Apparatus for controlling display mirror for vehicle
The apparatus for controlling a display mirror for a vehicle includes an operation mode determiner for determining an operation mode based on a position of a mirror assembly, the mirror assembly accommodating a display for displaying an image obtained by an imaging device within an inner space formed by a mirror coupled to a surface of a mirror housing; a power supply for supplying a power to the display; and a controller configured to adjust an intensity of the power supplied to the display based on the determined operation mode. The operation mode determiner determines between a first operation mode in which an image reflected by the mirror is visible to a driver and a second operation mode in which the image obtained by the imaging device is displayed on the display. In particular, the display remains turned on in the first operation mode and the second operation mode.
VEHICLE MIRROR RECORDING SYSTEM
The presently disclosed subject matter is generally directed to an audio and/or video recording system configured within a vehicle rear-view and/or side-view mirror. Advantageously, the disclosed system is configured to record criminal incidents and/or provide evidence after a wreck or other driving event has occurred. The vehicle mirror includes a front face comprising a reflective surface that is operably attached to a rear body. The mirror interior houses at least one camera capable of recording an event, such as a vehicle break-in. The camera spans at least one surface of the rear-view mirror, such that the camera lens is present on the mirror exterior. Because the majority of camera and associated electronics are housed within the vehicle interior, the perpetrator is unaware that he is being recorded.
Display control system
A display control system includes a coupling display unit coupled to a mobile device in a vehicle. The coupling display unit includes a disposition region which includes the mobile device and a display to receive information from the mobile device and to display an information region corresponding to the mobile device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CAPTURING AND DISPLAYING IMAGES FROM A VEHICLE/TRAILER CAMERA
An imaging and display system for use in a vehicle pulling a trailer, the system including: a trailer camera mounted on the trailer such that the camera is oriented to receive images from a first field of view having a horizontal angle and a vertical angle where the vertical angle is greater than the horizontal angle; an image processor for creating a back-up image and a rearward image from an image captured by the camera, the back-up image corresponding to a second field of view cropped from the lowest portion of the first field of view and the rearward image corresponding to a third field of view cropped from a portion of the first field of view above the lowest portion, the third field of view having a horizontal angle and a vertical angle where the horizontal angle is greater than the vertical angle.
Vehicle-mounted video system with distributed processing
A vehicle-mounted system for recording video and audio. The system uses distributed processing, including encoding the video and audio at their source(s), and a high-speed, e.g., Ethernet, bus connecting the various system components and external devices. The system may include a display monitor which is integrated into the same housing as a rear view mirror of the vehicle, with the display monitor being located behind the mirror and video displayed on the monitor being visible through the mirror.
Back view mirror device for vehicle, automatically adjustable back view mirror apparatus for vehicle and method for automatically adjusting position of back view mirror for vehicle
A back view mirror device for a vehicle, an automatically adjustable back view mirror apparatus for a vehicle and a method for automatically adjusting position of a back view mirror for a vehicle are provided. The back view mirror device includes: a back view mirror body; a translation actuating device configured to drive the back view mirror body to translate and position the back view mirror body in a translating direction; and a rotating actuating device configured to drive the back view mirror body to rotate and position the back view mirror body in a rotating direction.
Video display mirror and video display mirror system
A video display mirror is provided with a half mirror, a monitor, and an interlocking mechanism. The half mirror is used so that a vehicle passenger can look toward the rear of the vehicle. The monitor is disposed near the half mirror toward the front of the vehicle. The interlocking mechanism moves in relation to a video image being displayed on the monitor and changes the angle of a reflection surface of the half mirror from the position of the half mirror when the rear of the vehicle is viewed.
System and process for viewing in blind spots
There is disclosed a viewing system coupled to a motor vehicle having a frame having a roof, at least one support, and a body with the at least one support supporting the roof over the body. The system can comprise at least one camera, at least one screen coupled to the support. In addition, each camera is coupled to the at least one support and wherein said at least one screen is in communication with the first set of cameras, wherein said at least one screen displays images presented by the first set of cameras. This device can provide additional view in the blind spot of the vehicle.
INFOTAINMENT DEVICE, INFOTAINMENT SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD, AND VEHICULAR ELECTRONIC SYSTEM COMPRISING INFOTAINMENT DEVICE
Disclosed is an infotainment device. The infotainment device comprises: a connector detachably attached to a slot disposed in a vehicle; at least one auxiliary antenna electrically connected to a main antenna arranged on the outside of the vehicle; a first communication circuit capable of performing communication for an infotainment service by using the main antenna and the at least one auxiliary antenna; a second communication circuit capable of performing communication with a head unit device installed in the vehicle; and a processor functionally connected to the connector, the at least one auxiliary antenna, the first communication circuitry, and the second communication circuitry, wherein the processor may be configured to: acquire a signal for the infotainment service by using the first communication circuit; and output the acquired signal using a speaker or a display which is functionally connected to the head unit device, through the second communication circuit; In addition, various embodiments recognized through the specification are possible.
