Vehicle battery tray with tubular peripheral wall
A battery tray for supporting batteries at a lower portion of a vehicle frame includes a floor plate and a perimeter wall disposed around the of the floor plate to substantially surround a containment area for storing vehicle battery cells. The perimeter wall includes a tubular member that extends along a periphery of the floor plate to form a perimeter wall around a containment area for storing vehicle battery cells. The perimeter wall is attached at an upper surface of the floor plate, such that the containment area may be generally bounded horizontally by the perimeter wall and at the bottom by the floor plate.
Grille reinforcement
A front-end structure includes a front-end support and a grille fixed relative to the front-end support. Two brackets are disposed between the front-end support and the grille. The two brackets are spaced from each other along a cross-vehicle axis. Each of the two brackets has two legs. Each of the legs extends from the front-end support toward the grille. Two bars are spaced from each other and are spaced from the front-end support. The bars are elongated along the cross-vehicle axis from one of the brackets to the other of the brackets.

VEHICLE DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLY AND LOAD ABSORBING METHOD
A vehicle frame assembly includes, among other things, a lower main rail of a vehicle, a deflector assembly that is disposed adjacent a forward end portion of the lower main rail, and a positioning bracket of the deflector assembly. The positioning bracket is secured directly to the lower main rail and configured to separate from the lower main rail if a load that exceeds a threshold load is applied to a front of the vehicle.
Vehicle bumper assembly
A vehicle bumper assembly (12) that includes a first energy absorbing member (22), a second energy absorbing member (24) and a vehicle facia member (26). The first energy absorbing member (22) is made of non-expanded polypropylene and is configured to directly attach to a vehicle body structure (14). The second energy absorbing member (24) is made of expanded polypropylene and is directly attached to a portion of the first energy absorbing member (22) spaced apart from the vehicle body structure (14). The vehicle facia member (26) is shaped and contoured for a predetermined vehicle body style. Further, the vehicle facia member (26) is configured to attach to the vehicle body structure (14). The vehicle facia member (26) covers and at least partially conceals the first energy absorbing member (22) and the second energy absorbing member (24).

MOTOR VEHICLE BUMPER
A motor vehicle bumper that has a transverse carrier which can be secured transversely relative to the longitudinal carriers of the motor vehicle by crash boxes. The transverse carrier has a shell member which is open toward the front side and which has a rear wall and two outer members which are both adjoined at the end side by an outwardly directed longitudinal flange. The shell member has a central longitudinal portion which is adjoined in the direction toward the two ends of the transverse carrier by a transition portion, an intermediate portion, a crash box connection portion and an end portion. The shell member is closed at least over the majority of the length thereof by a closure plate which forms the front side. In the transition portions, the shell member has a minimum depth which is less than the maximum depth in the central longitudinal portion.

Rear chassis module for vehicle
A rear chassis module for a vehicle includes: a rear suspension subframe disposed under a rear floor panel; a pair of front reinforcing members extending from the rear suspension subframe toward the front of the vehicle, and supporting a battery pack; a pair of rear reinforcing members extending from the rear suspension subframe toward the rear of the vehicle, and supporting a fuel tank; a pair of rear floor side members disposed on both sides of the rear floor panel; and a rear crossmember transverse to and connected to the pair of rear floor side members.
BUMPER ASSEMBLY
A bumper assembly of a motor vehicle includes a cross-member which extends in the motor vehicle transverse direction and a front section which is arranged in front of the cross-member in the motor vehicle longitudinal direction. The front section is supported on the cross-member in the motor vehicle vertical direction via a support element. The support element is produced in one piece with the front section and is pivotable between a production position and a mounted position.
