Occupant protection device
An occupant protection device includes a seat having a seat portion and a backrest portion, a first restraining member configured to restrain a left shoulder of an occupant, a second restraining member configured to restrain a right shoulder of the occupant, a take-up unit that holds and takes up the first restraining member and the second restraining member, and a lifting unit, wherein the first restraining member and the second restraining member are fed out from a housing portion of the seat owing to being taken up by the take-up unit, and restrain the left and right shoulders, and wherein the lifting unit causes a front edge side of a seat face of the seat portion to rise when the take-up unit takes up the first restraining member and the second restraining member.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes a seat back having a front surface and a rear surface, a panel movable along the rear surface from a stowed position adjacent the rear surface to a deployed position facing the front surface, and an airbag supported on the panel and inflatable toward the front surface to an inflated position in which the airbag contacts the panel.
Arm rest
An arm rest attachable to a seat for a vehicle occupant to sit on includes side members, a front member, and a rear member. The side members include a pair of side members provided at left and right sides of the vehicle occupant and extending in a front-rear direction. The front member is in front of the vehicle occupant when the vehicle occupant is seated and is configured to couple front sides of the left and right side members to each other at least when in use. The rear member couples the seat to rear sides of the side members. The side members and the front member are rotatable about a line that connects left and right coupled points between the rear member and the seat.
AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
An airbag assembly includes a plurality of pipes each having a distal end. The pipes are inflatable to an inflated position in which the distal ends are positioned in a circular configuration. The airbag assembly includes a plurality of interconnecting panels in alternating arrangement with the plurality of pipes. Each interconnecting panel is fixed to adjacent ones of the plurality of pipes. The airbag assembly includes an uninflatable panel fixed to the distal ends of the plurality of pipes.
VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat, which is provided with a collision prediction sensor and with a seat cushion having a seat cushion top face and a seat cushion frame, includes: a pelvis movement suppression member disposed along a seat width direction inside a front portion of the seat cushion; a vertical movement-enabling unit supporting the pelvis movement suppression member at the seat cushion frame and allowing vertical movement of the pelvis movement suppression member to follow vertical movement of the seat cushion top face; and a stopper unit attached to the seat cushion frame and, in a case in which a rapid deceleration of a vehicle is detected or a collision of the vehicle is predicted by the collision prediction sensor, restricting downward movement of the pelvis movement suppression member.
