The present disclosure provides a bird feeder preventing food from being stolen, the bird feeder includes an upper cover, a food storage pipe and a bottom cover, where the food storage pipe is provided with a food storage cavity, and the upper cover is connected to a pendant; feeding ports communicating with the food storage cavity are provided around a circumferential side of the bottom cover; and the bottom cover, at the feeding ports, may be rotationally connected to trays. Correspondingly to the feeding ports, the bottom cover is inwards and concavely provided with leak-proof portions, each leak-proof portion is provided with a first backstop surface extending vertically, an upper edge of the first backstop surface is externally extended with a second backstop surface, and one end, away from each first backstop surface, of each second backstop surface, is connected to each feeding port. A gap is kept between a lower part of each first backstop surface and each feeding port. Thus, by designing the bird feeder and disposing the leak-proof portions at the feeding ports of the bird feeder, birdseed may be prevented from falling outside the food storage cavity of the bird feeder from the feeding ports. Then the trays may be rotationally connected so that birds can stand stably for eating food while effectively preventing squirrels from stealing the food.

A mounting bracket attached to the baseplate includes a strap and a pair of clips disposed at its opposite ends. Each clip engages one of the tabs to secure the mounting bracket to the baseplate. A pair of clamp arms extend from the strap and engage an arcuate central portion having a curvature that matches the curvature of the elongate tubular structure. An aperture passes through the strap that is aligned with the baseplate aperture. A power cable passes through the strap aperture, the baseplate aperture, and the PCB aperture. The power cable includes power wires that are electrically connected to the PCB for providing power to the LEDs. A protective cover protects the baseplate and the PCB, and provides for transmission of light from the LEDs.

A second support pipe is disposed in the first support pipe and the second support pipe has a locking collar that supports the bird feeder assembly. The bird feeder assembly has a frame that is supported by the locking collar. The second support pipe extends through the frame and a screen and a bird feeder cover and into a birdfeeder to secure the birdfeeder in place. The feeder assembly has first, second, third and fourth support posts, and has first, second, third and fourth feeder sidewalls at least one of which is connected to the frame with hinges and is movable between up and down positions. In another embodiment the bird screen includes a barrier assembly.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for delivering droplets of fluids onto an open tray containing poultry, the tray being stationary. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: (a) a movable arm is moved over the tray in translation in a first direction, said arm supporting a first set of dispensing nozzles and a second set of dispensing nozzles, said nozzles of each set being arranged to cover the entire dimension of the tray in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction; (b) initially, droplets of at least one first fluid are dispensed by spraying using the first set of dispensing nozzles; (c) and then at least one second fluid, distinct from said at least one first fluid to be sprayed, is dispensed by ejecting individual drops by means of the second set of dispensing nozzles.

A bird feeder including a shroud embracing a vertically disposed feed container with the feed container having a feed tray at the lower end thereof. The shroud is vertically movable between an upper position and a lower position with respect to the feed container. In its upper position, birds are able to gain access to the feed tray. In its lower position, the shroud blocks access to the feed tray. A spring yieldably maintains the shroud in its upper position. If a squirrel climbs onto the shroud, the weight of the squirrel overcomes the resistance of the spring which results in the shroud moving to its lower position to prevent the squirrel from gaining access to the feed tray. Three different embodiments of the spring are described and shown. The design of the cover of the shroud partially shields the spring from inclement weather.
