Retractor pretensioner assembly
A pretensioner assembly for motor vehicle belt restraint systems is provided. The pretensioner assembly includes a tube in fluid communication with a gas generator and a driving element disposed therein that travels in a first direction in response to actuation of the gas generator. The tube includes a constriction disposed adjacent an exit of the tube. The constriction allows the driving element to pass but prevents a seal member disposed between the generator and the driving element from passing. The constriction provides backpressure on the seal member causing the seal member to expand radially outward. The system can also include a slug member disposed between the seal member and the driving element.
SEAT BELT DEVICE
A seat belt device includes a spindle (11) for retracting a seat belt (13), an electric actuator (55), a pre-tensioner (14) and a power transmission mechanism (20), wherein the power transmission mechanism (20) can reversibly switch the connection and disconnection between the electric actuator (55) and the spindle (11) before the pre-tensioner (14) is activated, while when the pre-tensioner (14) is activated. The power transmission mechanism (20) non-reversibly interrupts the connection between the electric actuator (55) and the spindle (11) via an elastic piece (60) when a torque difference between an actuator-side gear (80) and a spindle-side gear (82) becomes larger than a predetermined value.
METHOD FOR MOUNTING A GAS GENERATOR, AND SUBASSEMBLY COMPRISING A GAS GENERATOR
In the method for mounting an inflator (12) within a tube (14), especially of a belt tensioner, wherein an end portion (28) of the tube (14) is formed radially inwardly so that a first contact surface (30) directed to the interior of the tube (14) occurs, prior to forming an annular stabilizing disk (34) is arranged between the first contact surface (30) and a second contact surface (32) configured at the inflator (12).
Tensioning device for a seat belt component
A seat belt tensioning device with a gas generator for generating a compressed gas, a piston driven by the compressed gas, a tension cable which is connected to the piston and is connectable to a seat belt component to be set into a tensioning movement, a tensioner tube for receiving and guiding the piston, and a guide block that forms a cable guide and in which a receptacle receiving the gas generator and a pressure chamber connected in terms of flow to the receptacle are formed, wherein the guide block is connected to the tensioner tube, and the tension cable runs rectilinearly in a piston movement direction from the tensioner tube through the pressure chamber, wherein the guide block forms a linear guide adjoining the pressure chamber such that the tension cable can be led out of the guide block on the side opposite the tensioner tube.
BELT RETRACTOR FOR A SEAT BELT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
The invention relates to a belt retractor for a seatbelt of a motor vehicle, comprising a belt shaft which is rotatably mounted in a housing frame, a profile head which can be locked with respect to the housing frame, a multi-stage first force-limiting device, wherein the first force-limiting device is coupled to the profile head and to the belt shaft, wherein the first force-limiting device allows a force-limited relative rotation of the belt shaft with respect to the locked profile head, and comprising at least one second force-limiting device, wherein, in an initial state, the second force-limiting device is decoupled, so that the force-limited relative rotation of the belt shaft with respect to the locked profile head takes place without a force-limited involvement of the second force-limiting device.
Seat belt pretensioner
A seat belt pretensioner for a seat belt device in a vehicle, the pretensioner including a frame, a ball housing attached to the frame and a drive wheel located within the ball housing. A spool is connected to the drive wheel and is fixed to one end of a seat belt webbing so that the webbing may be wound around the spool. The pretensioner further includes a pipe connected to the ball housing and a gas generator connected to the pipe. At least one power transmission element is carried in the pipe and is driven by gas provided from the gas generator to contact the drive wheel and rotate the spool to retract the seat belt. A seal member is located between the at least one power transmission element and the gas generator. The seal member is sized to plug the pipe at an inlet to the ball housing.
Seatback
A seatback with a built-in retractor for a seat belt includes a first bracket configured to receive a tension acting on the retractor via the seat belt, and a second bracket provided on a belt discharge port side of the retractor and configured to hold a posture of the retractor. A portion of the second bracket having the smallest separation distance from the seat belt is constituted with a curved surface.
Belt retractor
The present invention relates to a belt retractor for a safety belt device, comprising a shaft for winding a belt, a frame, an opening in the frame, wherein the shaft extends through the opening, a locking element, and an internal toothing, wherein the locking element engages in the internal toothing to prevent the shaft from rotating in a direction of rotation, wherein the internal toothing is formed in a plate, and the plate is fastened to the frame, without a form-fitting connection with an inner contour of the opening.
GAS GENERATOR AND FIXING STRUCTURE OF GAS GENERATOR
The gas generator includes an ignition device and a case, the case including a side wall portion, an opening portion, and a closing portion closing a tip end side of the side wall portion, the opening portion being connected to the ignition device, closing portion includes, an annular inclination portion connected to the tip end side of the side wall portion, and formed in a funnel shape inclined to radially converge to an inner side of the case from a base end side toward a tip end side, and a lid portion connected to the tip end side of the annular inclination portion, the annular inclination portion and the lid portion are integrally formed, and the lid portion is formed to have a thickness smaller than a thickness of the annular inclination portion, except for an end portion of the lid portion connected to the annular inclination portion.
Webbing take-up device
A webbing take-up device includes: a spool that enables pull-out and take-up of a webbing; a rotor disposed opposite from the spool, rotation of the rotor being impeded at a time of emergency; a wire of which a proximal end portion is retained at the rotor, at least a distal end portion of the wire being retained at the spool, the wire being disposed between the rotor and the spool, wherein the webbing is pulled out at a time of emergency of a vehicle, the wire being deformed and being wound onto a winding portion of the spool; and a retreat portion provided at the winding portion, the distal end portion of the wire being disposed at the retreat portion in a case in which the wire is wound onto the winding portion.
