APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SECURING A GLOVE BOX LID IN A CLOSED POSITION
An apparatus includes a stop carried on a glove box lid and a lever including an abutment, a catch and a fulcrum. The lever is displaceable about the fulcrum between a rest position and a deployed position. In the deployed position the catch engages the stop preventing the glove box lid from opening. A method of securing the glove box lid in a closed position in the event of an impact to a motor vehicle is also provided.

FIXATION LEG FOR A VEHICLE INTERIOR PANEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
A fixation leg for a vehicle interior panel includes an impact energy absorption region having one or more partial or complete perforations. Each one of the perforations may be formed by laser ablating material from the fixation leg at the impact energy absorption region. The impact energy absorption region is weakened due to the partial or complete perforations such that upon impact with the vehicle interior panel, the fixation leg can break and absorb some of the impact energy. In one embodiment, the fixation leg attaches a substrate of a vehicle instrument panel to a structural crossmember.
Display structure with a flush appearance for a vehicle-based implementation
Disclosed herein are structures and methods for assembling said structures to provide a glass-based and flush implementation of a display structure for a vehicle-based context. Employing the aspects disclosed herein, an implementer is provided a structure capable of passing head-impact tests, while prevent stray shard creation and providing an aesthetically superior design to convention implementation.

Cockpit for a vehicle
A cockpit for a vehicle, wherein the cockpit comprises a first module with a support and a second module with a support. The support of the second module is arranged in a first direction behind the support of the first module and higher than the support of the first module, so that the support of the first module slides at least partially under the support of the second module in the first direction in a crash case with a force acting on the first module.
