Bumper-reinforcing system for motor vehicle
A bumper-reinforcing system (1) intended for a motor vehicle includes: a bumper beam (2) with a single-piece elongated profile with a closed cross section and including a center zone (21) extending at least over part of the entire width of the bumper beam and an end zone (22) at each extremity of the bumper beam, two bumper fasteners (3) connected to the rear side of the bumper beam (2) at the intersection between the center zone (21) and the end zone (22) of the bumper beam (2), two reinforcing tubes (4) connected by their first end to the rear side of the end zone (22) of the bumper beam (2), extending from the bumper beam (2) so as to form an angle ? below 45? with the vertical plane of symmetry of the bumper beam and suited to be connected by their other end on the front rail of the vehicle for which the bumper-reinforcing system (1) is provided, and two covers (5) with a single-piece elongated profile with an open cross section, in contact with the rear side of the end zone (22) of the bumper beam (2) and extending at least from the first end of one of the reinforcing tubes (4) to one of the bumper fasteners (3).
VEHICLE
A vehicle comprising: at least one electric motor configured for driving the vehicle; a battery pack configured to supply the electric motor with electric power for driving the vehicle; a vehicle body frame structure configured to form a main supporting structure of the vehicle; and a collision energy absorbing system configured to absorb collision energy in the event of an accident. The collision energy absorbing system comprises a first absorbing structure that is positioned between the battery pack and a front of the vehicle, wherein the first absorbing structure is configured to, in case the vehicle is subject to a head-on collision with an object, act against said object and absorb all or most of a collision energy of the battery pack without transferring said battery pack collision energy to the vehicle body frame structure.
Automotive bumper reinforcement
The bumper reinforcement has a front surface flange, an upper surface web, a lower surface web, an upper lip, and a lower lip. An end of the upper surface web on the upper lip side is thicker than a center. When a collision load is applied to the front surface flange, the upper surface web extending in a direction orthogonal to the front surface flange from vicinity of an upper end of the front surface flange is deformed in an outward opened direction, and the upper lip extending downward from an extension end of the upper surface web is deformed in an inward closed direction.
Vehicle front structure
An outrigger is connected to a front end part of an apron upper member, and further, is extended from its connected part up to that area of a front side member which is on its front end side and on its outer side in a vehicle width direction so as to be connected to the front side member. One end part of a connecting support member is connected to a connecting portion between the outrigger and the apron upper member. The connecting support member extends inward in the vehicle width direction in a plan view of a vehicle from its connected part, so as to be connected to the front side member.
Bumper arrangement
The invention relates to a bumper arrangement with a crossmember and two crashboxes which are in each case connectable on one side to the crossmember on an outer region thereof and are arrangeable on the other side on a vehicle-side longitudinal member. It is distinguished in that the crossmember has a hollow chamber profile with a hollow chamber which is round at least in sections in cross section, which hollow chamber profile is arranged in a crossmember longitudinal axis running perpendicularly to the vehicle center longitudinal axis.
ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, COMPRISING A BUMPER BEAM AND TWO ABSORBERS
The invention relates to an assembly (10) for a bumper device of a motor vehicle, comprising at least one bumper beam (12) and two absorbers (14); the bumper beam (12) is formed by an elongate hollow body comprising two ends at which the absorbers (14) are attached; the assembly (10) further comprises two modular extension pieces (18); each modular extension piece comprising a body (20) with a first portion attached to one end of the bumper beam (12), and a second portion projecting from the end in a longitudinal direction of the bumper beam (12). A lateral absorption plate (24) is further arranged at the end of the second body part (20) of each modular extension piece (18) and extends laterally to the absorbers (14), preferably parallel to the absorbers.
Structural member for automobile body
Disclosed is a structural member for an automobile body includes: a hat channel member that has a top sheet portion, a pair of side wall portions extending via first corner portions, and a pair of flange portions extending via second corner portions; and a joining member that has a pair of joining portions and a top sheet facing portion, wherein a first bead extending in the longitudinal direction is formed on the top sheet portion, and wherein two or more second beads extending in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction are formed on the pair of side wall portions.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front structure comprises a bumper beam provided in a front portion of a vehicle body, a hood lock member provided on a rear side and an upper side of the bumper beam, and a hood lock provided on an upper side of the hood lock member and configured to engage with a hood so that the hood can be opened/closed. The hood lock member is made of a resin. A hood lock bracket made of a metal is attached to the hood lock member. The hood lock is attached to the hood lock bracket. The hood lock bracket and the bumper beam are connected by a connecting member.
VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE WITH SPLAYED RAIL TIPS
A vehicle front structure includes side rails, rail tips, and a tension member. The side rails extend longitudinally in a front portion of the vehicle on left and right sides of a central longitudinal axis of the vehicle. The rail tips have a plurality of flat walls that define a hollow polygonal body disposed about a tip axis. The rail tips have proximal and distal ends. The proximal end is fixedly coupled to a forward terminal end of the side rail inboard of an outer quarter of a total vehicle width. The rail tip extends outboard and forward such that the distal end is disposed within the outer quarter. The flat walls have a forward wall thickness that is less than a rearward wall thickness. The tension member is fixedly coupled to the distal ends and spans laterally therebetween.
