Grille shutter device
A grille shutter device includes: a first bumper reinforcement extending in a vehicle width direction; and a shutter mechanism that is provided with a plurality of support members extending from the first bumper reinforcement in a direction intersecting with the vehicle width direction, is supported by the plurality of support members, and regulates a flow rate of air which flows into an engine room from a grille.
Bumper Assembly and Vehicle
A bumper assembly includes a bumper body, a blade, a heat dissipation device, and a driving device. The bumper body is located in front of the heat dissipation device, an air inlet is formed in the bumper body, a projection of the air inlet in a front rear direction at least partially coincides with a projection of the heat dissipation device in the front rear direction, the blade is rotatably arranged at the air inlet; the driving device is connected to the blade and is configured to drive the blade to rotate, so that the blade has an open position, where the blade exposes the air inlet, and a closed position, where the blade covers the air inlet, and projections of the blade and the bumper body in the front rear direction jointly cover the projection of the heat dissipation device in the front rear direction.
Monobloc Part Forming A Front Bloc Comprising An Absorption System And An Aerodynamic System
The invention relates to a monobloc part forming a front block for motor vehicle including a structural portion forming an energy absorption system, and a moulded semi-structural portion forming at least an aerodynamic system, the semi-structural portion being overmoulded on the structural portion.
Adjustable rear bumper spoiler system for vehicle
An adjustable rear bumper spoiler system for a vehicle controls air turbulence by driving the air spoiler device so that the vehicle can be pressed downwards during high-speed driving. The adjustable rear bumper spoiler system also controls air turbulence by driving flap devices so that the vehicle body is pressed downwards with respect to the turning direction during turning. This consequently improves the driving performance and driving reliability of the vehicle.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle includes a motor vehicle front end with at least one cooling-air opening. The cooling-air opening is formed with an encircling edge which, at least at the two lateral side regions, has a projecting edge region. In the cooling-air opening, there is arranged at least one cooling-air slat which extends through the cooling-air opening and divides the cooling-air opening into at least two separate partial openings.
AIR DEFLECTOR ASSEMBLIES FOR VEHICLES
A vehicle includes a grille assembly, a radiator, and a bumper reinforcement beam. In addition, the vehicle includes an air deflector assembly that further includes an air deflector body portion that extends away from the radiator in the vehicle longitudinal direction over the bumper reinforcement beam and toward the grille assembly. The air deflector body portion includes an upper wall portion and an intermediate wall portion. The intermediate wall portion intersects the upper wall portion at an angle. The air deflector body portion includes a lower wall portion that is offset from the upper wall portion in the vehicle lateral direction by the upper wall portion. The intermediate wall portion intersects the lower wall portion at an angle so to facilitate collapsing of the air deflector body portion upon a vertical impact by a leg impactor during a pedestrian leg impact test.
VEHICLE HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS
A vehicle heat exchange apparatus, including: a heat exchanger provided rearward of a front bumper formed with an air intake port, and having an air inlet member on a front face of the heat exchanger; and a duct member provided between the front bumper and the heat exchanger, and forming a passage for passing cooling air from the air intake port of the front bumper to the air inlet member of the heat exchanger, wherein the duct member has: a first intake port introducing air from a vehicle front side into the passage through the air intake port provided in the front bumper; a second intake port introducing air from a vehicle lower side into the passage; and an outlet port opened at an end portion of the passage and facing the air inlet member of the heat exchanger.
VEHICLE HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS
A vehicle heat exchange apparatus, including: a heat-exchanger provided rearward of a front-bumper formed with an air-intake-port, and having an air-inlet-member on a front-face of the heat-exchanger; and a passage-forming-member provided between the front-bumper and the heat-exchanger, and forming a passage for passing cooling-air from the air-intake-port of the front-bumper to the air-inlet-member of the heat-exchanger, wherein the heat-exchanger is provided inclined so that an upper-end-portion is positioned rearward of a lower-end-portion, the passage-forming-member has: a duct-member having: a top-member; a bottom-member facing the top-member; and a pair of side-members interconnecting the top-member and the bottom-member, and forming a part of the passage with a space enclosed by the top-member, the bottom-member and the pair of side-members; and a closing-member provided to close a gap between the top-member of the duct-member and the upper-end-portion of the heat-exchanger.
Bumper assemblies and vehicles with integrated air deflectors
A bumper assembly includes a bumper cover, a bumper reinforcement beam spaced apart from the bumper cover, and a low speed bumper energy absorber that extends along a front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam between the bumper cover and the bumper reinforcement beam. The low speed bumper energy absorber includes a body portion extending along the front surface of the bumper reinforcement beam, wherein at least a portion of the body portion is space apart from the bumper cover, and one or more air deflectors extending between the body portion and the bumper cover, wherein the one or more air deflectors substantially isolate a portion of the bumper assembly from air leakage through the bumper assembly.
VEHICLE ILLUMINATED AIRFLOW CONTROL DEVICE
A light system is provided herein. The light system includes a bumper assembly disposed on a vehicle. A light source is disposed on the bumper assembly. An airflow control device is disposed below the bumper assembly. A first luminescent structure is disposed on the airflow control device.
