Electronic pedal apparatus
An electronic pedal apparatus is configured to perform an electronic pedal function by utilizing a basic configuration and also perform a foldable function by adding some elements to the basic configuration to be usefully used in an autonomous vehicle.
BRAKE CYLINDER COMPRISING TWO INTEGRATED CHAMBERS
A brake cylinder for use with an automotive simulator includes a brake cylinder housing having a master chamber, a slave chamber, a wall disposed therebetween and at least one channel configured to provide fluid communication between the master chamber and the slave chamber. In some variants, the at least one channel may be an opening configured to provide fluid communication between the master chamber and the slave chamber, in another variant the channel may be an external channel such as a tube. The brake cylinder also includes a master piston configured to pressurize fluid in the master chamber when a brake pedal is pressed. The brake cylinder further includes a slave piston and a pressure sensor disposed in fluid communication with the brake cylinder. The pressure sensor is configured to measure pressure in the chambers and send a signal to a processor indicative of movement of the brake pedal. When pressurizing fluid in the master chamber, the master piston is configured to drive fluid from the master chamber to the slave chamber via the at least one channel to increase pressure in the slave chamber.
Stroke simulator and brake operating device including the stroke simulator
A stoke simulator operable by an operation of a brake operation member that is operated by a driver, including: a housing: a movable member held by the housing so as to be movable relative to the housing, the movable member being connected to the brake operation member; a volume change chamber disposed forward of the movable member in the housing; and a plurality of elastic members disposed in the volume change chamber and capable of generating an elastic force in accordance with a movement of the movable member, at least one of the plurality of elastic members being a rubber-like member.

Foldable pedal apparatus for vehicle
A foldable pedal apparatus of a vehicle may include a pedal pad, in which in a manual driving mode situation where a driver directly drives the vehicle, the pedal pad projects into an internal space of the vehicle and is popped up to be exposed toward the driver, whereas in an autonomous driving mode situation where the driver does not directly drive the vehicle, the pedal pad is inserted into a protection cover and is in a hide state where the exposure of the pedal pad toward the driver side is blocked, so that in the hide state of the pedal pad, a prominent internal design of the vehicle may be secured, and when the pedal pad is changed from the hide state to a popup state, the pedal pad is popped up through a small-sized panel hole formed on a footrest panel, and thus a high-tech image may be maximized.

Cable-linked brake pedal assemblies
A cable-linked brake pedal assembly for an airplane. The assembly includes a first cable assembly with a first end attached to a pilot-side brake pedal and a second end attached to a first bell crank assembly, and a second cable assembly with a first end attached to a copilot-side brake pedal and a second end attached to a second bell crank assembly. A first connecting rod with a first rod end is attached to the first bell crank assembly and a second rod end is attached to the second bell crank assembly. The connection between the first and second cable assemblies, first and second bell crank assemblies, and first connecting rod is configured such that depressing the pilot-side brake pedal moves the first cable assembly, first connecting rod, and second cable assembly in such a way as to cause a corresponding depression of the copilot-side brake pedal.
