Methods and systems for a complete vehicle ecosystem are provided. Specifically, systems that when taken alone, or together, provide an individual or group of individuals with an intuitive and comfortable vehicular environment. The present disclosure includes a system that provides various outputs based on a user profile and determined context. An output provided by the present disclosure can change a configuration of a vehicle, device, building, and/or a system associated with the user profile. The configurations can include comfort and interface settings that can be adjusted based on the user profile information. Further, the user profiles can track health data related to the user and make adjustments to the configuration to assist the health of the user.

Vehicle control device, vehicle control method, and non-transitory computer readable medium storing vehicle control program

A vehicle control device includes: a speech acquiring section that acquires speech data related to a speech of a speaker; a state acquiring section that acquires information indicating whether or not a driver attempting to start driving a vehicle is in an intoxicated state based on the speech data; and a control section configured to limit a start operation of the vehicle in a case in which the information indicates that the driver is in the intoxicated state, the start operation being an operation performed by the driver with respect to the vehicle to start driving the vehicle.

To determine whether a user is authorized to make a particular audio request during navigation, a client device receives a request for navigation directions from a starting location to a destination location. The client device provides a set of navigation directions for traversing to the destination location along a route. During a navigation session, an audio request related to the route is received from a user. The client device determines an authorization level of the user based on the audio request, and provides a response to the request based on the authorization level of the user.

Automated door system

Methods and systems are provided for an automated door system for a vehicle. In one example, the method for a vehicle may include operating an automated door system to enable hands-free actuation of a set of door vehicles while the height of the vehicle is not changing and when the vehicle height is changing, suspending operation of the automated door system until the floor has stopped changing height.

SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE INTENTION OF A USER TO OPEN A HATCH OF A VEHICLE

A system for detecting an intent to open a hatch of a vehicle includes an identifier having means for recording the intent to open a hatch, where the identifier authenticates itself with an electronic control unit, and receives from the ECU a request for confirmation of intent to open a hatch. Following receipt of the request for confirmation of intent to open a hatch, the existence of a command confirming intent to open a hatch in a memory in the identifier is verified. When the command is initiated, a command signal is sent corresponding to the command confirming intention to open a hatch. The electronic control unit is integrated in the vehicle and authenticates the identifier, locates the identifier in proximity to the hatch, sends the request for confirmation of intent to open a hatch, and receives the command signal corresponding to the command confirming intent to open a hatch.

Passenger and vehicle mutual authentication

Some embodiments include techniques for mutual authentication between a passenger that has requested a transportation service and a dispatched vehicle for providing the requested transportation service. A user device associated with the passenger verifies the dispatched vehicle using a vehicle access token generated by a transportation service platform and sends a secret key to the dispatched vehicle. The dispatched vehicle uses the secret key to recover passenger biometric information from a passenger secret received from the user device through the transportation service platform, captures passenger biometric information on-site, and compares the recovered passenger biometric information and the passenger biometric information collected on-site to verify the passenger.

A computing device may compare a voice command to a voiceprint of a user. The computing device may also determine if the voice command matches the voiceprint and a security level associated with the voice command. An audible announcement may be generated by a virtual assistant (VA) based the determined voice command match and proximity to an object detected by a sensor.

A system comprising a plurality of transponders, each having a user interface to receive commands from a plurality of users and to operate a virtual assistant utilizing artificial intelligence. A micro-computer in an automobile that implements the virtual assistant, wherein the micro-computer configured to identify a particular user from the plurality of users based on a spoken command received via the plurality of transponders. Further, have conversations, including regarding the automobile, between the particular user and respond to future commands or questions from particular user based on prior commands or questions received from the particular user that are stored in a memory of the micro-computer.

RECORDING VIDEO OF AN OPERATOR AND A SURROUNDING VISUAL FIELD

Systems and methods are provided for recording video of a driver in a vehicle and a surrounding visual field of the driver. The system includes a detachable body coupled to a windshield of a vehicle. The system further includes three or more cameras coupled to the detachable body. The three or more cameras are configured to capture surrounding views from the detachable body. One of the three or more cameras faces a driver seat of the vehicle in response to the detachable body being coupled to the windshield of the vehicle. The video may be processed by the system, the cloud, or a combination of them.

Voice biometric pre-purchase enrollment for autonomous vehicles

A method and system for authenticating a user of a vehicle are described. In one embodiment, a user profile is associated with a user of a vehicle. The user profile is used to compare a sample of the voice of the user with a database onboard the vehicle as well as a database stored on a network connected server in communication with the vehicle. A user profile may be associated with a number of vehicles. Users may have a number of levels of permissions associated with a number of different vehicles. A user may be enabled to access a number of vehicle features by providing a voice sample via microphones in and around the vehicle. A voiceprint associated with the user may be improved based upon audio collected by microphones in and around the vehicle.
