper portion. An extension plate, joined with a specialized and flexible weld, extends from the upper portion to provide increased stabilization of the platform and maintain the platform and the temporary or auxiliary brake in position on the floorboard of the vehicle, allowing the platform to fit virtually any year, make, or model of vehicle. The use of the platform and the temporary or auxiliary brake does not require drilling or deformation of the vehicle.
OFF-ROAD WHEELED SIDE-BY-SIDE VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a frame, a left and right front wheel, and a left and right rear wheel. A left front suspension operatively and a right front suspension operatively respectively operatively connect the left and right front wheels to the frame. A left and right rear suspension, respectively operatively connect the left and right rear wheels to the frame. At least one seat, connected to the frame and having a seat base, is disposed longitudinally rearward of the left and right front suspensions. An engine is operatively connected to at least one of the wheels. An air induction system fluidly, which includes an airbox, and a fuel tank fluidly communicate with the engine. The engine, the airbox and the fuel tank are disposed longitudinally forward of the rear suspensions and longitudinally rearward of the seat base of the at least one seat.
