Headliner system and method
A headliner system includes a plurality of segments connected together and outlining a central opening and a central section received in the central opening. The central section is selected from a group of central sections consisting of a multisection panel incorporating an overhead airbag grid system, a panel incorporating a fold down display panel and a panel incorporating a pull down divider.
Energy absorber between vehicle roof and headliner
An assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle roof and a headliner supported by the vehicle roof. The assembly includes an energy absorber between the headliner and the vehicle roof. The energy absorber includes a wall extending transversely to the headliner and the vehicle roof. The wall includes a lattice structure including a repeating pattern of strips and open cells.
VEHICLE INTERIOR PANEL WITH ONE OR MORE DAMPING PADS
In at least some implementations, a panel for a vehicle includes a base having an interior surface and an exterior surface, and at least one damping pad having a first surface secured to the exterior surface of the base and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The at least one damping pad has a thickness measured between the first surface and the second surface, and the thickness of the at least one damping pad in an uncompressed state prior to installation into the vehicle is at least 5% greater than a thickness of the at least one damping pad in a compressed state when installed into the vehicle.
Vehicle interior component and method for manufacturing vehicle interior component
A vehicle interior component including a plurality of functional parts and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A headliner which is a vehicle interior component includes a sheet-like core member formed of a urethane foam. The headliner has a plurality of functional parts with different functions set in a plane of the headliner. The core member has an in-plane distribution of a characteristic of the urethane foam varied corresponding to the plurality of functional parts.
Operator cab for a work vehicle with reduced noise reflection
An operator cab for a work vehicle includes: a cab enclosure including a roof an operator chair disposed in the cab enclosure; at least one layer of noise-deadening material coupled to the roof; and a headliner coupled to the roof such that the at least one layer of noise-deadening material is at least partially disposed between the headliner and the roof. The headliner includes a noise-reflective material and a noise escape region that comprises at least one opening configured to allow sound waves to pass through the noise escape region into the at least one layer of noise-deadening material and reduce noise reflection by the headliner to the operator chair.
Upper interior structure of vehicle
In an upper interior structure of a vehicle of the present invention, a deployment guide portion for guiding a curtain airbag toward a cabin side when the curtain airbag is deployed. The deployment guide portion comprises a first guide part and a second guide part. The first guide part is arranged above a top ceiling and on an outward side, in a vehicle width direction, of the curtain airbag, facing an upper end portion of a pillar trim, so as to restrain the curtain airbag from being deployed outwardly in the vehicle width direction. The second guide part is arranged between the first guide part and the top ceiling, extending in a vertical direction, so as to restrain the curtain airbag from being deployed into a gap between the first guide part and the upper end portion of the pillar trim.
Bracket assembly
A bracket assembly comprises a body that includes a base that has a first end and a second end. The bracket assembly further includes a receiving member that is coupled to the first end of the base, and an engagement portion that is defined by the second end of the base. A support is operably coupled to the engagement portion between a raised position and a lowered position, and includes a retention tab that is proximate to the engagement portion.
VEHICLE HEADLINER SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING THE SAME
A headliner for use in a vehicle having a roof, the headliner including a sheet and a plurality of first snap portions adapted to couple with a plurality of corresponding second snap portions fixed to the vehicle roof to mount the sheet to an interior side the vehicle roof through the interaction of the plurality of first snap portions and the corresponding second snap portions. A method for installing a headliner on a vehicle roof structure includes providing a headliner comprising a sheet having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a plurality of first snap portions fixed to the sheet, and joining the plurality of first snap portions to a plurality of second snap portions fixed to the roof structure, the plurality of second snap portions adapted to couple with the plurality of first snap portions to mount the sheet to the interior side the vehicle roof structure.
