WEBBING ADJUSTMENT DEVICE
A webbing adjustment device has a cover, a frame, a slider, and a guiding ring member. The frame is up and down moveably disposed in the cover. The slider is located in the cover, is moveably disposed in a body of the frame, and has a through slot formed through the slider. Webbing inserted through the through slot is locked or unlocked by a relative motion between the frame and the slider. The guiding ring member is detachably disposed on the cover, and has a guiding ring and a positioning element connected to the guiding ring. The webbing is inserted through the guiding ring. The cover is detachably hung on the guiding ring. The webbing adjustment device can lock the webbing automatically by the tension of the webbing.
Seat belt device for the vehicle seat
An upper-front of a seatback is cut, providing a hole at a position the occupant's shoulder may lie, and an engaging means able to engage with a shoulder webbing is fitted in the hole. The engaging means holds the shoulder webbing, which is wrapped around the occupant. The engaging means is, for example, a (second) buckle fitted in the hole. A second tongue (intermediate tongue) is mounted on a middle part of the shoulder webbing. The shoulder webbing is wrapped slantwise around the occupant's shoulder when the second tongue is engaged with the second buckle.
SUPPLEMENTAL DEVICE FOR USE WITH A VEHICLE SAFETY BELT AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A method of using a vehicle restraint device, including a vehicle safety belt having an adjustable safety belt connected to a vehicle seat such that a first end of the safety belt is connected to a seat belt anchor and a second end of the safety belt is connected to an upper seat portion, a strap extension having a lower attachment device connected to a first end of the extension such that the lower attachment device is located between the seat belt anchor and a hip area of the end user and an upper attachment device is connected to a second end of the extension, wherein the lower and upper attachment devices are located on the extension in an orientation that is substantially parallel to the safety belt and the lower attachment device and the upper attachment device allow the extension to be removed from the safety belt.
Carseat Belt Attachment
A child safety seat belt to provide solution for the frustrating and exasperating experience of fighting seatbelts for parents when placing their infants in child car seats is disclosed. The child safety seat belt comprises an attachment frame to snap the existing seat belts on the child car seat. The attachment frame is configured to have three separate segments specially designed to fit at the end of each belt via a connection joint at an upper section, a middle section and a lower section. The connection joint is configured to juxtapose the three separate segments together once the existing seat belt is snapped into the attachment frame and spreads out in upright position to provide access for the parent to take out the child from the seat.
APPARATUS FOR ADAPTING A SEATBELT TO A CHILD
An apparatus for adapting an adult three-point seatbelt of a vehicle for safe and secure usage by an occupant such as a child, the seatbelt being of the ubiquitous type that comprises a tensioned belt wound on a drum that extends from above shoulder height of an adult occupant of a seat, to an anchor point connected to chassis of vehicle, and a clasp attached to the chassis on an opposite side of an occupant of the seat from the anchor point, such that the belt may be drawn downwards and across an occupant to engage the clasp, thereby restraining the occupant with both a sash section and a lap section of the seatbelt.
The apparatus comprises a guide for the sash section of the seat belt that is fixed to a seat and sideways adjustable with respect to the occupant sitting on the seat, the sash guide for engaging the sash section above a shoulder of the occupant at a sideways position to ensure that said sash section runs over shoulder of the occupant in an optimal position for both comfort and safety. Different embodiments are directed to a guide attached to the seat of the vehicle itself, retrofittable to a head rest and attached to various child seats such as booster seats that themselves sit on the vehicle seat.
CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR JUVENILE VEHICLE SEAT
A child restraint, in accordance with the present disclosure, includes a juvenile seat and a child-restraint harness. The child-restraint harness may be configured to move to make it easier for a caregiver to seat and unseat a child.
Locking Device for Maintaining Seat Belt Tension on a Child Car Seat
A seat belt locking device (10) for a child car seat prevents relative movement of a typical automotive seat belt system, thereby maintaining tension upon the seat belt (8A) after the child car seat is installed to the vehicle. The device (10) described herein consists of a body (1) upon which pressure is applied and one or more keels (2) protruding from the body (1) inserted into the motor vehicle seat belt buckle tongue aperture (7) to prevent movement of the webbing strap (8A) through the buckle tongue aperture (7).
Motor vehicle seatbelt restraint arrangement
A motor vehicle seatbelt restraint arrangement including a continuous seatbelt. When the occupant is seated the seatbelt buckle tongue is drawable across the body to engage the buckle providing firstly a pre-impact configuration of the seatbelt characterized by a lap belt portion resting on the hips or upper legs of the occupant, wherein the lap belt portion is rearward vertically offset relative to an underside belt portion of the continuous seatbelt across the seating surface of the seat, and secondly an impact configuration of the seatbelt characterized by the lap belt portion and the underside belt portion being less rearward vertically offset and substantially vertically aligned one with respect to the other to provide a more vertically aligned loop of the continuous seatbelt around the hips or upper legs of the occupant at impact preventing submarining of the occupant out from the motor vehicle seat during impact.
Safety belt connecting structure and child safety seat
A safety belt connecting structure includes first and second shoulder belts, and an adjusting belt. The first and second shoulder belts have corresponding first and second shoulder belt coupling ends and first and second shoulder belt connecting end, and the first shoulder belt engaging end is coupled to a facility where the safety belt connecting structure is installed.
