A gear mechanism is installed at one side of the winding drum through a force limiting mechanism and comprises a stop wheel and a ball gear which are riveted and fixedly connected in the axial direction. The stop wheel is rotatably installed on the frame, and the ball gear comprises a penetrating shaft hole. The force limiting mechanism is inserted into the shaft hole in the axial direction and both ends of the force limiting mechanism are respectively connected with the winding drum and the gear mechanism to prevent passengers from being excessively restrained by realizing the force limiting function. The gear mechanism and the force limiting mechanism are directly assembled to the winding drum, with simple steps and few independent components.

Safety belt retractor and safety belt assembly

The present invention relates to a safety belt retractor, including a bracket, a spool, a locking device, a vehicle sensing device with an adaptive vehicle sensing function and a vehicle sensing adaptivity suppression device. The vehicle sensing adaptivity suppression device includes a driven part (8) and a suppression part (7) that can be held on the driven part by an adhesive force. The driven part has a sliding track, and the suppression part has a sliding portion which can slide on the sliding track against the adhesive force. The suppression part has a retainer, and a sensing seat has a counter retainer that cooperates with the retainer. A retaining connection isn't formed when the suppression part is in the first end position, and is formed when the suppression part leaves away from the first end position to a predetermined extent. Here, the mechanism for achieving the vehicle sensing adaptivity suppression function is simple in structure and low in cost, and can effectively suppress the adaptivity of the vehicle sensing function. The present invention further relates to a safety belt assembly comprising such a safety belt assembly.

Belt retractor with two-part tensioning drive wheel

A belt retractor having a belt shaft having a shaft body, a profile head and a torsion bar, wherein the torsion bar arranged in the shaft body is connected on one end to the shaft body and on a second end to the profile head, and the profile head can be securely attached to the vehicle, and having a belt pretensioner, wherein a pretensioner drive wheel of the belt pretensioner is directly connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the profile head of the belt shaft, and mass bodies can be engaged with the pretensioner drive wheel so as to transmit force to drive the belt shaft in winding direction. The pretensioner drive wheel (16) is configured by means of two parts, the profile head (1) of the belt shaft and a push-on ring (2) that is pushed onto the profile head (1) and is positively and non-positively connected thereto, wherein respectively mutually opposite dome-shaped partial receiving socket segments (3), which form together receiving sockets for the mass bodies, are formed on the profile head (1) and on the push-on ring (2).

A seatback portion has a tether passageway defined therein from proximate an upper section to proximate a lower section thereof. A seatbelt tether includes a tensioning mechanism, a tether ring and a connecting portion that extends from the tether ring to the tensioning mechanism. The connecting portion extends through the tether passageway with the tether ring located at the upper section outside the seatback portion. The tether ring is shaped and dimension to slide-ably receive a seatbelt. The tensioning mechanism selectively applies tension to the tether ring. In a non-tensioned state the tether ring is movable to an upper outboard side of the seatback portion. In a tensioned state the tether ring is pulled toward a headrest supporting section of the seatback portion inboard and away from the upper outboard side of the seatback portion.

WEBBING TAKE-UP DEVICE

A webbing take-up device includes clutch weights. The clutch weights are supported at the base and include engaging portions. The clutch weights move to a rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotated, and are capable of transmitting rotary force applied to the base to the spool. The webbing take-up device is provided with a stopper that is capable of relative rotating relative to the base and that is provided with engaged holes, each including an allowing portion and a restricting portion. The allowing portions allow movement of the engaging portions to the rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotating to one side. The restricting portions restrict movement of the engaging portions to the rotation diameter direction outer side when the base is rotating to the other side. The restricting portions are formed integrally with the allowing portions.

Force-limiting device for a seat belt system

A force-limiting device (4) for a seat belt device having at least two parts (5, 11, 15) controlled with a frequency-dependent, defined movement for energy absorption, wherein the parts (5, 11, 15) that move the parts (5, 11, 15) undergo an undulating movement (Q) directed perpendicular to the feed movement (V) in the course of which the gearings (8, 10, 18, 19) alternatingly engage and disengage. An open spring washer exerts force to move the parts (5, 11, 15) toward one another and can be automatically increased after a preset belt extraction length. The spring washer (6) applies a varying spring force to the parts (5, 11, 15) moving toward one another during the movement.
