Top-fill hummingbird feeder with float valve base closure mechanism
A top-fill hummingbird feeder is provided having a liquid container with a liquid flow opening at a lower end and a removable cap at an upper end, a feeding basin positioned below the liquid container, and a sealing mechanism associated with the liquid flow opening and the feeding basin. The sealing mechanism includes a bottle seal assembly configured for removable coupling with a base of the feeding basin, and a float valve captured by said bottle seal assembly to prevent rotation thereof while allowing the float valve to move upwardly and downwardly with changing nectar levels in the feeding basin. The feeding basin is filled by gravity feed of the liquid in the container through the liquid flow opening when the sealing mechanism is open. When the feeding basin reaches a full position, the liquid nectar raises the float valve which, in turn, acts to close the liquid flow opening.

The automated guided vehicle (110) includes a body (111) adapted to mount a plurality of devices (170), a plurality of wheels (112), a plurality of sensors (113), a collection bin (114) at the rear end (116) of the automated guided vehicle (110), and a detachable protection arrangement (160) at a front (115) of the body (111). The system (100) also includes an overhead power railing unit (120), an open overhead utility line (130) with a vertical water supply line (140) with a pump (142), and a vertical conveyor (150) to retrieve the litter, eggs or wastewater from the collection bin (114) and dispose in the open overhead utility line (130).

The system (100) also includes an overhead power railing unit (120), an open overhead utility line (130) with a vertical water supply line (140) with a pump (142), and a vertical conveyor (150) to retrieve the litter, eggs or wastewater from the collection bin (114) and dispose in the open overhead utility line (130).
DETACHABLE BIRD FEEDER
A detachable bird feeder is provided. The detachable bird feeder includes a shading assembly, a carrier and a substantially U-shaped connector. The connector includes opposite horizontal sides and vertical side connecting the horizontal sides, the horizontal sides serve as a top and a bottom of the connector respectively, the vertical side is used for supporting and fixing. The detachable bird feeder includes a first state for unfolding and a second state for storage, in the first state, the shielding assembly and the carrier are respectively connected to a top and a bottom of the connector, and there is an open space between the shielding assembly and the carrier; in the second state, the shielding assembly and the carrier both are detached and stacked with the connector.

A system (100) for supplying sustenance to animals is provided, comprising a sustenance unit (110), a light source (120) configured to illuminate the sustenance unit, and a sensor arrangement (130) configured to detect a movement of the sustenance unit, a position of an animal in proximity to the sustenance unit, a motion of an animal in proximity to the sustenance unit, and a sound of an animal in proximity to the sustenance unit. The system further comprises a processor configured to compare the detected motion with a predetermined motion associated with an activity of the animal, and to determine an activity of the animal based on the detected position, motion and/or sound of the animal. The system is configured to, via the processor, control the light source based on the detected movement of the sustenance unit and/or the determined activity of the animal.

A hummingbird feeder is provided that has a nectar container with a lower end liquid flow opening, a nectar basin positioned below the nectar container and removably coupled thereto, and a recessed elastomeric sealing member. The nectar basin includes an upper part and a lower part that are separable from one another and configured to be engaged along adjacent surfaces thereof. The recessed elastomeric sealing member is held against a retaining structure and is positioned to be engaged between the upper and lower parts of the nectar basin to create a liquid tight seal of the nectar basin when the feeder components are assembled.
