ARRANGEMENT FOR MONITORING FUNCTIONS OF A WORK MACHINE
An arrangement for monitoring functions of a work machine comprises an electronically readable identification means that is assigned to identifier associated with an operator of the work machine; a user interface; a processor; and at least one control device, wherein the at least one control device is configured to control operations of the work machine or an implement coupled to the work machine in response to receipt of an output signal generated by the processor. The processor is configured to execute a set of instructions stored on a memory such that when executed the processor is programmed to: read out the electronically readable identifier and obtain, via the user interface, an input selection of a desired device function assigned in an authorization database to the electronically readable identifier and to activate a desired function for a limited time.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A vehicle control system includes a vehicle control apparatus that controls in-vehicle devices; and an electronic key and a portable device (smartphone) which are carried by a user. The portable device stores an in-vehicle device to be activated before the user gets in a vehicle among the in-vehicle devices, as personal setting data set by the user. When the portable device performs communication with the electronic key and establishes the communication, the portable device transmits the personal setting data to the electronic key. The electronic key transmits the personal setting data received from the portable device, to the vehicle control apparatus. Based on the personal setting data transmitted from the electronic key, the vehicle control apparatus activates the in-vehicle device set in the personal setting data, before the user gets in the vehicle.
Apparatus for controlling seat of vehicle, system having the same, and method thereof
An apparatus for controlling a seat of a vehicle, a system having the same, and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus for controlling a seat of a vehicle includes a digital key positioning device to measure a position of a digital key inside the vehicle and the number of the digital key, an occupant sensor to sense an occupant condition inside the vehicle, a controller to determine a target for seat-controlling based on the position of the digital key, the number of the digital key, and the occupant condition, and a seat controller to control a position of a seat using seat control information, which is received from the digital key, for each user.
VEHICLES AND CLOUD SYSTEMS FOR SHARING E-KEYS TO ACCESS AND USE VEHICLES
A vehicle configured to communicate with a server of a cloud system to enable access to use the vehicle via one or more electronic keys is provided. The vehicle includes electronics and a subsystem of the vehicle for enabling unlocking of the vehicle. The subsystem is interfaced with the electronics and a subsystem of the vehicle for enabling starting of the vehicle for use of the vehicle. The vehicle further includes communications circuitry that is interfaced with electronics of the vehicle. The communications circuitry is programmable to communicate with the server of the cloud system and communicate with a mobile device. The communications circuitry of the vehicle is configured to receive a request from the mobile device for unlocking of the vehicle. The request from the mobile device includes coded data obtained by the mobile device from the server to enable sending the request to the vehicle. The coded data is associated with privileges for use of the vehicle. The privileges are defined for the coded data, and the vehicle is configured to receive information from the server to authenticate the request by the mobile device. And, if the request is authentic, the mobile device is provided with data to enable an electronic key to use the vehicle, and the electronics of the vehicle instructs the subsystem of the vehicle to enable unlocking of the vehicle and enable starting of the vehicle for use of the vehicle via the electronic key consistent with the privileges of the coded data.
KEY INFORMATION SHARING SYSTEM, DELIVERY DEVICE AND USER TERMINAL
A key information sharing system includes a delivery device that delivers key information as first information for a control device equipped in an object and a user terminal that receives the first information delivered from the delivery device. The delivery device adds second information that allows the first information to be transferred between the user terminal and a third-party terminal without the delivery device, to the first information to be delivered to the user terminal. The user terminal transmits the first information to the third-party terminal in response to an input operation by a user, when the user terminal receives the first information to which the second information has been added.
On-demand driver systems and methods
Example on-demand driver (ODD) systems and methods are described herein. An example method includes generating, with an ODD system, a softkey for a vehicle associated with an agreement between a driver-in-need (DIN) and an ODD, monitoring, with the ODD system, a location of an ODD device carried by the ODD, and transmitting, with the ODD system, the softkey to the ODD device when the ODD device is detected as being within a proximity of the vehicle. In the example method, the softkey is used to unlock the vehicle.
Method and device for sharing functions of smart key
A device for providing information about a smart key for use in vehicles includes a communicator which receives information about at least one function, performed by the smart key, of controlling a vehicle; and a controller which sets a usage restriction for the at least one function. The communicator may provide information about the at least one function including the usage restriction to an external device.
VEHICLE, IN-VEHICLE DEVICE, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD
A vehicle configured to cancel restriction of at least one function, which includes restriction of a function enabling an actuation of a power unit of the vehicle, by unlock of a first key, the vehicle performing: receiving a registration request of a second key that is an electronic key from a communication terminal by short distance wireless communication, determining, on condition that the vehicle is unlocked by the first key, whether to accept the received registration request, and authenticating the second key concerning the registration request in a case where it is determined to accept the registration request and registering the authenticated second key.
ENTRY SUPPORT SYSTEM, ENTRY SUPPORT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An entry support system includes: a first identification information acquisition unit which acquires first identification information of a first related person in a first predetermined relation with a registered user; a first related person authentication unit which determines whether or not an externally located person is the first related person when the externally located person is recognized by an externally located person recognition unit in a state where an internal user determined as the registered user by a registered user authentication unit is recognized by an internal user recognition unit; and an entry permission unit which executes entry permission processing for enabling entry of the externally located person to a closed space from an entrance, when the externally located person is determined as the first related person by the first related person authentication unit.
