ADJUSTMENT BRACKETS AND ADJUSTMENT BRACKET ASSEMBLIES
An adjustment bracket used to adjust a space between a first part and a second part is provided. The adjustment bracket comprises a cylindrical adjustment body including a first disc and a second disc. The first and the second discs are formed by cutting the adjustment body into two equal halves along a slanted surface. The first disc and the second disc are capable of counter rotating at an equal amount at an opposite direction, and the adjustment body has a substantially same thickness around its circumference at a home position, and has a varied thickness when the first and second discs rotates along a central axis away from the home position.
Bumper Fascia Adjustment Mechanism
An adjustment mechanism for a fascia of a vehicle includes a riser having an upper end defining a hole and a fascia retainer defining a first threaded bore in a center portion thereof. The adjustment mechanism further includes an externally threaded sleeve received in the first threaded bore, the sleeve defining a lower end configured to engage the upper end of the riser, and a bolt extending through a sleeve bore defined in the sleeve and into the hole in the upper end of the riser. The bolt is threadably coupled to the upper end of the riser.
Integrated bumper spacers for vehicle with suspension modifications
A system of bumper spacers that provide for relocation of a vehicle's bumper forward of the body. Single and multiple points of attachment define spacers are provided with varying dimensional aspects to accommodate different vehicle applications. Stabilization and positioning installation engagement tab extensions extend from the respective spacers in both the axial and trans-axial opening alignment extending at right angles from the spacer's body member exterior surface.
Adjustable assembly of a mobile bodywork panel with a fixed bodywork panel
An assembly of a vehicle fixed bodywork panel and a support part for this fixed bodywork panel, comprising one adjustment means in translation of the fixed bodywork panel comprising: a translation member engaging said support part along a member translation axis; a through hole arranged into a first portion of the bodywork panel, the member translation axis being offset from the through-hole, and; a translation coupling element for the translation member and the fixed bodywork panel engaging the through hole, so that moving the translation member along the member translation axis causes a translation of the fixed bodywork panel relative to the support part in a translation direction allowing the fixed bodywork panel to be in a desired position, e.g. flush with a mobile bodywork panel.
Bumper assembly
A bumper assembly includes a bumper beam for absorbing an impact of a vehicle and a crash box attached to the bumper beam and extending along an axis A. A mounting plate is attached to the crash box and defines at least one lateral slot extending laterally along the mounting plate in spaced and perpendicular relationship to the axis A. A fastener extends through the lateral slot for mating with a mounting surface of the vehicle frame to establish a secured position of the bumper assembly. The fastener includes a shoulder disposed in abutting relationship with the mounting surface in the secured position to dispose the mounting plate and the mounting surface in spaced relationship to one another for allowing the fastener to slide laterally along the lateral slot during a vehicle impact to reduce the transfer of lateral impact forces from the bumper assembly to the vehicle frame.
