SEAT BELT DEVICE
A seat belt device includes a webbing and a tongue. The webbing includes a lap belt and a shoulder belt. At least a portion of the lap belt is configured to be disposed to extend in a vehicle-width direction along a front of an abdomen of an occupant. At least a portion of the shoulder belt is configured to be disposed obliquely along a front of a chest of the occupant. The tongue is provided between the lap belt and the shoulder belt of the webbing and is configured to be coupled to a vehicle body when the tongue is to be mounted. The tongue rotates in accordance with a collision or a warning of the collision of a vehicle in a direction in which the shoulder belt is twisted with respect to the vehicle body.
Vehicle seat
A 3-point seatbelt device includes webbing for restraining an occupant, with one end of the webbing disposed on one seat width direction side of a rear portion of a seat cushion frame, and includes a buckle to engage with a tongue plate. The rod shaped submarining restriction member spans across a front portion of the seat cushion frame in the seat width direction, is actuated by a first load imparted to the webbing from a seated occupant in a frontal collision of the vehicle, and moves toward a vehicle upper side from a pre-actuation normal position toward a post-actuation restricting position. The pair of load transmission members are respectively coupled to the submarining restriction member and either the one end of the webbing or the buckle in a seat front-rear direction.
PASSENGER RESTRAINT PRETENSIONER
An assembly includes a housing. The assembly includes a spool rotatable relative to the housing. The assembly includes a cable fixed to the spool. The assembly includes a passenger restraint fixed to the cable. The assembly includes a pyrotechnic device fixed relative to the housing and designed to rotate the spool relative to the housing. The assembly includes a ratchet-and-pawl mechanism between the housing and the spool.
TENSIONER DRIVE FOR A SEATBELT INSTALLATION, AND ASSEMBLY HAVING A TENSIONER DRIVE
The invention relates, inter alia, to a tensioner drive (11) for a seatbelt installation, having a tube (30), at least one piston (25) which within the tube (30) is displaceable along a propulsion direction (P2), and a gas generator (40) for generating a propulsion gas (G) and a propulsion pressure on a pressure-facing side of the piston (25). According to the invention it is provided that the piston (25) on the pressure-facing side thereof has a first sealing element (90) which, upon triggering the gas generator (40), is impinged with the propulsion pressure and seals a first tubular portion (31) of the tube (30) that is filled with propulsion gas (G) in relation to a second tubular portion (32) of the tube (30) that in the propulsion direction (P2) lies behind said first tubular portion (31); a second sealing element (100) which, upon triggering the gas generator (40), is separated from the first sealing element (90) is disposed in the propulsion direction (P2) behind the first sealing element (90); wherein the second sealing element (100) is displaceable relative to the first sealing element (90), and in the event of leakage of the first sealing element (90) and when impinged with pressure by the propulsion gas (G) is displaced along the propulsion direction (P2) while enlarging the spacing (A) between the first sealing element (90) and the second sealing element (100).
Safety belt device for a vehicle
A safety belt device for a vehicle, having a belt force limiting unit and a safety belt buckle that interacts therewith, through which buckle a wire cable loop is passed that transitions into wire cable segments that are passed out of the safety belt buckle and extend to a cable deflection element at which they are deflected about at least one deflection axis in the direction toward the belt force limiting unit, wherein the safety belt buckle is rotated about a safety belt buckle axis such that the wire cable loop passed through the safety belt buckle is oriented with its loop opening open in the axial direction with respect to the deflection axis.
Seatbelt assembly
An assembly includes a base and a seatbelt anchor. The seatbelt anchor has a first end defining a circular hole pivotally supported by the base and a second end fixed in position relative to the first end. The assembly includes a buckle fixed in position relative to the second end. The assembly includes a pyrotechnic actuator secured to the base. The assembly includes a connector extending from the pyrotechnic actuator to the seatbelt anchor.
PRETENSIONER AND SEAT BELT APPARATUS
A pretensioner includes a wire having one end connectable to webbing that restrains an occupant of a vehicle; a piston connected to another end of the wire; a cylinder that slidably accommodates the piston; a housing through which the wire passes and that holds the cylinder; and a gas generator that supplies gas to the piston through a gas chamber within the housing, the gas being for operating the piston in a retraction direction of the wire. The piston includes, at one end of a gas chamber side, a cylindrical portion that extends in an axial direction of the piston, and an initial volume of the gas chamber is adjusted by adjusting a volume of an inner space of the cylindrical portion.
Vehicle seatbelt device
A vehicle seatbelt device that includes: a lap belt that restrains a waist portion of an occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a connection member that connects an end portion of the lap belt with an anchor provided at either a side of the vehicle seat or a location on a vehicle body; a retractor that is provided at a front side of a vehicle relative to the anchor, and that is actuated in a vehicle collision or in a case in which a vehicle collision has been predicted; and a load transmission member that is coupled with the connection member so as to be movable relative to the connection member, and that is retracted by the retractor in a case in which the retractor is actuated.
Load limiting seat belt buckle assemblies
A seat belt buckle assembly includes a buckle housing; a plate extending from the buckle housing and defining a slot; and a bracket including a rivet engaged in the slot. The plate and rivet are configured such that, in response to an impact force that exceeds a threshold acting to pull the buckle housing away from the bracket, the slot plastically deforms, permitting the buckle housing and plate to translate relative to the bracket.
Belt tightener
The invention relates to a belt tensioner (30) for a vehicle occupant restraint system comprising a housing (32), a working chamber (34) into which the compressed gas released in the case of restraint is flowing, a pull rope (24) extending through an opening (36) within the housing (32) and a sealing bush (10) for sealing the working chamber (34) against the opening (36) between the pull rope (24) and the housing (32), with the sealing bush (10) comprising a sleeve (16) and a sealing element (12) and the sealing bush (10) being pressed onto the pull rope (24) by plastic deforming of the outer sleeve (16).
