The engaging mechanism is to prevent a rotation of a rotating body when the engaging mechanism is in a mechanical engagement state. The slider is to switch a state of the engaging mechanism between the mechanical engagement state and a mechanical disengagement state in accordance with a position of the slider. The hydraulic circuit is to change the position of the slider. The processor is configured to increase line pressure in the hydraulic circuit when the engaging mechanism is in the mechanical engagement state.

Motorized Wheelbarrow

A motorized wheelbarrow including a motor and a drive pulley that rotates when the motor is operating. The motorized wheelbarrow also includes wheels and a drive train assembly for transmitting power from the motor to the wheels. The motorized wheelbarrow also includes a clutch assembly movable between a connected condition, in which the motor and the drive train assembly are connected by the clutch assembly, and a disconnected condition, in which the motor and the drive train assembly are not connected with each other, and a brake assembly movable between an engaged condition, in which the brake assembly resists rotation of the wheels, and a disengaged condition, in which the brake assembly does not resist rotation of the wheels. Both of the clutch assembly and the brake assembly are controlled by a single control assembly so that the clutch assembly and the brake assembly are mutually functionally exclusive.

Integrated drive unit having an electric drive and a mechanical brake

A drive and deceleration unit has a mechanical brake and an electric drive. The mechanical brake and the electric drive are provided as a unit for acting on a single wheel connection. A method provides for the open-loop and/or closed-loop control of such a drive and deceleration unit.

Transaxle

A transaxle with a brake includes an axle supported by the transaxle casing, a continuously variable transmission disposed in the transaxle casing, a braking device that is disposed in the transaxle casing and locks a rotation of the axle, a speed control arm that is journaled so as not to rotate relatively with respect to the transmission operating shaft of the transmission, controls the transmission, and is capable of changing a rotation of the axle continuously. A brake arm that is journaled with respect to an operating shaft of the braking device and a relay arm that is journaled so as to be relatively rotatable with respect to the transmission operating shaft are also included. The relay arm has one end connected to the brake arm via a link mechanism and the other end for lock operation input.

PARKING LOCK DEVICE

A parking lock device for a transmission of a vehicle. The device comprising a wheel, a pawl for locking the wheel against rotation and an actuator unit arranged for movement of the pawl relative to the wheel. The pawl has a locked position where the pawl and the wheel are engaged and an unlocked position where the pawl and the wheel are disengaged. The pawl and the actuator unit are mechanically coupled to each other by a pin and slot mechanism having a guide slot and a guide pin received by the guide slot.

Parking lock actuator for integration in a vehicle transmission

A parking lock actuator includes a blocking cam, an actuating device, an energy store, a blocking drive, and an intermediate element. The blocking cam is arranged for positive engagement with a tooth gap of a parking lock gear and the actuating device is for transferring an actuating force to the blocking cam. The energy store is for transferring the actuating force from the actuating device to the blocking cam, the blocking drive is for displacing the actuating device, and the intermediate element is freely displaceable relative to the blocking drive over a predetermined intermediate path for displacing the actuating device. The blocking cam is arranged to positively engage the tooth gap to block rotational movement of the parking lock gear when the actuating device is in a blocked position, and the parking lock gear is rotatable when the actuating device is in an open position.

Brake System For Mine Trucks

A brake system includes a series of rotors for operatively coupling to a shaft and stators for operatively coupling to a frame. A service brake system includes a singular annular service piston extending continuously around the series of rotors and stators and a parking brake system includes a singular annular parking piston positioned to extend continuously around the series of rotors and stators. The service piston nests with the parking piston, under a spring bias, such that the parking piston and service piston continuously engage together around the series of rotors and stators to thereby create the parking brake forces. Springs act on the parking piston to drive the parking piston and nested service piston to engage for parking brake forces. Pressurization of the parking piston deactuates the nested pistons. Then separate pressurization of fluid acts on the service piston to overcome the spring bias and separate the service piston from the parking piston to create service brake forces.
