Shipping container information recordation techniques
System and method for obtaining and recording information about cargo includes a frame defining a cargo-receivable compartment, a position determining system at least partly on the frame and that allows for determination of position of the frame, an identification system on the frame that obtains information about cargo when present in the compartment, a memory component that receives and records information about position and movement of the frame, and the obtained information about cargo when present in the compartment in association with a unique identification of the frame, and a communications system on the frame to enable communication of information to and from the memory component.
Seat belt buckle presenter assembly
A seat belt buckle presenter assembly (10) has a guide track (40) and a buckle presenter assembly (20). The guide track (40) is anchored to a vehicle seat frame at a first end and a second end. The buckle presenter assembly (10) is secured to and mounted onto the guide track (40) and is movable along the guide track (40) from a stowed position at the first end to an extended position toward the second end. Preferably, the guide track (40) is inclined having the first end of the guide track (40) fixed lower than the second end.
Seat belt assist device, and vehicular seat
Provided are a seat belt assist device and a vehicular seat such that a seat belt can be moved to a position easily accessible by a seated person in a compact and simple configuration. A seat belt assist device is configured to move at least a part of a seat belt of a seat for a vehicle to a position easily accessible by a seated person, and is provided with a movable member that supports a part of the seat belt and that moves between a normal position and a protruded position that protrudes beyond the normal position. The movable member is disposed on an upper surface of a seat back of the seat, with an end portion thereof at the door side of the vehicle being disposed toward an end of the upper surface of the seat back in a right and left direction, and with a forward end disposed rearward of a front end surface of the upper surface of the seat back.
FOUR-POINT VEHICLE HARNESS
A vehicle includes a vehicle body. The vehicle includes a first track and a second track supported by the vehicle body. The first track and the second track are elongated along a longitudinal axis. The vehicle includes a third track and a fourth track supported by the vehicle body. The third track and the fourth track are elongated along a vertical axis. The vehicle includes a harness having a first webbing movable along the first track, a second webbing movable along the second track, a third webbing movable along the third track, and a fourth webbing movable along the fourth track.
Seat belt device
In a seat belt device, when a buckle cover is moved obliquely upward in a vehicle forward direction relative to a buckle guide and the buckle cover reaches a moving endpoint at a vehicle upper side relative to the buckle guide, cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover become sandwiched between vehicle lower side surfaces of guide-side engagement portions of the buckle guide, and the outside surfaces of guide long-side wall portions of the buckle guide. Due to this, not only movement of the cover-side engagement portions of the buckle cover in the vehicle upward direction but also movement of the cover-side engagement portions outwards in the thickness directions of the cross-sectional shapes of the buckle cover and the buckle guide are restrained by the guide-side engagement portions.
BUCKLE DEVICE
A lift-up buckle device has a buckle with which is engaged a tongue through which a webbing, which is applied to a vehicle occupant, is inserted; wires that are made of metal, and whose longitudinal direction one end portions are fixed to the buckle, and that move together with the buckle; a driving portion that is connected to longitudinal direction other end portions of the wires, and that move the wires in a longitudinal direction; a wire guide that is made of metal and holds the wires in a curved state; a guide groove that is formed in the wire guide and in which the wires are inserted; and a resin member that is provided at an interior of the guide groove and abuts the wires.
ADAPTIVE SEATBELT GEOMETRY COMPRISING A WEBBING GUIDE
Various systems and methods are presented regarding automatically controlling a position of a seat belt located onboard a vehicle, wherein the position is controlled in accordance with physiology of an occupant utilizing the seat belt. By adjusting the position of the seat belt in accordance with the occupant's physiology, the seat belt system can be configured to improve operation of the seat belt in restraining the occupant during vehicle deceleration. Position of the seat belt can be controlled by a guidance device comprising a positionable guide pin which changes alignment of the seatbelt. A motor can be utilized to control positioning of the pin, wherein the motor can be controlled by a system configured to receive data from one or more sensors regarding any of the occupant's physiology, operation of the seat belt, position of the pin, and suchlike.
TORSO SEATBELT SYSTEM
A seat includes a seat base including a first side and a second side, and a seat back including a first side portion and a second side portion. The seat back is pivotable between an upright configuration and a highly reclined configuration. A torso belt system is arranged at the seat system. The torso belt system includes a retractor mechanism positioned adjacent to one of the seat base and the seat back. An amount of flexible webbing includes a first end anchored at the retractor mechanism and a second end. A selectable anchor is connectable to the second end of the amount of flexible webbing. The selectable anchor is selectively arranged in a first position at the seat base when the seat back is in the upright seating configuration and in a second position at the seat back when the seat back is in the highly reclined seating configuration.
System and method for improving safety of occupant by vehicle seat belt
A system for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt, which can provide adaptive protection for an occupant in different seat positions and different sitting postures is provided. A method for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt is also provided, along with a computer-readable medium. The a system for improving safety of an occupant by a vehicle seat belt includes an in-vehicle observation system, an active seat belt system, and an integrated safety domain control unit. The integrated safety domain control unit formulates a vehicle seat belt protection strategy based on received data from the in-vehicle observation system, and a slack state of an active retractor and a positional state of an active lift buckle in the active seat belt system, to implement selective tightening or loosening of the active retractor and/or selective lifting or lowering of the active lift buckle.
