User authentication activation systems and methods
A vehicle occupant identification system includes a detection system configured to detect that an individual is proximate a vehicle. The detection system is configured to detect the proximity of an individual by detecting at least one of a door unlock, a key fob, a door opening, a door closing, a seated passenger, and an individual proximate the vehicle. A controller is operably coupled with the detection system and is configured to activate an identification system. The identification system includes an imager configured to illuminate an eye of an occupant of the vehicle and capture at least one image of an iris and a pupil of the eye. A processor is configured to compare the at least one image of the iris of the eye of the occupant with previously stored iris information to identify the occupant and activate the vehicle.
OBD device vehicle security alarm detection
Embodiments for an on-board diagnostics (OBD) device are provided herein. The OBD device can monitor a voltage of a battery power contact via a voltage sensor and determine based on changes in the voltage whether a vehicle security alarm of a vehicle has been set-off. If it is determined that the vehicle alarm has been set-off, the OBD device can send an alert to a remote device via a wireless transceiver, wherein the alert indicates that the vehicle security alarm has been set-off.
Catalytic converter theft prevention and recovery
A tethered device for prevention and recovery of a vehicle component (e.g., a catalytic converter) is provided herein. The tethered device comprises a housing having an exterior surface and defining an interior cavity. The tethered device further comprises an electronic component disposed within the interior cavity. The tethered device further comprises a plurality of spacers extending from the exterior surface and configured to be adjacent to the vehicle component. The plurality of spacers defines a channel configured to promote airflow between the tethered device and the vehicle component thereby minimizing heat transfer between the tethered device and the vehicle component.
Unlocking an electric bicycle via a mounted device
Various embodiments provide for a bike-supported communication network that manages and facilitates communications between components of an electric bicycle and a wireless network. In some embodiments, the systems and methods determine that a mobile device associated with the electric bicycle is in contact with a mount disposed on the electric bicycle, and cause a lock assembly to unlock the electric bicycle in response to the determination that the mobile device is in contact with the mount.
Vehicle key fob management
Upon detecting that a vehicle is parked, based on data from at least one of a sensor and a component in the vehicle, determine a location of the vehicle. Upon detecting that a vehicle operator has exited the vehicle, based on data from at least one of a sensor and a component in the vehicle, determine if the key fob is in the vehicle. Upon detecting that the key fob is in the vehicle, and based on the location of the vehicle, schedule a message to a user device.
Systems and methods for providing security to a vehicle
The systems and methods disclosed herein are configured to provide security to a vehicle. A system includes a point measurement device inside a space of a vehicle. The system identifies a threat if points that differ from a calibrated set of points are localized in an area of the space.
Autonomous vehicle extended reality environments
Autonomous vehicle methods and systems are described herein for communicating with an autonomous or semi-autonomous vehicle to remotely control operation of the vehicle, to detect and remove unauthorized passengers, to deliver loads, to receive registration information for the vehicle, to provide accessibility information to the vehicle, and/or to receive sensor or other environmental data to integrate with an electronic game or other extended reality experience.
VEHICLE STATE PRESENTATION SYSTEM, VEHICLE, TERMINAL DEVICE, AND VEHICLE STATE PRESENTATION METHOD
A terminal device separate from a vehicle includes a receiver that receives a notification signal from the vehicle indicating that the vehicle is in a first state different from a second state, a notification unit that notifies a user of the terminal device of the first state based on the notification signal, an input unit that receives, from the user of the terminal device, an input commanding the first state to be maintained, and a transmitter that transmits a signal to the vehicle based on the input received by the input unit. The vehicle includes a control unit that performs control that maintains the first state after lapse of a predetermined time from a time that the notification unit of the terminal device notifies of the first state of the vehicle when a reception unit of the vehicle receives the signal transmitted from the transmitter within the predetermined time.
CLOUD-CONTROLLED VEHICLE SECURITY SYSTEM
Incidents may be monitored using a camera in response to an activation of a trigger device. Trigger data may be received over a communication network in response to activation of a trigger device disposed within a first area of a vehicle. A camera disposed within a second area of the vehicle may be controlled over the communication network in response to receiving the trigger data, the controlling causing the camera to capture sensor information of a passenger of the vehicle. Passenger information of the passenger of the vehicle may be obtained in response to receiving the trigger data. An alert notification may be generated. The alert notification may comprise at least a portion of the sensor information of the passenger, and the alert notification may be capable of initiating one or more incident actions associated with the passenger.
Alarm, safety device and device for expelling attackers for motor vehicles
An alarm, safety device and device for expelling attackers for vehicles, to protect the vehicle and its occupants when stopped, parked or moving, containing a sound alarm, a lighting alarm, a surveillance camera inside the vehicle for face recognition of a non-authorized driver, a remote system for sending information to the police authority, having a smoke release system, surveillance cameras and sensors installed within boxes at external locations of the vehicle. The surveillance cameras monitor the external activity of the vehicle, the images as received by the cameras being analyzed in real time by an internal processing center, provided with an artificial intelligence processor, processing those images by a public domain algorithm, trained for recognizing violence-related objects, wherein the images are processed and transformed into data matrices which are submitted to a neural open code network, for recognizing the presence of violence-related objects in the hands of a person in or near the vehicle.
