Representative implementations of devices and techniques provide a spline attachment assembly to mount and to support an implement (such as a handgun, for example) or an implement holster (such as a handgun holster, for example), or the like, in a variety of configurations. The spline attachment assembly includes a base having a receiver and a post having a shaft, the shaft arranged to be inserted into the receiver to removably couple the post to the base.

Disclosed is a coupling system for coupling an accessory to a mount. Included is a mount comprising a mount end for mounting on a mounting surface and a coupling end comprising a first coupling arrangement, and an accessory coupleable to mount. The accessory comprising a second coupling arrangement disposed on a surface. The first and second coupling arrangement comprising coupling elements configured to guide accessory into a coupling orientation relative to mount, to maintain coupling orientation through a coupling/decoupling operation and to couple accessory to mount in a coupled configuration. First set of coupling elements comprise formations disposed on one of first and second coupling arrangements and complementary formations disposed on the other of first and second coupling arrangements. The formations receivable by and abuttable with complementary formations in a non-retaining arrangement to maintain coupling orientation through coupling/decoupling operation and to inhibit rotational movement of mount relative to accessory.

An automobile visor organizer is taught which includes an area for storing a mobile device, an identification card, and a document. The mobile device storage area includes means for removably affixing a mobile device thereto. The invention includes a hook for removably holding an identification card, and a document aperture for storing a document therein. The invention includes a document guide on its backside for supporting the inserted document. The invention also includes a wireless charging pad with the mobile device storage area.

Disclosed is a coupling system for coupling an accessory to a mount. Included is a mount comprising a mount end for mounting on a mounting surface and a coupling end comprising a first coupling arrangement, and an accessory coupleable to mount. The accessory comprising a second coupling arrangement disposed on a surface. The first and second coupling arrangement comprising coupling elements configured to guide accessory into a coupling orientation relative to mount maintain coupling orientation through a coupling/decoupling operation and to couple accessory to mount in a coupled configuration. First set of coupling elements comprise formations disposed on one of first and second coupling arrangements and complementary formations disposed on the other of first and second coupling arrangements. The formations receivable by and abuttable with complementary formations in a non-retaining arrangement to maintain coupling orientation through coupling/decoupling operation and to inhibit rotational movement of mount relative to accessory.

A system for securing a user device in a vehicle includes a magnet and an attraction plate. One of the magnet or the attraction plate is mechanically coupled to the vehicle, and the other of the magnet or the attraction plate is mechanically coupled to the user device. The magnet is selectively activated to hold the attraction plate and, thereby, secure the user device to the vehicle.

In certain embodiments, a mobile entertainment system includes a screen assembly with a display and a signal generating device. A housing pivotally coupled to the screen assembly can have a lower portion, an upper portion, and a housing cavity sized and shaped to receive the screen assembly. The upper portion can receive at least a portion of the signal generating device. At least a portion of the screen assembly can rotate through an opening in the lower portion. A shell can receive the housing.

A holder device includes a first joint portion, and a second joint portion. One of the first joint portion and the second joint portion is movable in a directions toward and away from the other of the first joint portion and the second joint portion, and the one of the first joint portion and the second joint portion is urged by an urging member to a side where the one of the first joint portion and the second joint portion contacts the other of the first joint portion and the second joint portion. The one of the first joint portion and the second joint portion is provided with an operating portion that moves the one of the first joint portion and the second joint portion in the direction away from the other of the first joint portion and the second joint portion against an urging force of the urging member.

A hands-free mount for a mobile device. An example hands-free mount includes a first magnetic attachment for combining with the mobile device, and a second mating magnetic attachment for combining with the first magnetic attachment. In an example, the hands-free mount includes a housing for the second mating magnetic attachment. A strap may be fitted through the opening in the housing to secure the housing to an object for attaching the mobile device to the object via magnetic connection of the first magnetic attachment on the mobile device to the second mating magnetic attachment of the housing. An example hands-free mount may also include a kickstand on the housing. The kickstand in the open position supports the mobile device in a substantially upright position. The kickstand folds into the closed position for carrying the mobile device.

The disclosure relates to a universal holder assembly for mobile terminal equipment, for both physically holding and supporting same and for electrically recharging said mobile terminal equipment. This is achieved by a holder assembly comprising either a housing designed with a base surface, said housing having an interior designed to hold mobile terminal equipment, or an adapter element designed with a base surface that can be mechanically and physically connected to a mobile device, the inner and outer faces of the base surface being provided with electrical contact means which are designed and arranged such that an electrical connection can be established between mobile terminal equipment that can be positioned against or on the base surface and the contact means designed on the outer face. The outer face of the base surface is also provided with at least two recesses or depressions, each designed to physically receive an engagement means.

A latch system for selectively coupling an object such as a seat or an accessory to a vehicle is disclosed having an object having a pair of rear legs each having a latch and a pair of front legs, each of the legs having a floor-engaging member having an upper surface and a pair of side surfaces. The floor has a pair of forward-front integral coupling members configured to slidably accept and engage the pair of front legs floor-engaging members, and two pair of rear-side integral coupling members positioned adjacent to both of the rear legs floor engaging members. Each latch positioned on each of the rear legs is configured to releasably engage two of the rear-side integral coupling members.
