Seat belt safety apparatus for vehicle
A seat belt safety apparatus for a vehicle is provided and implements both of the functions of a retractor and a pretensioner in a structure with a seat belt disposed in a seat. The functions of a retractor and a pretensioner are separated in the seat belt safety apparatus to reduce the installation space.
Seatbelt device for vehicle
A seatbelt device for a vehicle comprises a belt which restrains an occupant, a retractor which supports the belt so as to wind up one end of the belt, a frictional-force applier which is configured to apply a frictional force to the belt by contacting the belt, and an actuator to actuate the frictional-force applier so as to change the frictional force.
Retractor pretensioner assembly
A seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly for use in a vehicle is provided. The seatbelt pretensioning retractor assembly includes a housing adapted for being mounted to a frame and having an interior cavity, a pretensioner tube having an arcuate and curved shape, a sprocket rotatably mounted to the housing and fixedly coupled to a spindle, a rod disposed within the tube and a guide plate having a guide portion and a rod guide. The rod exits the tube along a perimeter of the sprocket, and toward an arcuate landing surface of the guide portion. In addition, the guide plate further includes a couple of tabs and ribs for avoiding rattling of the pretensioner tube in normal use of the retractor assembly.
Vehicle restraint system
A system includes a vehicle roof. A track is fixed to the vehicle roof. A seatbelt retractor is engaged with the track and is movable relative to the vehicle roof along the track. The seatbelt retractor may be selectively positioned relative to the vehicle roof.
Seat integrated belt structure with load taking frame
The invention refers to a load-bearing structural part (2) of a seat structure of a vehicle seat, which has a cavity (21), in which a belt retractor (40) is arranged.
VEHICLE SEAT AND VEHICLE SEAT SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A vehicle seat (10) for a motor vehicle, having a backrest (12), a height-adjustable headrest (14) and a seatbelt guide (22) integrated in the vehicle seat (10) for a seatbelt (18), wherein the height-adjustable headrest (14) is coupled to the backrest (12), and wherein the headrest (14) can be mechanically coupled to a seatbelt guide adjusting mechanism (36), which mechanically adjusts the seatbelt guide (22) when adjusting the height of the headrest (14).
VEHICULAR SEAT BELT DEVICE
A vehicular seat belt device includes a first pretensioner provided in a retractor and configured to apply tensile force to a shoulder belt portion of a webbing, a second pretensioner provided in a belt anchor part and configured to apply tensile force to a lap belt portion of the webbing, a third pretensioner provided in a side portion of the vehicle seat opposite to the belt anchor part and configured to apply tensile force to the lap belt portion via a buckle, and a controller. The controller is configured to activate the first pretensioner at a time of predicting vehicle collision, and activate the second pretensioner and the third pretensioner after detection of collision.
WEBBING RETRACTOR
In a webbing retractor, due to a moving member being moved toward an axial direction distal end side, and first teeth and second teeth of a rotating member piercing the moving member, the rotating member is rotated in a take-up direction. Here, at the moving member, a sectional surface area, in a direction orthogonal to an axis, of a small diameter portion that is at an axial direction distal end side is made to be small as compared with a moving member main body that is at an axial direction proximal end side. Therefore, resistance to movement of the moving member can be reduced.
