Electromagnetic brake device
An electromagnetic brake device presses a pressing plate against a brake rotor along an axis via a friction material by the electromagnetic force of an electromagnetic actuator. The electromagnetic brake device includes a support member that is disposed on the opposite side of the pressing plate to the brake rotor and that is supported by a housing so as to be displaceable along the axis and non-rotatable around the axis, and a shaft member that transmits a force in the direction along the axis between the pressing plate and the support member. An electromagnetic coil and an armature of the electromagnetic actuator are spaced apart from the pressing plate between the pressing plate and the support member, the electromagnetic coil is supported by the housing, and the armature is supported by the support member.
MOTOR GEAR UNIT FOR DISC BRAKE APPARATUS AND DISC BRAKE APPARATUS
A motor gear unit for a disc brake apparatus is provided. A speed reduction mechanism is connected to a first connection portion of a motor shaft of an electric motor. A non-excited operation type brake is connected to a second connection portion of the motor shaft.
In a state where the disc brake apparatus is attached to a vehicle body, the motor shaft is disposed so as to be orientated in an upper-lower direction, and the non-excited operation type brake is disposed above the electric motor.
Electric braking device for vehicle
Provided is an electric braking device wherein a friction member is pressed, via a piston driven by an electric motor, against a rotary member that rotates integrally with a vehicle wheel, thus generating a braking force on the vehicle wheel. The electric braking device is provided with: a controller for controlling the electric motor; a rotation angle sensor for detecting a rotation angle of the electric motor; and a return mechanism for applying a return force to a piston in a direction away from the rotary member. Furthermore, the controller executes a proper/improper determination to determine whether the return mechanism is operating properly on the basis of a change in the rotation angle after conduction of electricity to the electric motor is stopped.
Brake apparatus for vehicle
A parking brake apparatus for a vehicle including a motor section receiving electric power, and generating power; a power transmission section rotated by driving the motor section; a pair of pressing units receiving power from the power transmission section and pressing a brake pad; a load transmission unit installed between the pair of pressing units, connected to each of the pair of pressing units, and transmitting a pressing load of any one of the pair of pressing units to the other pressing unit; and a caliper housing having installed therein the pressing units, wherein the motor section is mounted to an upper surface of the caliper housing.
BRAKE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE
A brake apparatus for a vehicle may include: a housing; a pair of pressing parts installed inside the housing, and configured to receive power from a driver and press a brake pad; a load transfer part installed between the pair of pressing parts, and configured to transfer a pressing load of any one of the pair of pressing parts to the other pressing part; and a constraint part installed in the housing such that a length thereof is adjustable, and configured to selectively constrain an operation of the load transfer part depending on a protruding length thereof into the housing.
FAN TO DECELERATE VEHICLE AND PROVIDE COOLING TO FRICTION BRAKES
Apparatuses, systems, and methods apply, with a fan, a braking force to a vehicle that includes an axle. The fan is rotated at a first rotational speed based on a rotation of the axle that rotates at a second rotational speed. The first rotational speed is different from the second rotational speed. The fan applies the braking force when the fan rotates at the first rotational speed.
Brake Device
A brake device, configured to be installed directly on a driving axle or through a hub, wherein said device includes a first brake disc joined to the axle sharing rotary motion, a first container disc and a second container disc configured to be moved in the axial direction of said axle. The container discs are positioned on each side of the brake disc, such that both are configured to be moved in the axial direction towards the linings of the first brake disc and to exert a pushing pressure thereon, producing the braking of the brake disc and, therefore, of the driving axle whereon it is assembled. Furthermore, the container discs comprise an inner circuit configured to accommodate the passage of a coolant configured to cool them.
ELECTRO-MECHANICAL BRAKE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING SAME
Provided is an electro-mechanical brake system and a method of operating the same including: a pair of pad plates disposed on both sides of a disk rotating together with a wheel; a piston configured to allow the pad plates to come in close contact with or to be separated from the disk; a first motor and a second motor configured to operate independently from each other and provide the piston with power; a first gear configured to decelerate power of the first motor and transmit the decelerated power; a second gear configured to convert power of the second motor into a translational motion and apply pressure to or release pressure on the piston while in contact with the piston, the second gear including a guide part slantly formed on a portion that comes in contact with the piston; and a connecting part connecting the first gear and the second gear to each other to allow the first gear and the second gear to rotate together with each other, the connecting part configured to couple the first gear and the second gear such that the second gear is slidable with respect to the first gear.
DISK BRAKE APPARATUS OF IN-WHEEL DRIVING SYSTEM
A disk brake apparatus of an in-wheel driving system may include: an in-wheel driving device having a rotor and stator, and positioned within a wheel; a first torque member installed on the stator, and configured to support one side portions of a pair of brake pads; a second torque member spaced apart from the first torque member, and configured to support the other side portions of the brake pads; and a caliper body having one side portion coupled to the first torque member and the other side portion coupled to the second torque member, and configured to press the brake pads toward a wheel disk.
