The exhaust finisher is provided at a terminating end portion of an exhaust pipe. The reinforcing block is fixed to the exhaust finisher and attached to the rear exterior member. The reinforcing block has an upper side portion that straddles an upper side of the exhaust finisher in a vehicle width direction, an inner side portion that extends downward from an inner region of the upper side portion in the vehicle width direction, and an outer side portion that extends downward from an outer region of the upper side portion in the vehicle width direction.

BUMPER ASSEMBLY FOR AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE

An automotive vehicle includes a body having fore and aft portions. The vehicle includes a bumper beam coupled to the vehicle body proximate the fore portion and a heat exchanger disposed aft of the bumper beam. A fascia assembly is coupled to the vehicle body and extends about the bumper beam. The fascia assembly includes a fascia inlet configured to direct an airflow from the exterior of the fascia assembly to the interior of the fascia assembly. An energy absorption member is disposed between the fascia and the bumper beam. An air passage extends through at least one of the bumper beam and the energy absorption member. The air passage extends from an air passage inlet to an air passage outlet. The air passage inlet is positioned downstream of the fascia inlet with respect to the airflow, and the air passage outlet being positioned upstream of the heat exchanger.

Front end part

A front end part is for a motor vehicle. The front end part has: a front end part outer skin element, which has an air inlet opening, the air passage opening being closeable by a closure device, the closure device having a closure element, which is adjustable between a closed position and an open position; and a protective element, which is arranged adjacent to the air inlet opening in a transverse direction of the motor vehicle and projects in front of the front end part outer skin element in a longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle. The closure element in the closed position is arranged flush with the front end part outer skin element. The front end part outer skin element and the protective element, arranged in front of the front end part outer skin element in the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle, delimit an air duct.

An air guiding system for a vehicle including an air guide duct having at least one air inlet, the air guide duct further having a first air outlet, a second air outlet, and an internal flow splitter. The flow splitter is disposed within the air guide duct such that a first portion of incoming air flows to the first and second air outlets, and a second portion of incoming air flows through the flow splitter. The first air outlet is configured to discharge air into one of the pair of opposing front wheel wells and the second air outlet is configured to discharge air into another of the pair of opposing front wheel wells. A further aspect of the disclosure provides an underbody tray including a plurality of openings configured to allow airflow through the underbody tray, the underbody tray being disposed below the air guide duct.

Air guide seal arrangement

An air guide seal arrangement adapted to be located between a bumper fascia and a cooler of a vehicle. The air guide seal arrangement includes a first member and a second member. The first member has a first irregularly shaped edge portion, shaped to seal against an inner surface of the bumper fascia, and a second regularly shaped edge portion being located opposite to the first edge portion. The second member has a first regularly shaped edge portion and a second edge portion, being located opposite to the first edge portion, shaped to seal against a forwards-facing surface of the cooler. At least one of the first member and the second member is resilient. The first member and the second member form two separate members adapted to be held together solely by being pressed together in use.
