Safety protection apparatus
09663055 · 2017-05-30 ·

The present invention relates to a safety protection apparatus for motor traffic means, comprising a support frame fixedly connected to a seat of a motor traffic means and a protection cabin for accommodating an infant. The upper end of the protection cabin is rotatably connected to the support frame, and a damping shock-absorption component is provided between the protection cabin and support frame or the seat. The apparatus of the present can be adapted for motor traffic means such as a passenger car, a truck, or a steamboat, etc., and, adapted respectively for adults and infants. The apparatus of the present invention has the following beneficial effects: protecting the passengers from direct damage from external force by providing a protection cabin; buffering the shock caused by emergency braking or collision by providing a rotatable mechanism, consuming energy by a damping component and providing comprehensive protection for infants or adults in prone position.

RESTRAINT SYSTEM, OPTIONALLY HANDS FREE

A restraint system is provided for a manned vehicle. The restraint system may optionally be automatically actuated; that is, hands-free to the seat occupant or occupants where the restraint system is vehicle-wide. The restraint system may comprise a first component including an upper restraint and at least one secondary restraint apparatus such as an airbag or a belt system. The restraint system may have a manual override so an occupant can exit when circumstances require, even if the automated parameters would otherwise keep the restraints locked.

System and method for inflatable restraint for a ride vehicle

A restraint system for a ride vehicle includes a clamp restraint having a first restraint portion and a second restraint portion configured to transition between a released configuration and a secured configuration. The clamp restraint is configured to receive at least one passenger leg between the first restraint portion and the second restraint portion in the released configuration. The restraint system also includes one or more inflatable bladders of the first restraint portion, the second restraint portion, or both configured to inflate to engage the at least one passenger leg in the secured configuration to facilitate restraint of the passenger within the ride vehicle.

Controls for a work machine

A child safety seat and a support device thereof. The support device includes a support leg body, a bottom leg, a trigger, and an alarm unit. The bottom leg is connected to a bottom end of the support leg body, and the bottom leg and the support leg body form a receiving space. The trigger is movably connected to the bottom leg and is movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, at least a portion of the trigger protrudes from the bottom leg, and in the second position, the trigger is received in the receiving space. The alarm unit includes a switch module and a wireless module. The switch module is configured to acquire a floor contact signal indicating that the trigger is in the second position, and the wireless module is in signal communication with the switch module.

Restraint systems and restraint system methods

Passenger restraint systems are provided. The restraint systems can include: a passenger seat supported by a frame; a restraint bar pivotably attached to the frame; and at least one piston operably engaged between the restraint bar and the frame. Restraint system pistons are provided. The pistons can include: a central chamber housing a piston head and rod; a fluid reservoir in fluid communication with the central chamber; and at least one electromechanical valve operable between an open and a closed position. Methods for restraining a passenger within a seat are also provided. Manually operable piston assemblies are provided that can include a piston head within a cylinder, the piston head separating fluid in the cylinder to define rod-side fluid and head-side fluid. The piston assembly can be configured to operate in at least six positions, including but not limited to a first position of locking retract static; a second position of locking retract extend flow; a third position of locking retract flow; a fourth position of locking extend static; a fifth position of locking extend retract flow; and a sixth position of locking extend flow. Manually operable piston assemblies are also provided that can include a piston head within a cylinder, with the piston head separating fluid in the cylinder to define rod-side fluid and head-side fluid. The manually operable piston assembly can further be configured to operate in at least six positions that include a first position of locking extend static; a second position of extend movement flow; a third position of manual override retract flow; a fourth position of manual override extend flow; a fifth position of locking retract static; and a sixth position of retract movement flow. Methods for operating a manually operable piston are also provided. The methods can include applying pressure to retract the piston rod and allow head-side fluid to pass through piston head passageway and mix with rod-side fluid. Methods for operating a manually operable piston can also include applying pressure to extend or retract the piston rod and allow head-side fluid to pass through at least one valve and mix with rod-side fluid.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND PASSENGER RESTRAINT SYSTEM

A hydraulic system for a passenger restraint device includes a hydraulic pump, at least one hydraulic section with a hydraulic accumulator, a valve arrangement and a hydraulic cylinder unit with a piston. The valve arrangement is connected to the hydraulic pump, the hydraulic accumulator and the hydraulic cylinder unit and can be controlled by a higher-level control unit. The hydraulic pump is configured to pressurize the hydraulic cylinder unit by switching the valve arrangement to an opening switching position, so that the piston moves to an open position. The hydraulic accumulator is configured to pressurize the hydraulic cylinder unit by switching the valve arrangement to a closing switching position so that the piston moves to a close position. The higher-level control is connected to a manually operable sensor system and switches the valve arrangement to the closing switching position when the manually operable sensor system is actuated.
