EXTERNAL SENSOR ATTACHMENT PORTION STRUCTURE
In an external sensor attachment portion structure of the present invention, an external sensor includes: a sensor main body including a detection unit that detects external information; a sensor attachment bracket used to attach the sensor main body to a vehicle body frame member; and a sensor garnish including a window portion through which the detection unit is exposed in front view. The sensor garnish is provided on an outer side of the host vehicle so as to expose the detection unit of the external sensor and cover the sensor main body and the sensor attachment bracket excluding the detection unit. Small gaps are provided between the sensor main body and a window frame of the window portion in the sensor garnish. The window frame includes a noise suppression portion that suppresses wind noise due to airflow passing through the gaps along a rearward direction of the host vehicle.
Interior mirror base arrangement for a motor vehicle
An interior mirror base arrangement for a motor vehicle has a base for an interior mirror which can be permanently fastened to a windshield of the motor vehicle adjacent to a roof liner, a cover element which is movably mounted on the base, and a fastener, by which the cover element can be fastened to the roof liner.
RECEIVING SYSTEM FOR RECEIVING AT LEAST ONE GUIDED DEVICE, AND AN ELECTRIC MODULE, AS WELL AS A MOTOR VEHICLE
A receiving system for receiving at least one guided device, in particular an electric unit, in an instrument mount of a motor vehicle. The invention also relates to an electric module, which comprises a receiving system and a guided device, as well as a motor vehicle, which includes a receiving system or an electric module. The receiving system includes a receiving unit for spatially receiving the guided device in the receiving system, as well as a guide for implementing a guided slide-in movement of the guided device, in particular the electric unit, into the receiving unit. The guide is fixed in relation to the receiving unit and defines a nonlinear movement path, so that the guided device may be oriented in a first spatial orientation on an outside of the receiving system facing a driver of a motor vehicle.
ULTRASONIC SENSOR
An ultrasonic sensor is provided with a sensor body, a cushion member, a retainer part and a waterproof seal. The sensor body has an ultrasonic microphone and a microphone support part. The cushion member covers a protrusion part of the ultrasonic microphone. The retainer part sandwiches a sandwiched part on a proximal end side between the retainer part and an outer peripheral surface of the ultrasonic microphone, while exposing an exposed part on a tip end side in the axial direction of the cushion member. The waterproof seal blocks a gap between a vehicle body component and the exposed part of the cushion member in an on-board state.
CAB CHASSIS VEHICLE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING
A cab chassis vehicle and a method of assembling a cab-chassis vehicle are provided. A chassis is sub-assembled by connecting a mounting bracket for a truck body to a frame rail via a fastener, installing a chassis-side vehicle harness, and installing a chassis-side body wiring harness. A cab is sub-assembled by installing a connector plate to cover an aperture on an outer panel of the cab, installing a cab-side body wiring harness, connecting the cab-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, and installing a cab-side vehicle harness. The cab is assembled to the chassis to provide a cab-chassis vehicle by connecting the chassis-side body wiring harness to the connector plate, connecting the chassis-side vehicle harness to the cab-side vehicle harness.
Vehicle cup holder cell phone mount
A vehicle cup holder cell phone mount has a base with a downwardly and inwardly tapering surface of rotation around a vertical axis. A pier stands up from a top of the base and a cell phone mounting bracket is pivotally mounted to the pier. The cell phone mounting bracket has adjustable jaws to fit cell phones of varying widths. The jaws always define an opening for a cell phone power/communications cable. One or more of a plurality of shells may be selectively assembled to the base. Each shell has a tapering surface of rotation around the axis. The shells are of different sizes. The user assembles from zero to (n) shells to the base, Russian-doll fashion, so as to optimally fit a particular vehicle cup holder. The user then wedges the assembly into the vehicle cup holder such that compressive force between the outermost tapering surface and the cup holder side wall securely holds the cell phone mount in place in the vehicle cup holder.
Securement device for use in vehicles
A securement device for use in a vehicle. The device includes a retainer for holding or storing an object such as a firearm. The device utilizes an inflatable pillow to hold the device in position in the vehicle. It also includes an attachment that couples to the retainer and allows for adjustment of the orientation of the retainer.
VEHICLE SENSOR SYSTEMS
Vehicle sensor systems include modular sensor kits having one or more pods (e.g., sensor roof pods) and/or one or more bumpers (e.g., sensor bumpers). The sensor roof pods are configured to couple to a vehicle. A sensor roof pod may be positioned atop a vehicle proximate a front of the vehicle, proximate a back of the vehicle, or at any position along a top side of the vehicle being coupled, for example, using a mounting shim or a tripod. The sensor roof pods can include sensors (e.g., LIDAR sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, etc.), processing units, control systems (e.g., temperature and/or environmental control systems), and communication devices (e.g., networking and/or wireless devices).
Mounting bracket for seatback in-vehicle entertainment
A mounting bracket for seatback in-vehicle entertainment including: a base bracket including posts and a hinge mount; a first inner bracket including grooves corresponding to the posts and, when each of the posts is received in its corresponding groove, a first opening for a first headrest post is formed and a second opening for a second headrest post is formed; a second inner bracket including openings corresponding to the posts, a third opening overlapping the first opening and a fourth opening overlapping the second opening; and a cover including fifth and sixth openings and, when the cover is disposed over the second inner bracket, first inner bracket and base bracket, the fifth opening overlaps the third and first openings to permit the first headrest post to pass therethrough and the sixth opening overlaps the fourth and second openings to permit the second headrest post to pass therethrough.
HOLDER DEVICE
A holder device for a rear-view and/or display device of a motor vehicle having at least one holder plate fixed to a panel or plate-like object, and having at least one securing foot, which is or can be detachably arranged on the holder plate wherein by at least one retaining means fixed to the securing foot or at least partially surrounding the securing foot, which is or can be fixed to a vehicle component spaced apart from the holder plate, which limits a movement of the securing foot in a state in which it is at least partially detached from the holder plate in form fitting and/or force-locking manner
