VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE AND VEHICLE
A vehicle display device includes a display and a moving device. The display is formed in an elongate shape. The moving device moves the display between a lower position at a vehicle width direction central portion of an instrument panel of a vehicle, and an upper position at a vehicle upper side of the lower position. In the lower position the moving device orients the longitudinal direction of the display along a vehicle vertical direction. In the upper position the moving device orients the longitudinal direction of the display along a vehicle width direction.
VISUAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE, AND A METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING SUCH SYSTEM
A visual recognition system for a vehicle, comprising a plastic capping and an electronic module positioned near an internal face of the plastic capping; said electronic module comprising a sealed housing, a printed circuit board positioned inside the housing, and an optical sensor positioned inside the housing and connected to the printed circuit board; wherein the housing comprises at least one transparent part which is placed in front of the optical sensor and is transparent to visible light; wherein the plastic capping comprises at least one portion which forms a first optical lens placed in front of the optical sensor and the transparent part; and wherein the optical sensor is designed to capture an image outside the vehicle through the transparent part and the first optical lens. A method for implementing such system is also described.
Support device for an air guiding means of a vehicle
A support device for an air guiding means of a vehicle includes a basic body and at least one adjustment device fastened to the basic body, the adjustment device configured to adjust the air guiding means in a Z direction. The at least one adjustment device has at least one adjustment element which is mounted displaceably in a guide device of the adjustment device. The at least one adjustment element has an adjuster for displacing the adjustment element from a first Z position into a second Z position. The at least one adjustment element has a fastening interface for fastening to a drive unit for moving the air guiding means.
CAMERA UNIT AND OCCUPANT MONITORING SYSTEM
A camera unit is housed and attached in an internal space of a pillar, the camera unit including a plurality of modules that executes respective functions regarding camera imaging, and a housing having a dimension in such a manner that an outer shape of the housing around a longitudinal direction of the housing is accommodated in the internal space, the modules being mounted on the housing without protruding from the outer shape.
VEHICLE VISUAL RECOGNITION DEVICE
An imaging device is provided with a rigid member that extends toward a vehicle width direction outside, and a styling case that covers the rigid member. A first rib that projects toward a base portion of the rigid member is provided to the styling case. A projection leading end of the first rib is capable of abutting the rigid member. The rigid member is reinforced by the styling case when the projection leading end of the first rib abuts the rigid member, enabling the rigidity of the imaging device against load to be increased.
IMAGING UNIT SUPPORT APPARATUS
A dynamically deployable side-view camera mount includes a support body that is movable between a deployed position and a retracted position. The support body in the retracted position allows the camera to at least partially include the angular range captured when the support body is in the deployed position.
TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE PANEL WITH DISPLAY FUNCTIONALITY
A transportation vehicle trim with display functionality having a light shade unit with at least one window section which is transparent at least area by area in the visible wavelength area for a transillumination, and a functional unit having at least one illuminant or at least one illuminant and one input unit, wherein the functional unit is formed as a basic module having a self-contained, water-tight housing, in the interior of which the at least one illuminant and the input unit are arranged, wherein the basic module is mechanically connected to the light shade unit. A front side of the housing of the basic module facing a viewing side of the light shade unit may be smaller than an area across which backlit information areas of the transportation vehicle trim extend. Individual light exit areas of the basic module are coupled via light guiding elements to the backlit information areas.
Vehicle with an integrated sawhorse
An apparatus for a vehicle including a vehicle bed having a wall with a recess formed therein. The apparatus comprises a sawhorse adapted for positioning in the recess of the vehicle bed in a stowed position and removed for use apart from the vehicle. A vehicle with an integrated sawhorse may thus be provided. Related methods are also provided.
MOUNTING STRUCTURE OF CAMERA
A mounting structure of a camera, includes: a camera configured to image an image corresponding to at least a part of surroundings of a vehicle; and a decorative member configured to be mounted on an exterior component of the vehicle and to cover the camera, wherein: the decorative member closely contacts the exterior component, and covers the camera in such a manner that the camera is not disturbed to image the image; and the camera is disposed in a region of an inside of the decorative member from an external surface of the decorative member.
Vehicle entertainment table unit and cradle
A vehicle entertainment system includes a tablet unit and a cradle. The tablet unit includes a display and a touch screen input device disposed on a front surface, a first electrical connection, a first mounting mechanism, and a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver is configured to receive media data from a wireless network and the touch screen input device is configured to receive input from a user. The cradle is disposed in a headrest in a vehicle and includes a second electrical connection and a second mounting mechanism. The tablet unit is electrically connected to the cradle via the first and second electrical connections, and is physically coupled to the cradle via the first and second mounting mechanisms upon mounting the tablet unit to the cradle.
