VEHICLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes a belt and one of a buckle or a clip. The belt has a first inflatable portion inflatable to an inflated position, a second inflatable portion inflatable to an inflated position, and an intermediate portion between the first inflatable portion and the second inflatable portion. The intermediate portion includes a fluid channel connecting the first inflatable portion to the second inflatable portion. One of the buckle or the clip is slidably attached to the intermediate portion.
VEHICLE SEAT BELT ANCHORAGE LOCATION DEPENDENT ON SEAT BACK RECLINE ANGLE
A seat belt anchorage assembly adapted to be coupled to an interior structure (e.g., a seat) of a vehicle, including: a seat belt attachment point adapted to receive one of a seat belt retention assembly and a seat belt buckle assembly; a translation mechanism coupled to the seat belt attachment point and adapted to translate the seat belt attachment point one or more of forwards and downwards with respect to the interior structure (e.g., the seat) of the vehicle responsive to a seat back of the vehicle being reclined. Optionally, the translation mechanism includes a mechanical linkage coupled between the seat back and the seat belt attachment point. Alternatively, the translation mechanism includes an electronic actuator coupled between the seat back and the seat belt attachment point.
RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SEAT
The invention relates to a restraint system for a vehicle seat, comprising a webbing belt element for restraining an occupant of the vehicle seat, further comprising a guide belt element which is guided continuously on a guideway, the holding element being securely connected to a first section of the guide belt element, wherein the webbing belt element is passed through a cutout of the holding element, wherein by means of a movement of the self-contained guide belt element on the guideway in a first direction of rotation the holding element is continuously adjustable within an adjustment section of the guideway from a second maximum position to a first maximum position.
Seat mounted adjustable seat belt webbing guide
A webbing guide for a vehicle seat includes a base defining a length between a first end and a second end and defining a plurality of pairs of corresponding spaced-apart post holes extending through the base between top and bottom surfaces thereof. The webbing guide further includes a guide body coupled with the base and defining a guide channel extending through the guide body in a direction generally normal to the length of the base and normal to the post holes.
Seatbelt guide assembly
An assembly includes a webbing. The assembly includes a first webbing guide receiving the webbing. The assembly includes a second webbing guide receiving the webbing and releasably secured to the first webbing guide. The assembly includes an actuator. The assembly includes a cable secured to the actuator and to the second webbing guide.
VEHICLE RESTRAINT SYSTEM
A system includes a vehicle roof. A track is fixed to the vehicle roof. A seatbelt retractor is engaged with the track and is movable relative to the vehicle roof along the track. The seatbelt retractor may be selectively positioned relative to the vehicle roof.
VEHICLE OCCUPANT RESTRAINT DEVICE
A vehicle occupant restraint device includes a three point seatbelt device that includes shoulder webbing running from one seat width direction end side of an upper section a seatback toward a buckle at another seat width direction end side of a lower section of the seatback, a shoulder webbing anchor that is provided on the one seat width direction end side of the upper section of the seatback, and through which the shoulder webbing is inserted, and a mover device that moves the shoulder webbing anchor toward a seat width direction outer side of the seatback when the seatback, which is configured so as to be capable of reclining from an upright state, has been reclined by at least a predetermined angle or greater with respect to a vertical direction.
VEHICLE BUCKLE ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes a rod, a tube slidably supported by the rod, a seatbelt buckle supported by the tube, and a lock. The tube and the rod are releasably engageable to each other by the lock.
RESTRAINING SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE
A restraining system for restraining an occupant of a vehicle, the system including: an occupant supporting device for supporting the occupant, the occupant supporting device has a longitudinal direction along which an occupant is intended to be positioned; a blanket including at least one restraint belt each including a first end and a second end attachable to attachment members arranged on either side of the occupant supporting device such that each restraint belt extend in a transverse direction across the occupant supporting device, the attachment members are movable such that the position of each restraint belt is adjustable in the longitudinal direction, an activation control unit configured to receive a signal indicative of a vehicle collision, and in response to the received signal control a pre-tension device to increase the tension in the at least one restraint belt.
SLIDABLE SEATBELT ASSEMBLY FOR A WHEELCHAIR
An assembly includes a vehicle roof and a vehicle floor spaced from the vehicle roof. The assembly includes a seatbelt assembly for accommodating a wheelchair. The seatbelt assembly is slidably supported by the vehicle roof and the vehicle floor. The seatbelt assembly is slidable along the vehicle roof and the vehicle floor along a vehicle-longitudinal axis. The seatbelt assembly has a seatbelt webbing elongated in a direction from the vehicle roof to the vehicle floor. The assembly includes a seatbelt buckle slidably supported by the vehicle floor. The seatbelt buckle is slidable relative to the vehicle floor along the vehicle-longitudinal axis.
