Other embodiments are also disclosed.

VEHICLE SIDE MIRROR WITH VIDEO DISPLAY AND AUTOMATIC CAMERA SYSTEM
20220203898 · 2022-06-30 ·

An automatic side mirror camera system for a vehicle where the camera system eliminates blind spots. The vehicle side mirror has a built-in video display portion, enabling drivers to see both the mirror and the camera display at the same time. A camera is housed inside the side mirror housing, and turns on automatically when the turn signal is turned on by the driver. The automatic side mirror camera system may also be connected to a backup camera, and automatically display the view from the backup camera whenever the vehicle is in reverse. The automatic side mirror camera system may also be connected to one or more proximity sensors located on the vehicle so that the camera display turns on automatically if one of the proximity sensors is triggered.

Systems and methods for a piezoelectric diaphragm transducer for automotive microphone applications

Systems and methods for a transducer assembly for a vehicle having a resonating surface. The transducer assembly comprising a housing, a spacer connected to the housing, and a piezoelectric assembly disposed between the spacer and the housing. The spacer is configured to connect to the resonating surface to form an air gap between the resonating surface and the piezoelectric assembly.

Vehicular driver monitoring system

A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior rearview mirror assembly disposed in a vehicle and including a mirror reflective element. A camera is disposed at the interior rearview mirror assembly and views a driver sitting at a driver seat of the equipped vehicle. The camera is operable to capture image data. A control includes a vision system-on-a-chip image processor that processes image data captured by the camera. The control, via processing at the vision system-on-a-chip image processor of image data captured by the camera, determines driver movement. The vehicular driver monitoring system generates an output responsive at least in part to the determined driver movement.

DEVICE FOR DISPLAYING LATERAL REAR IMAGES OF VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREFOR

A device for displaying lateral rear images of a vehicle using a room mirror for a vehicle, includes: a smart room mirror 10 equipped with a camera sensor 11 for recognizing a driver's gesture and a motion sensor 12 for recognizing a driver's 3D gesture; camera modules 310, 410 for capturing vehicle lateral rear images, installed in left and right side-view mirrors 30, 40 of a vehicle 20; and a central processing device 60 for controlling to store, compare and analyze image information from the camera modules 310, 410 installed in the left and right side-view mirrors 30, 40, respectively, and image information from the camera sensor 11 and the motion sensor 12 of the smart room mirror 10, the central processing device 60 controlling to access a black box 50 and a communication module 51 and receive images stored in the black box 50.

Mounting part structure of external detection sensor for vehicle

A mounting part structure of an external detection sensor for a vehicle includes a sensor cover. A front portion of the sensor cover is locked to the sensor bracket via a front locking part that restricts displacement in a vertical direction of the vehicle when displacement of the sensor cover in forward and rearward directions of the vehicle and a vehicle width direction and rotation thereof around an axis following the vehicle width direction are allowed. A rear portion of the sensor cover is locked to the console bracket via a rear locking part that restricts displacement of the sensor cover in the vertical direction of the vehicle and the forward and rearward directions of the vehicle when displacement of the sensor cover in the vehicle width direction is allowed. The rear portion of the sensor cover is biased in the vehicle width direction by a rear spring part.
