Covert Vehicle Tracking and Immobilization System
A vehicle immobilization system which includes electronic systems mounted in the vehicle rear-view housing. The vehicle becomes disabled, at predetermined conditions, when a signal from a remote source is transmitted to the vehicle.
Vehicle security system
This invention relates to security systems. Previously, vehicle vandals and thieves were difficult to stop. Embodiments of the present invention use a vehicle security system (100) includes at least two image capture devices (ICD), sensors, a global positioning system tracking module (GPSTM), a control module (CM), and a monitoring device. The ICD are positioned at predetermined locations of the vehicle for capturing and transmitting images of a target object. The CM receives the captured images and sensor data variables. The CM analyzes the received images and sensor data variables based on predefined criteria to trigger auxiliary units. The CM transmits the images and sensor data variables based on the predefined criteria to the monitoring device. A graphical user interface displays the images for monitoring the vehicle and notifies the user.
ACTIVE SAFETY CONTROL SYSTEM
Systems and methods are disclosed for determining, and displaying, the regulatory compliance status of a motorized vehicle, a driver of a motorized vehicle, or a non-vehicle machine. An authorized agent, such as a law enforcement officer, can perform a remotely-initiated safe stop of a motorized vehicle to prevent a high-speed chase. A system management center can receive, store, and transmit regulatory compliance records indicating the regulatory compliance status of drivers, motorized vehicles, and non-vehicle machines. A motorized vehicle can detect, and report, a driver tail-gating the motorized vehicle. The regulatory compliance history of drivers, motorized vehicles, and non-vehicle machines can be queried by authorized users.
Auto-immobilization of machines capable of moving
In one example embodiment, a computer-implemented method and system for immobilization of machines capable of moving are disclosed. The method for immobilization of machines capable of moving includes detecting an event by a tracking device; providing one or more rules to evaluate the detected event; evaluating the detected event using the one or more rules; and triggering an action type based on the outcome of the evaluation. The system for immobilization of machines capable of moving includes a machine capable of moving, a tracking device including at least one processor and logic, a starter relay and a fuel pump relay, wherein the tracking device detects an event; evaluates the detected event using one or more rules provided to evaluate the detected event; and triggers an action type based on the outcome of the evaluation.

Control device, control method, program, and control system
A control device includes an acquisition unit acquiring a condition of a vehicle upon reception of a control request, an execution ability determination unit determining whether or not the vehicle is in a condition where the control request can be executed safely, an execution control unit executing the control request when the vehicle is determined to be in a condition where the control request can be executed safely, and a changeover control unit implementing control to change over the condition of the vehicle to a condition where the control request can be executed safely. When the vehicle is in a condition where the control request cannot be executed safely, the changeover control unit is activated. After the vehicle becomes in a condition where the control request can be executed safely, the execution control unit executes the control request.
SECURITY NOTIFICATION BASED ON BIOMETRIC IDENTIFIER
Methods and apparatuses for providing security notification based on biometric identifier are described, in which one or more biometric information of a person may be utilized to permit or prohibit the person to access the vehicle. As such, the person may not access (or operate) the vehicle without satisfying security measures based on his/her biometric identifier generated from various biological information collected from the person. When the person is not authorized to access the vehicle, the security measures may transmit a security notification to an owner of the vehicle (e.g., a mobile device of the owner, an account of the owner) such that the owner may take appropriate steps in response to receiving the security notification. Such a notification may include the biometric information of the person, other information collected from the sensing component, a set of options for the owner to select from, among others.
Vehicle Throttle Locking Circuit and Method Thereof
A vehicle throttle locking circuit and method are provided. A control unit receives detection voltages from a pedal sensor and, when a clamping actuation signal is ON, digital clamping voltages are gradually reduced according to the detection voltages. A D/A conversion unit converts the digital clamping voltages to analog clamping voltages. A variable voltage clamping unit clamps the detection voltages according to the analog clamping voltages. The gradual reduction of the digital clamping voltages are stopped when the detection voltages are already clamped at an idle condition so that the pedal is effectively locked at the idle condition. As such, the present invention not only provides anti-theft function, but also avoids traffic accident and hazard to the safety of the driver or passers due to the vehicle's sudden loss of power.
Vehicle Safety System
A vehicle safety system. The vehicle safety system includes a control unit, a mobile device receiver, and a speed sensor. The control unit is operably connected to a vehicle with which the system is to be used. During use of the system, the mobile device receiver registers a mobile device coupled thereto, and the control unit deactivates the vehicle if the mobile device is removed from the mobile device receiver when the vehicle is in motion and may send an alert to an authority if a particular speed is exceeded.
A VEHICLE ANTI-THEFT DEVICE
An anti-theft device 10 is operatively connected to a vehicle drivetrain, downstream of a power plant. To this end, a gear 12 is mounted for rotation together with a driveshaft 13. The device 10 further includes a pivotally mounted locking pawl 17 which is movable relative to the gear 12 between an open position in which a profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 is spaced away from a periphery of the gear 12 such that the gear 12 is permitted to rotate freely together with the driveshaft 13, and a locked position, in which the profiled head 18 of the pawl 17 engages the gear 12 and prevents rotation thereof, thereby locking the driveshaft 13 in position. The device includes an actuator 23 and ECU 22 in a tamper-proof casing 27. The ECU controls engagement of the pawl depending upon a position of a handbrake and ignition switch.
