Portable trifold organizer
A portable trifold organizer adapted for attachment to an automobile sun visor having a plurality of pockets, a plurality of compartments with elastic straps for securing items within the compartments, and two bifolds to facilitate the trifold design. The plurality of pockets and plurality of compartments have various dimensions to accommodate articles selected for storage, and the two bifolds may have spacer regions to enhance storage capacity of the organizer. The plurality of elastic straps within the compartments has various dimensions to secure a variety of items within the organizer. The trifold design allows the organizer to fold into a size that provides for storage in an automobile door pocket storage compartment. An elastic strap with Velcro end secures the organizer in its folded position by wrapping around the body of the folded organizer and attaching to a Velcro attachment patch on the rear side of the organizer.
Permit holder for a vehicle sun visor
The permit holder for a vehicle sun visor is configured for use with a vehicle. The permit holder for a vehicle sun visor attaches a parking placard to a sun visor within the vehicle. The parking placard may be: 1) stored in a non-visible manner during the operation of vehicle; and, 2) positioned in a visible manner when the vehicle is parked. The permit holder for a vehicle sun visor comprises a visor clip, a master shaft, a master clip, and a plurality of pivots. The master clip attaches to the parking placard. The master shaft attaches the master clip to the plurality of pivots. The plurality of pivots attaches the master shaft to the visor clip. The visor clip attaches to the sun visor. The plurality of pivots are arranged such that the orientation of the placard is adjustable.
BIOMETRIC AUTHENTICATION FOR CONNECTED VEHICLES INCLUDING AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
A biometric authorization apparatus and method for a vehicle. A visor is connected to an interior cabin of a vehicle, and a biometric authentication interface is associated with the visor. The biometric authentication interface includes one or more biometric readers for scanning the biometric identifier(s) provided by a user. The biometric authentication interface facilitates analysis and processing of data associated with the biometric identifier(s) for use in authorizing the user with respect to the vehicle and optionally to also access an electronic system associated with the vehicle. The vehicle can be, for example, an autonomous vehicle and the user may be a passenger of the autonomous vehicle or in the case of a connected vehicle, a driver or a passenger. In some situations, the vehicle may be a rideshare vehicle and the user may be authorized (or not) for a rideshare trip in the vehicle.
Vehicle intercom system
A vehicle intercom system is provided. The system includes one or more housings. Each housing includes a speaker, a microphone, and a lighting element. At least one housing is secured to the exterior of a vehicle via a fastener. In one embodiment, the exterior housing is adjacent to the vehicle mirrors. At least one housing is securable within the vehicle's cabin via a fastener. The speakers are operably connected to the microphone. The one or more housings are in wireless communication with one another and all housings are in wireless communication with an actuator. The actuator is securable to an internal surface of the vehicle cabin. The actuator is configured to activate the speaker and the microphone on each housing to enable two-way audible communication, allowing the driver or passengers to easily communicate with individuals located outside of the vehicle.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An electronic device includes a dimming structure, a control unit, a plurality of sensors and an angle sensor. The control unit is electrically connected to the dimming structure. The plurality of sensors are electrically connected to the control unit, and output a sensing result based on a plurality of sensing values sensed by the sensors. The angle sensor is electrically connected to the control unit, and senses a rotation angle of the dimming structure. Based on the sensing result and the rotation angle, the control unit outputs a voltage to the dimming structure.
Navigation Display Assembly
A navigation display assembly includes a display unit which has a pair of clamps that can releasably engage a visor in a vehicle to position the display unit in front of a driver of the vehicle. The display unit includes a first panel extending downwardly from the display unit and a second panel hingedly coupled to the display unit. The second panel is positionable at an adjustable angle with respect to the first panel and the display unit projects an image onto the second panel. In this way the second panel reflects the image onto the first panel to facilitate the driver to view the image without taking their eyes off of the road while driving.
VEHICLE DOCUMENTATION ORGANIZERS/VISORS & SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are vehicle documentation organizers/visors and systems. In one embodiment, a vehicle documentation system includes an instruction card, having indicia disposed thereon; a vehicle documentation organizer/visor, including one or more compartments for insertion of documentation; and a computer-readable code, disposed on one of the instruction card or the a vehicle documentation organizer/visor, the computer-readable code including a portion attachable to a vehicle, with the computer-readable code being scannable and associated with a database. Information from the database may be contained in mobile application, having one or more user interfaces.
SAFETY MIRROR AND MOTOR VEHICLE
A safety mirror for a motor vehicle includes at least one sun visor including a mirror element in a folded down position; and at least one camera or monitoring system including at least one camera for taking images of an area behind and adjacent to the motor vehicle; and at least one camera mount for attaching the camera to the motor vehicle, where the safety mirror includes the mirror element and at least one attachment structure for selectively attaching the safety mirror to the sun visor or the camera mount. A motor vehicle includes such a safety mirror.
VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
A virtual image display device is provided with a portable terminal holding unit, a combiner and base unit. The portable terminal holding unit detachably holds a portable terminal equipped with a display for displaying a guide image. The combiner reflects the light of the guide image displayed by the portable terminal to let an observer visually recognize the image as a virtual image. The base unit is connected to the portable terminal holding unit and the combiner.
Disabled tag handling system
A tag support assembly has a rectangular coupling section, a rectangular pivoting section, a pivot pin, and inverted L-shaped fingers. The coupling section is releasably coupled to a vehicle visor. The pivoting section has corner tabs. An opening is created for removable receipt of a disabled tag. The pivoting section removably receives the disabled tag. The pivot pin extends through the coupling section and the pivoting section facilitating pivoting of the pivoting section between a raised inoperative orientation and a lowered operative orientation 90 degrees from the raised inoperative orientation for allowing display of the disabled tag.
