VEHICLE INTERIOR COMPONENT
A vehicle interior component includes an interior component body arranged along a vehicle body member with a face thereof exposed to a vehicle room and a display unit arranged at the interior component body to perform displaying for a passenger. The display unit is arranged at a range extending from a rear-side face section of the interior component body to an inner-side face section thereof.
APPARATUS WITH INTEGRAL CLIP FOR TAGS, TICKETS AND THE LIKE
An apparatus, a pillar trim panel and an A-pillar trim panel include an integral body having a lug and a margin outlining the lug. The margin and the lug extend in two different planes so as to define a slot. A spring clip is carried on the body behind the lug. A ticket, tag or the like may be inserted through the slot into the spring clip which defines a resilient object holder.
Vehicle trim assembly with interchangeable attachment features
A vehicle trim assembly includes a trim panel, which defines a retaining member that includes a connector and an engagement plate. The engagement plate has a width greater than a width of the connector. The engagement plate includes a locking arm. A first attachment feature is engageable with the retaining member in a first use condition. A second attachment feature is engageable with the retaining member in a second use condition. The first and second attachment features each include a base having a proximal support and a distal support, a clip coupled to the distal support and configured to engage a vehicle body, and guide features coupled to the proximal support. The guide features are configured to receive the engagement plate of the retaining member. A protrusion is coupled to the proximal support. The locking arm is configured to engage the protrusion to lock the base on the retaining member.
Multiple-part surface covering for the cladding of support structures and cladding part
A multiple-part surface covering for the cladding of support structures includes at least two surface covering parts, respective portion of a first and second surface covering parts, and a cover. The at least two surface covering parts are sewn to one another by way of a connecting seam. The respective portion of a first surface covering part and a respective portion of a second surface covering part form a seam overhang. The cover is sewn to the two surface covering parts by way of the connecting seam and covers the seam overhang. An edge strip core is arranged between the cover and the seam overhang.
Roof headliner structure in which curtain airbag for vehicle is housed
A roof headliner structure in which a curtain airbag for a vehicle is housed, includes the curtain airbag attached in a folded state along a roof side rail, a roof headliner, a pillar garnish including a clip seat, and a tether clip attached to the clip seat. The curtain airbag is covered from a vehicle cabin side with the roof headliner and the pillar garnish. The pillar garnish is attached to a pillar of the vehicle by the tether clip. The roof headliner has an extension portion extended so as to be positioned in the pillar garnish. The roof headliner is fitted at the extension portion to the clip seat.
Tether clip and pillar coupling structure provided with the same
A tether clip includes a clip body including a panel anchor part and a trim anchor portion connected to the panel anchor part. The clip body has a moving space therein and a trim trigger in the trim anchor portion to be deformable in the moving space direction. The tether clip has a head anchor part with a head hook thereon, a tether connecting the clip body and the head anchor part, and a coupling pin. The coupling pin is inserted into the moving space and includes an inclined slope configured to contact the trim trigger and move the coupling pin toward the panel anchor portion when the trim trigger is deformed inside.
Pillar garnish
An extension portion is formed at a vehicle front side end portion of a garnish main body. The extension portion bends back to the side thereof at which an storage space is formed, and projects toward a clip seat that is formed at the back side of the garnish main body. The extension portion is connected to a pillar inner panel and the clip seat by a clip. During expansion of a curtain airbag, the front pillar garnish turns about an integral hinge and the storage space opens up.
Low profile push on metal doghouse
A push on doghouse retainer arrangement used for providing a connection between the B-pillar of an automobile, and an appliqu having a high-gloss surface, or show surface. The a push on doghouse includes a formed low profile spring steel base and a slightly raised low profile doghouse portion, which includes a slot for receiving a base of a clip portion. The base also includes at least one attachment aperture. The attachment aperture includes an effective amount of serrations for holding of the doghouse onto a low profile rib molded into the part. The present invention simplifies mold design, minimizes potential for a read condition, and provides a robust engagement for a winged clip type fastener in limited space.
Trim assemblies for mounting working subassemblies
A trim assembly includes a first trim portion spaced apart from an opposed second trim portion, a first surface on the first trim portion, a first magnet connected to the first trim portion so as to be hidden when the user views the first surface and a second surface on the first trim portion, a second magnet connected to the second trim portion so as to be hidden when the user views the second surface. When the working subassembly is configured to span between the first trim portion and the second trim portion, the working subassembly magnetically connectable through the first and second surfaces to the respective first and second magnets.
