Web adjusters and other web connecting devices for use with restraint systems are described herein. In some embodiments, web adjusters, such as tilt-lock web adjusters, can include web gripping features on an edge portion of a web aperture to prevent a web that is joined to the web adjuster from sliding or otherwise moving to one side of the web aperture or the other when the web is pulled in a direction that is not perpendicular to the edge. In some embodiments, the web gripping features can include alternating recessed and raised edge portions.

MOVING DEVICE

In a lift-up buckle device, a slider and a shoe move forward and a buckle is moved to a stowed position. The shoe impacts against a protruding portion at a lower portion of a damper and interferes with a housing via the lower portion of the damper. Thus, the forward movement of the slider and shoe is stopped, while the damper absorbs an impact against the slider and shoe. Therefore, an amount of the impact against the slider and shoe that is absorbed by the damper may be increased by the protruding portion, and the damper may absorb the impact against the slider and shoe effectively.

Height adjustable seatbelt buckle

A seatbelt assembly including: a buckle defining a receptacle configured to receive a striker therein; a back plate of the buckle defining a first aperture; a support post to which the back plate is slidably mounted defining a second aperture; and a stopper within the buckle movable between a retracted position and an extended position, in the retracted position the stopper is outside of both the receptacle and the first aperture, and in the extended position the stopper extends through the receptacle and through the first aperture. The buckle is movable along the support post between a raised position and a lowered position, in the lowered position with the stopper in the extended position the tip of the stopper is seated within the second aperture of the support post to lock the buckle in the lowered position.
