Method for immobilization, clutch, vehicle transmission, drive unit, and vehicle

A method for immobilizing a vehicle, in particular an electric bicycle. A drive train of the vehicle includes a clutch that includes a first clutch component and a second clutch component that are situated coaxially with respect to one another and configured to be rotatably fixedly connected to one another by mechanical contact in at least one predefined rotational direction. The method includes: detecting an input of a user for activating an immobilizer, and actuating an actuator as a function of the detected input, as the result of which the first clutch component and/or the second clutch component are/is displaced in the axial direction, as the result of which the mechanical contact between the first clutch component and the second clutch component is separated.

RESPONSE VEHICLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A response scene management system includes a first response vehicle including a first communications device and a second response vehicle include a second communications device. The first communications device and the second communications device are configured to facilitate forming a localized wireless communication network while at a scene.

A method for unlocking and enabling an engine start a motor vehicle using a vehicle key involves the motor vehicle having at least one outer node for wireless connection with the vehicle key outside an interior of the motor vehicle, at least one inner node for wireless connection with the vehicle key inside the interior of the motor vehicle, and a control system. The method involves first producing a wireless connection between the vehicle key and the outer node, and then unlocking the motor vehicle. The method then involves forcibly ending the existing wireless connection between the vehicle key and the outer node and then forcibly producing a new wireless connection between the vehicle key and the inner node.

A hydraulic system of a power transmission has a reservoir, a pump and, downstream of the latter, a junction point, from which a first and a second branch start; the first branch is configured to perform a cooling and/or lubricating function on a part of the transmission; the second branch performs an actuating function by means of a hydraulic actuator; the system further has a first and a second control valve arranged along the first and the second branch, respectively, and are equal to each other; each of them has a first port connected to the junction point, a second port connected to the reservoir, and a third port; the latter, in the first control valve, supplies the part to be cooled/lubricated and, in the second control valve, communicates with a chamber of the hydraulic actuator for pressurizing such chamber.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMMOBILIZING A VEHICLE

A method of immobilizing a vehicle having a powertrain configured to provide vehicle propulsion includes detecting, via an electronic controller, vehicle systems being enabled by a vehicle key. The method also includes detecting the vehicle being operated in standard production mode, wherein a vehicle mode selector is enabled to shift the powertrain between vehicle propulsion and park modes. The method additionally includes detecting execution of a first predefined pattern, via the vehicle mode selector, indicative of a vehicle immobilization mode. The method also includes activating the vehicle immobilization mode in response to the detected enablement of the vehicle systems, operation of the vehicle in standard production mode, and execution of the first predefined pattern via the vehicle mode selector. The vehicle immobilization mode includes being activated to block the vehicle propulsion and the vehicle park mode being maintained regardless of an operator command to the contrary.

ENHANCED VEHICLE SECUREMENT SYSTEM
20260103166 · 2026-04-16 ·

A vehicle system includes a controller to detect a key associated with the vehicle, detect if a driver door is ajar/removed, and initiate an automatic vehicle securement feature, if (i) user-requested, or (ii) a shifter is moved to Park and the driver door is ajar or removed, and engage a park pawl to thereby prevent the vehicle from driving away. The controller monitors a driver presence sensor, physically locks the shifter while the vehicle is in Park and keeps the park pawl engaged without regard to a requested non-park state from the shifter, if (i) the driver presence transitions to not present or (ii) a key status indicates the key status transitions to not present. The controller requests a key search if the driver presence transitions to present, and disengages the park pawl in response to the requested non-park state when the requested key search indicates the key is present.
