PORTABLE TRANSPORT CONTAINER AND TRANSPORT CONTAINER HOLDER SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
A portable transport container includes at least one base panel and at least four side panels which are connected to one another with pivotable connections in order to enable a movement of the transport container at least between an open use position and a closed storage position. The at least one base panel and the four side panels are composed primarily of plastic. A plurality of reinforcing elements comprising plastic film are provided which are connected in a firmly bonded manner at least in sections contiguously near to the surface either to the base panel or to one of the four side panels. A transport container holder system of a vehicle includes at least one such portable transport container and a trunk floor and/or a backseat bench of the vehicle, in which at least one open cavity for accommodating one of the portable transport containers is provided for each of the portable transport containers.
Cargo management system mechanism
In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a vehicle cargo management system includes a body and a plurality of dividers. The body has a first pair of opposing sides and a second pair of opposing sides. The body forms a recess between the first and second pairs of opposing sides. Each side of the first pair of opposing sides includes a groove system, and a plurality of tabs that are configured to move within the groove system. The plurality of dividers are disposed within the recess of the body. Each of the plurality of dividers extends between the first pair of opposing sides, and each of the plurality of dividers is coupled to a respective one of the tabs. Movement of one of the tabs within the groove system causes a respective one of the dividers to move within the recess of the body.
System to secure objects within a vehicle
A system that can secure one or more objects in a vehicle interior is herein presented. The system includes: a rail, quick-release fastener, and belt. The rail is configured to mount in the vehicle interior and includes multiple adjustment points. The quick-release fastener is configured to move along a portion of the rail and configured to releasably fasten to each of the adjustment points. The quick-release fastener also has a connection point. The belt includes two straps releasably fastened to each other by a buckle. The belt also has two opposing strap ends and each strap end is configured to fasten to the connection point. The belt is moreover configured to secure one or more objects within the vehicle interior.
ELECTRONIC STORAGE BOX FOR VEHICLES
The present invention provides an electronic box for a vehicle comprising: a storage housing having at least two tray brackets and a front aperture; a removable tray having (a) a channel having channel slots; (b) at least one engagement member that fits into the channel and (c) at least one latch mechanism; wherein (i) a tray slot is included in each of the at least two tray brackets; (ii) the at least one engagement member engages with the tray slots via the channel slots thereby forming a hinged mechanism when the electronic box in a closed configuration; and (iii) the at least one engagement member disengages with the tray slots when the electronic box is an opened configuration and allows the removable tray to open via the front aperture. The present invention also provides a method for attaching the above-described electronic box to a vehicle.
Adjustable Truck Compartment System
An example adjustable truck compartment is described. The truck compartment includes a first side wall including a first guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end, and a second side wall disposed opposite from the first side wall, the second side wall including a second guiding rail extending between a proximal end and a distal end of the second side wall. The truck compartment includes a rear wall coupled to the distal ends of the first and second side walls to define an enclosure between the first side wall, the second side wall, and the rear wall. The truck compartment includes a first divider panel configured to be received by the first and second guiding rails and within the enclosure in an orientation parallel to a floor of the enclosure to separate the enclosure into a first enclosure volume and a second enclosure volume.
CARGO MANAGEMENT SYSTEM MECHANISM
In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, a vehicle cargo management system includes a body and a plurality of dividers. The body has a first pair of opposing sides and a second pair of opposing sides. The body forms a recess between the first and second pairs of opposing sides. Each side of the first pair of opposing sides includes a groove system, and a plurality of tabs that are configured to move within the groove system. The plurality of dividers are disposed within the recess of the body. Each of the plurality of dividers extends between the first pair of opposing sides, and each of the plurality of dividers is coupled to a respective one of the tabs. Movement of one of the tabs within the groove system causes a respective one of the dividers to move within the recess of the body.
SYSTEM TO SECURE OBJECTS WITHIN A VEHICLE
A system that can secure one or more objects in a vehicle interior is herein presented. The system includes: a rail, quick-release fastener, and belt. Trunk Mounted Storage Rack for Sport Utility Vehicles
A trunk mounted storage rack for sport utility vehicles (SUV) securely restrains grocery bags and prevents damage to fragile items contained therein. The trunk mounted storage rack includes a top shelf, a bottom shelf, a top lip, a bottom lip, a top-level barrier, an intermediate support frame, and a barrier support wall. The top shelf and the bottom shelf are sized to closely fit in the trunk of the SUV. The intermediate support frame suspends the top shelf over the bottom shelf. The barrier support wall allows the top-level barrier to mount to the top shelf and prevent items from falling from the top shelf into the rear seat compartment when the SUV turns or brakes.
Cargo Containment System for a Vehicle
A cargo container configured to fit in a passenger vehicle is disclosed. Embodiments of the container is configured with attachments for attaching to the lip of the opening of a trunk or a hatchback, thereby sealing a substantial portion of the area of the opening. The sealing configuration effectively prevents contamination of the vehicle during loading of the container. Embodiments of the container may also include a lip configured to drape over the bumper of the vehicle during loading. Once loaded, the container may be closed and secured.
Internal vehicle docking arm and storage
A lift assembly for a vehicle includes a bracket configured to be fixed to the vehicle. A lift arm is pivotally coupled to the bracket. A mating structure is supported by the lift arm. The mating structure is configured to lift a personal mobility device and includes an electrical connector for electrically mating to an electrical connector of the personal mobility device.
