VEHICLE SEAT
A vehicle seat includes: a seat cushion; a seat back; a side cover provided at a side of the seat cushion and having a recess and a protrusion; a first operation lever provided in the recess; and a second operation lever provided in the recess between the first operation lever and the seat cushion. The protrusion is positioned behind the first operation lever and is disposed such that when a seat belt is fastened, the webbing of the seat belt is abutted against the protrusion. The rear side face of the first operation lever is positioned inside a side face of the protrusion and the rear upper face of the first operation lever is positioned below the upper face of the protrusion.
Seat belt twist link
Described are seat belt connection assemblies having a seat belt twist link integrally formed as a single piece construction having a mounting portion and a linking portion connected by a twist portion. A plane of the mounting portion is positioned at approximately a right angle to a plane of the linking portion. The linking portion has a planar section and a curled section, and a slot that extends through at least some of the planar section and the curled section. The curled section of the linking portion has a pronged end that extends along sides of the slot.
Vehicle seat with a rotatable belt guide
There is provided a vehicle seat including: a seat main body including a seating portion, a seat back that supports an upper body of the vehicle occupant seated on the seating portion, and a headrest that is provided at an upper side of the seat back and supports a head portion of the vehicle occupant; a seatbelt that restrains the upper body of the vehicle occupant with respect to the seat back; a belt guide portion that is provided at an upper portion of the seat back or at the headrest, and through which the seatbelt is inserted, and that guides the seatbelt; and a rotating portion that, following movement of a shoulder portion of the vehicle occupant, changes a direction of guiding the seatbelt by rotating the belt guide portion by external force applied due to tension of the seatbelt.
MOTOR VEHICLE WITH HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE SEAT
A motor vehicle includes a vehicle body, a drive motor, particularly an electric motor and/or a combustion engine, a seat with a frame, and a mechanism for adjusting the height of the seat. The mechanism includes a front lever and a rear lever, each fixed in articulated manner to the frame via an upper articulated joint and to a retaining structure via a lower articulated joint so that swiveling of the front and rear levers causes a height adjustment of the seat. An actuator affects motorized adjustment of the seat height. An auxiliary mechanism supplements the front and rear levers such that a force, particularly a turning moment, applied to the auxiliary mechanism by the actuator adjust the height of the seat.
Four-point seatbelt device
In a four-point seatbelt device including a three-point seatbelt and an automatic belt, the automatic belt is actuated to dispose an anchor at a standby position after the three-point seatbelt has been placed over an occupant. During this operation, the anchor is disposed further to a rear side than a field of vision of the occupant facing toward a front side, for example, and a second webbing is placed in standby in an unrestrained state with respect to the occupant. Moreover, in a case in which a vehicle collision has been predicted by a PCS control section, the automatic belt is actuated to place the second webbing over the occupant automatically.
Four-point seat belt device
A four-point seat belt device includes two shoulder belts to press the shoulders of a passenger sitting in a seat, a restraint element extending between the two shoulder belts, and a driving unit arrangement to perform winding of the belts upon detection of a collision.
Safe belt
A vehicle seat belt system (20) has a seat belt webbing (22) which is attached to a tongue (30) that fastens into a buckle mechanism (6) fixed to a load bearing part of the vehicle. The belt system (20) has a seat belt retractor (40), a seat belt webbing (22) with a lap belt portion (23) appropriately anchored and shoulder harness portion (25), a self-adjustable webbing guide (65) and a vertical strap webbing (55). The self-adjusting webbing guide (65) includes a pivoting guide (66) connected to a locking mechanism (70) activated by a forward movement of the occupant (1, 100) extending the shoulder webbing (25).
Safety restraint system with inflatable pelvis restraint device
A safety restraint system for a vehicle seat having a seat back, a seat cushion and a frame includes an inflatable pelvis restraint device having a flexible member extending laterally across the seat cushion and having a first end and a second end. The flexible member includes at least a portion that is inflatable for increasing a height of the seat proximate a forward edge of the seat. In one embodiment, both the first and second ends are attached to the frame. In another embodiment, the safety restraint system includes a continuous webbing that defines a pelvis restraint portion, a lap belt portion and a shoulder belt portion. The lap belt portion, the shoulder belt portion, or both may be additionally inflatable.
Safety belt retracting and locking apparatus and automobile seat
A seat belt retracting and locking apparatus and an automotive seat including a seat belt retractor, a sensor having a sensing seat and a sensing ball, and a locking mechanism. When the locking mechanism is in a locking state, the sensing seat is fixed in an initial position. When the locking mechanism is in an unlocking state, the sensing seat is rotatable. When the seat belt retracting and locking apparatus and the automotive seat are in a normal state, the sensing seat is locked in the initial position by the locking mechanism, and the angle and the position of the sensing seat are not affected by a change in the speed of a vehicle, so that relative positions between the sensing ball, a pawl, and a ratchet do not change, thereby improving the stability of the performance of the apparatus and seat.
