The rope reel (36) includes a winding surface (62) for the pull rope (41) that is conically tapered in the axial direction.
BELT-TENSIONER CABLE-GUIDING PART, AND BELT TENSIONER
On a belt tensioner cable guide member (10) comprising a guide duct (42) for a cable of a belt tensioner and comprising a pressure duct (40) for fluid communication between an inflator and a pressure chamber to which a displacement body to be driven and being coupled to the cable is assigned, a first sealing element (44) sealing the guide duct (42) against the cable and especially enclosing the cable in the peripheral direction is provided within the guide duct (42).
Tensioning device
The present invention relates to a tensioning device for a seat belt device, with a gas generator (10) for generating a pressurized gas, a piston (2) that can be driven by the pressurized gas, a tension cable (5) connected to the piston (2), which tension cable can be connected to a safety belt component that is to be set into a tensioning movement and which tension cable extends through the piston (2), a guide part (3) arranged on the tension cable (2), and a tensioning tube (6) for receiving the piston (2) and the guide part (3), which is characterized in that the guide part (3) is arranged on the side of the piston (2) facing away from the gas generator (10) and is movable relative to the piston (2).
Device for creating gas inflating an airbag
A personal protection arrangement in a vehicle includes a gas generator for fluid communication with a reservoir and a control unit. The control unit is arranged to activate the gas generator upon fulfillment of at least one predetermined criterion such that gas is released by the gas generator into the reservoir and the pressure in the reservoir is increased. The gas generator comprises at least one electrochemical cell which is arranged to generate gas when the electrical status of the electrochemical cell is changed from a first state to a second state by a state-changing action.
LAP PRETENSIONER INCLUDING A STRUCTURE TO LIMIT GAS EMISSIONS
The present invention relates to a lap pretensioner including a structure to limit gas emissions comprises a connecting unit connected with the anchor or the buckle; and a pressure unit having an interior space formed therein into which a portion of the connecting unit is inserted, actuated by an impact on the vehicle to inject a fluid into the interior space, and moving a portion of the connecting unit in one direction under pressure of the fluid received therein to pull the anchor or the buckle; wherein the pressure unit is provided inside the interior space, and configured to allow fluid to move along the inside of a variable space that varies in response to the movement of the connecting unit.
Tensioning device for a seat belt component
A seat belt tensioning device with a gas generator for generating a compressed gas, a piston driven by the compressed gas, a tension cable which is connected to the piston and is connectable to a seat belt component to be set into a tensioning movement, a tensioner tube for receiving and guiding the piston, and a guide block that forms a cable guide and in which a receptacle receiving the gas generator and a pressure chamber connected in terms of flow to the receptacle are formed, wherein the guide block is connected to the tensioner tube, and the tension cable runs rectilinearly in a piston movement direction from the tensioner tube through the pressure chamber, wherein the guide block forms a linear guide adjoining the pressure chamber such that the tension cable can be led out of the guide block on the side opposite the tensioner tube.
APPARATUS FOR CONTROL OF MULTIPLE FLUID POWERED ACTUATORS
A passenger restraint apparatus includes a plurality of fluid powered actuators and multiple switchable valves. Each fluid powered actuator includes a movable element, a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber, wherein the movable element moves in a first direction when a fluid flows into the first fluid chamber or in a second direction when the fluid flows into the second fluid chamber. A switchable valve includes a first port and a second port, the first port coupled to the first fluid chamber of each fluid powered actuator and the second port coupled to the second fluid chamber of each fluid powered actuator via separate one-way valves to enable movement of the movable element of each fluid powered actuator in the first direction and to prevent movement of the movable element of each fluid powered actuator in the second direction when the switchable valve is in an ON state.
SEAT, IN PARTICULAR VEHICLE SEAT
A seat, configured as a vehicle seat, may have been a seat part, a backrest which is connected to the seat part, and a safety belt which may be a belt strap for restraining an occupant seated on the seat or a dummy arranged on the seat. The belt strap may extend between two lower belt anchorage points and an upper belt anchorage point. During an increased action of force, in particular a test-induced action of force, on the seat, the two lower belt anchorage points may be configured so as to be movable in an advancing manner.
